Ashgard: Ambition and Purpose

Ashgard: Ambition and Purpose
Two Different Regions #190

"Berlin, I've prepared some of these badges for Ashgard, each of you will get one as an identity that you are part of officially a member."

"The badge is useful for your identity, but on the other hand it can also be used in some precarious situations to enter areas that are heavily guarded by the authorities."

"I really want you to use the badge wisely, and don't be abused! Because if you abuse the badge, you're gonna have a very complicated problem with the government."

"And for those files, they're all membership files that a leader like you, Berlin, should have. In each file there is a Member Sign Card that must be owned by a Special Division like you, and you must take care."

"Finally, I'm sorry that it wasn't me who met you and gave you these things. Because the responsibilities that are imposed on me at this time can not be taken away."

Such was the content of the letter written directly in hand by Garwig, and read directly by Berlin after receiving the items. Berlin breathed a heavy sigh, a little disappointed that Garwig could not meet him and handed over these items directly. But the disappointment was not so he ignored. He was more focused on sharing some badges and Member Sign Cards in the box with his friends.

One-by-one of his colleagues went into his study, and came out with the badges and member cards given by Berlin. After all, they get their member's badge and card. Berlin again gathered his colleagues in the living room, and conveyed some things about the badge and the Member Card which is now in the hands of each of his colleagues.

Berlin conveyed several things that were also conveyed by Garwig through the letter he read. Some of it is about the usefulness of badges and cards members are dealt, as well as prohibitions that should not be violated. Berlin conveyed all of that very firmly, his gaze sharply staring one by one the faces of his colleagues. The aura of a leader can really be seen from his way and attitude when speaking in front of his friends, so firm and authoritative even though only with his blue jacket.

"Is there anything less than your equipment? If there is, just tell me directly, so I can confirm it!" berlin said before ending his speech in front of his colleagues.

"Nothing, thank you, Boss ...!" bobi represents his colleagues.

"Well" said Berlin, then slightly lowered his head, looked at the time on his watch and said, "I think it's time for you."

"Stay watch out for each other, and try not to provoke a fuss! Whatever happens, report and communicate! Don't break up contact, okay?" berlin continued, reiterating some things back to his colleagues.

"Good!"

"Understand!"

During the day, twelve o'clock is fifteen. Ashgard is divided into two groups, and goes to two different districts or regions. Their goal is to find out some things about the criminal groups involved and suspected. Based on the basic information that Berlin currently has, the Red Rascals have claimed many of the former territories belonging to the Nostra Clone. One of the areas claimed was the two territories that Berlin decided to go to for its comrades, the Western District and also the Port Area.

In addition to the Red Rascals, Berlin also has some information about a motorcycle club called the Western Motor Club. The group hiding behind a "legal" mask from the public has its own territory, in several places in the Western District, as the name implies.

...

Fifteen minutes had passed, since almost all of his companions had departed from the Ashgard House. Now in the residence there is only Asep who sits sweetly behind his desk and in front of the screens of his monitor is lit, while Berlin is leaning on the door of Asep's workspace.

"Just calm down, boss. They won't act over the line, really!" cetus Asep, while his fingers shrewdly pressed the alphabet on his computer keyboard.

Asep turned his chair around, and grabbed another seat not far from him. "Just sit down first, I don't feel good if I just see you leaning in there" he said.

"I'm not worried about them, yeah. But I just .. feel bored. There's not much I can do here, other than just monitor their movements from a distance, and wait for the report."

"Who said?!" sahut Asep, looking at Berlin, and then turned back to the main screen of his computer while continuing to say, "you want to play a game, boss? Can, nih! Moreover, the computer specifications here are very great!" he said with admiration and enthusiasm. It uses the home screen to open its favorite apps or online games.

Berlin just chuckled at the attitude of his friend, sighed and then said, "so how, have you moved up the ranks?" cetus Berlin, quipped about the online game played by his partner.

"You doubt me?! I've reached the highest rank in this game! Shooting in the real world is very easy, especially in the game" said Asep, with a cocky and haughty tone. Both hands are busy with the keyboard and mouse to operate the computer.

Asep looked back, looked at Berlin and asked, "why don't you want to try to play it?"

Berlin shook his head and immediately replied, "no, because I'd rather use firearms in the real world than cyberspace."

Asep's gaze returned to the monitor in front of him as he said, "yes, heck. It's more exciting to hold a real gun than just in an online game."

In the middle of Asep's preoccupation with playing the computer. His attention suddenly turned to one of the five screens on the wall right in front of him. He was quite surprised when he saw her and immediately said, "Boss, red jacket, don't they ...?" cetusus, calling Berlin to approach, and look at the screen located at the top left.

"Red Rascals ...!" sahut Berlin, with a look as if surprised to see the recording of the picture on the screen. The footage shown is footage that came from one of the surveillance cameras in the Western District.

"I'll tell Adam and the others, you .. can you keep monitoring and tracking those people?" cetus Berlin, asked Asep before leaving the room.

"Sure, I'll try to keep taking the visuals!" sahut Asep, immediately closed the video games he played, and switched to the task that was suddenly given to him.

Berlin immediately moved out of the room, after seeing the movement of a group of people in red jackets, and they were all confirmed armed. He immediately returned to his study, and contacted the group he had sent to the Western District for an investigation.

Asep, himself busy behind his computer, took every portrait and recording captured by several police surveillance cameras installed in the district area, as well as tracking where the movement of a group of people in the red jacket. Fortunately, this computer device is government-owned, so he did not have to bother to do hacking to get access to the surveillance cameras.
