Nadia drove her car slowly, through traffic on the streets that were very crowded at work. Even so, it seems like the trip is a fun trip for Akira, who sits in the middle seat while looking down at the street view from behind the car's glass window.
"Mama, take a short walk, dong ...! Don't go straight home, will you?" akira said, wailing to Nadia through the middle of the chair.
"Yes, honey. It's also a walk, right?" nadia replied, really with gentle intonation and demeanor, glancing towards the middle rearview to be able to see the girl who was sitting sweetly in the middle seat.
Akira put on a big smile, looked up at the middle rearview, before finally playing his gaze back out the window. Seeing the carefree expression and behavior of his daughter who looked very happy, made Berlin's heart very calm.
Nadia glanced at her husband, smiled and said, "we ... slightly twisted for a moment, huh?"
"Yes, as long as it makes her happy" Berlin replied, smiling, sounding calm as she glanced back to confirm Akira's whereabouts.
At a crossroad leading to the hilly region of the city. Nadia changed her supposed straight route, but she turned left, twisting slightly through the hillsides of the city.
The streets in the hilly region of the city are not too crowded, unlike the streets in the city center that are very crowded, even to create a long traffic jam does not move.
"Honey, after dinner, I have to go to Balaikota to meet Garwig. Can you, right?" berlin said, grabbing a topic of conversation to fill the trip. In the middle seat of the car, the boy named Akira looks very enthusiastic. Many times he moved from right to left, touched the window of the car, and looked outside with a sparkling gaze.
"Together with me?" nadia asked, reducing the speed of her car because of the winding road.
"No, you can rest at home. My meeting with Garwig will be a little about work, and I'm going there with some of my colleagues" Berlin replied, smiling.
Nadia had a glance, before finally having to focus back towards the streets in front. The mummy gave his answer by saying, "may, but don't go home at night, yes ...!"
Berlin smiled at the reply, "yes, eleven o'clock at night, I'm home" she said, grabbing and stroking the mother's stomach before continuing to speak, "if I am too late, you also do not forget to rest ...! There is no need to wait for me in the living room," he continued, staring gently at the wife.
Nadia nodded her head, smiling, saying, "yes."
...
The journey lasted quite a long time. From the beginning Akira's voice that sounded very enthusiastic, now turned into silence. Nadia had a glance towards the rearview mirror of the car, as well as Berlin who looked back to make sure. The boy was seen sleeping quite extensively on the soft bench. He looks quite tired, seems tired from playing almost all day with his friends while in the orphanage.
"He's sleeping" said Berlin.
"Yes, just tell me," Nadia smiled warmly after confirming her estranged daughter was asleep.
I saw the princess who was asleep. Nadia also took the fastest route to immediately return home, more precisely to the villa. It only takes about fifteen minutes. Right at six o'clock, the three of them finally arrived at the sizable villa.
"I guess let me just carry him" said Berlin, shortly after Nadia parked her car in the yard.
"You sure? Can you?" sahut Nadia, quite anxious, given the condition of Berlin that has not fully recovered, walking alone must still be assisted by a stick to maintain its balance.
"Can, just calm down ...!" berlin replied, smiling, and giving his thumbs up.
Berlin got out of the car, slowly using his cane, moved to the back door to hold Akira who was still asleep. Slowly, the man lifted up and carried the little body of his daughter, out of the car.
"Papa, we're home, okay?" cetus Akira, asked in a voice that sounded still limp. The boy was silent, especially when he was in a Berlin sling.
"Yes," replied Berlin, with his left hand holding the child's body, while his right hand continued to hold his cane to walk.
"Papa, is it okay to walk while holding Akira like this?" said Akira, who had put his head on Berlin's shoulders, now turned his head and looked at the man with both eyes still looking sleepy. The boy's eyes glanced toward Berlin's right hand, which kept holding his wand, and ended up descending on the man's right leg, which was still wrapped in bandages. The wand continued to walk, following Berlin's footsteps.
Berlin smiled, chuckled, and replied, "not at all! The proof, at this time Papa can carry Akira easily, with one hand."
Akira smiled, making eye contact with the man while saying "Papa is cool!" chirps.
The praise from Akira, made Berlin laugh a little at that, "cool, right?" saith.
"He'em!" murmured Akira, smiling, nodding, before embracing, hugging and re-putting his head right on Berlin's left shoulder.
Berlin continued to follow Nadia, to the terrace of the house, and then into the house. "Mama, what are we going to eat tonight? Akira's hungry, here!" cetus Berlin, a little yell to Nadia who had already entered and was in the living room.
With a sweet smile. Nadia turned her head, and replied, "what do you want to eat, honey?" he answered by asking Akira a question.
Hearing that question, made Akira turn his head, "what, huh? Fried rice?" he replied, spontaneously without thinking.
Berlin chuckled at the reply, "do you want to eat fried rice again?" ask the boy.
"like, deh. Akira just ate it at all, Alana," replied Akira.
"Oh, huh?" sahut Berlin, while stepping through the living room to the kitchen and dining room.
Akira nodded, "yes, Brother Alana used to buy that, and I am loved by her."
"Enak? Spicy, right?" berlin said, asking again, chatting with his daughter who was still in his arms.
"Don't kid!" akira replied, then shook his head while saying, "not spicy."
"Then you have to try the fried rice made by Mama! So spicy!!" berlin said, arriving at the dinner table, and lowering Akira from his carrier.
"Medicum? But Akira does not like spicy," said Akira, looking up to be able to look at Berlin.
"Please, Papa you like to exaggerate!" sidelines Nadia, steps up, and stands right behind Akira. "Yeah, sit!" continued the mumil while directing his daughter to sit at the dining table.
"So ... You want Mama masakin fried rice?" cetus Nadia, stepped closer to a large refrigerator right next to an electric stove.
"Yes! Mama can make it, right?" sahut Akira exclaimed, looking enthusiastic. The boy sat down sweetly, waiting.
It was not Nadia who answered that question. But it was Berlin who sat right opposite Akira, who answered him by saying, "Your mom is good at cooking, ask him for any menu, must be cooked!"
"Yes, I'm masakin, as long as you please feel sensitive," said Nadia, then glanced sharply at Berlin, while both hands were busy preparing kitchen spices.
Berlin chuckled, smiled, looking at the busy wife. He immediately got out of his chair, approached, and intended to help the pregnant woman.
"I'm also trying to help!" yelled Akira, get off his chair.
"Well, wait at the dinner table, okay? It's not too complicated, really! So there is no need for much help, let Papa help," replied Nadia, turning her head, slightly lowered her head and smiling warmly to her daughter who was standing right behind her.
"Good!" The boy nodded once, stepping back into his chair.
Time went on, and slowly one by one the dinner menu was presented on the dining table. Akira's eyes twinkled, looking very enthusiastic, let alone his empty plate was very ready and impatient to be filled by food.
"Mama, I want that!" Akira pointed to Nadia's omelet on one of the dishes. Nadia grabbed it, and moved the omelet on a plate that Akira now filled with fried rice.
"Fried rice will be less, if not use this ...!" cetus Berlin, showing a cracker in his hand.
"I'm going to try!" sahut Akira, grabbed a jar containing crackers. After which, he started to directly scoop up hence, and greedily ate it.
"Don't!!!!" exclaimed the boy, with a mouth full of fried rice. Both of his eyes were twinkling.
"Slow down, baby ...!" nadia said, smiling, reminding her daughter.
The dinner was warm and harmonious, even a few times coupled with some chatter and casual jokes.
