POV: Vani
I sat down feeling uneasy while staring out the window. The chaos of chaos so great, the peaceful city has now become the rubble that ignited the fire. In this room, there's only me and Ken, but there should be Ares too. But now, Ares is working with Safa to save the remaining occupation of the city.
I glanced at Ken for a moment, looking at him who was still eating fruit voraciously.
Her body became thinner from the last time we met, it seemed like she was not even given an infusion during her 5-day fainting spell.
I looked back out the window, it felt so upset that I couldn't do anything with my strength right now. Though both Ares, Safa, Riot or Elly, they are fighting in this enigmatic arena.
"But I'm still a little confused" said Ken. I glanced at him who was busy collecting fruit skins.
"What other mountain?" I was cold as I tapped my finger to the edge of the window. Ken was immediately nervous while trying to avoid my eyes.
"Why do you look so angry?" ken asked, pursing his lips, almost slipping my hand to slap him again.
"Ga know, just shut up." I turned around and looked out the window again.
"Let's tell me what's really going on~!" whinek Ken with a reddened face. I sighed softly then immediately stood up and walked towards him.
"I want to tell you a story, but I can't right now" I said, patting Ken on the shoulder. He looked at me confused, his eyes wondering why.
"We're caught."
THE DUARK!
The walls of this house were smashed into pieces, dust and broken walls that even dirty my clothes and Ken. From behind that shattered wall stood a little girl who was no longer a stranger to me, nor Ken.
Civilians.
"Return ... Ken!" he said with a stifled anger. She bit her lower lip to the point of bleeding, her eyes looking at me with guts and vengeance.
I chuckled and immediately stood in front of Ken. His brown eyes looked straight at me, the breeze that felt piercing this skin the longer it got tighter.
"Return? Didn't you steal it from us? Oh, naw. Just take it if you want, I don't care about Ken, either." I smiled lightly while pointing at Ken. I don't care if Ken's hurt right now, because I have to do it according to Ares' plan.
"You heard them, didn't you, Ken? Come here" Civilian said in a firm tone. Ken grasped my skirt slowly, his gaze so hesitant to go with Civilian.
"Aren't you the one who dumped us first? Why do you doubt now? You know clearly I'm a vindictive person, so you better not test my anger one more time" I said as I grabbed Ken's brown hair. I put his face on me, and I whispered something to him.
BRUK!
"Take Ken, I don't need." I threw Ken in front of Civilian, my eyes focused on Ken's knee that was bleeding from the throws. Civilian immediately helped Ken to stand up, then looked at me sharply.
"But unfortunately, I can't let you live either." Civilian pointed his palm at me. In a split second, I could feel my body being lifted by the strong currents of the wind.
"Are you really the windbender, huh?" ask me with a bright smile. Civilian was just a flat expression, he swung his hand towards the right. I was also thrown to the right, which turned out to be about to hit my body against the wall.
BRUISES!
"GOD!" My eyes were staring at Civilian faintly, and even Ken was trying to protect me.
No problem, after this .. I leave the rest to you, Ken.
After that my gaze made you, the only thing I could see .. was the number of cats that invaded Civilian.

POV: Ken
I freaked out when I saw Vani being knocked against the wall so hard. Immediately I pulled the Civilian arm fast enough for him to look at me.
Until a group of cats appeared and then crazily clawed at him.
"MOMEROS!"
"WOW!"
"What the fuck?! This must be fucking Safa! Go Ken! We have to run!" Civilian pulled my hand and took me flying with a gust of wind. The cats were no longer able to catch up to the Civilians, even though they had climbed onto the roof.
But ... His cats only attacked Civilians, they didn't attack me. Don't-don't .. This has something to do with what Vani told me?
From a height, I observed the surroundings. This city is as beautiful as the city of Oner. Although it is not as bad as the city, but this is still terrible. I glanced towards the Civilian back in front of me, he didn't even care about my health.
If it's not wrong ... earlier Vani said .. I have to meet Elly first, then I know the full story, right? But ... Elly disappeared before my eyes. Then where is he? I also have no clue at all about his whereabouts.
WUSH OFF!
I looked to the side, there was Ares flying while carrying a large plate on his back.
Wait, is that a plate? Isn't that more similar ... shield? AND WHY DID HE EVEN FLY IN THIS DIRECTION, WHAT WAS THE PLAN?!
"HAHAHAHAHA! MEET YOU!" I flinched and looked straight up. A woman with reddish-brown hair I knew was free-falling towards me and Civilian. She is Thea.
I stared anxiously at Ares, I could see that he was preparing to throw his shield at me. I was immediately overwhelmed and gestured for Ares not to throw his shield.
WHONG!
Shit, he's insensitive.
The shield flew sideways quickly towards me, as did Thea who was already preparing to touch me. Civilian seems unconscious, I don't know what makes him so much of a mind.
I can't just shut up either!
A BLAR!
I let out my strength with all my effort, the green flames on both my hands were already burning. Although this does not have any effect on inanimate objects, at least it can treat my hand directly when receiving the blow of Ares' shield.
The shield is near, ready ... OKAY NOW!
BUAGHS! CRUST!
I could feel my broken fingers crispy like fried chicken skin.
"UAGH!"
Wush!
I threw the shield down, and my hand was healed. But when I looked up, Thea's hand was in front of my face.
"N-no." My eyes glanced at Ares who was smiling gently. In my heart, I wondered what his smile meant.
Oh shit . I'm too late.
CRING!
