At 15:15 p.m.
Berlin received several archival attachments given and shown by his colleague Asep. Not only some of the archival attachments, but Asep also brought an archive that he stored in a small object commonly referred to as a flash. To display the contents of the flash, the man had prepared a laptop that he placed right on the glass table of the middle room.
"As expected, it must have been the Red Rascals behind the threat" Berlin muttered as he read an appendix to the report about who was behind the phone the threat his wife Nadia received. Based on a data that was tracked and obtained by his colleagues, now he knows specifically who is behind the threat voice. The figure is very well known by the name of Calder, a man who has a strong bond with a group called the Red Rascals. Based on the data that is now in his hands, Calder is one of the people who became the leader of the group.
"Yes, it's actually not too difficult to trace the origin of the number. I'm just confused as to why it's that easy to find, and whether it was intentional by them. To be honest, I speculated a few things before I went to sleep." Asep gave an opinion on the foreign number that he managed to get a profile of someone behind it.
"Calder, a very foreign name in my ear, and I didn't expect to know this data about him" Berlin said, lowering the attachment he had been focusing on, and then put it back on the glass table.
"You don't know his full name?" berlin asked Asep about the man named Calder.
Asep shook his head and replied, "negative, even I've jabbed into the government's civilian database, and his name is just one word, nothing more."
"It's very likely that he doesn't have a full name, or if he does. .. means there are some 'games' that he uses to mislead government data," continued the man while busy turning on and connecting the flash on his laptop.
Berlin heaved a heavy sigh hearing what the colleague was saying. Leaning back at his couch, he spoke to his colleague who was sitting across from him saying, "it's really a complicated world with so many games."
"But that's how the world is, isn't it?" sahut Asep, had glanced at Berlin with a cynical smile, before then his focus was returned to the screen of his laptop on the table.
Berlin only chuckled faintly at what his colleague had said, and returned with a casual look toward the ceiling of the room. A little while later, she was called back by Asep who said, "Boss, this is the important thing I want to show you."
The man immediately looked at the laptop screen that had been faced with him. On the screen is shown a recording of images taken from a police surveillance camera. The footage shows a chronology of the events of a grocery store vandal carried out by a group of armed men with striking purple jackets. The purple jacket is a jacket with a color that is very identical to the criminal group called Cassano, moreover, Berlin had seen many times Cassano roam with the jacket before the group finally underwent its last action and ended up disbanded with the capture of Kibo Gates Hadi as the leader of the group.
But the oddity happened, and it was very clearly visible on the glass screen of the laptop which is currently being viewed by Berlin itself. Berlin had confirmed the date and time in the left corner of the screen, and it was true, there was no error in the date and time when the recorded incident occurred last night.
"There's no way it's Cassano, right? They have been dissolved since the chaos in the city hall a few weeks ago," said Asep, repeating the recording displayed on his laptop screen.
Berlin shook his head and replied, "but it's not possible that they are."
"Yes, anyway. I agree with you," said Asep, folding both arms and with a downcast look of thought.
"Then what about the police? Did they know about this?" ask Berlin.
Asep shook his head and replied, "i don't know much, but it looks like this assault case isn't very apparent." The man raised his gaze again and continued saying, "i've been listening and monitoring some news, and I haven't found any news about this attack."
"Most news about the trial will be held tomorrow, and it looks like the Tokyo El Claunius trial is trending on the topic" Asep continued.
TAP ... TAP ...!!
The sound of footsteps rang out to more than one person, followed by the appearance of two men and one woman who came from the front entrance. Carlos looks like he just showed up this afternoon, and he didn't come alone. The figure of Garwig and her loyal secretary, Siska, also came along with the man.
"I'm sorry I was late, Garwig invited me to talk some things with me" said Carlos, walking casually towards the living room with Garwig and Siska.
Berlin stood for a moment to greet the honored guest, before sitting down again with Garwig now sitting across from him. As for Asep, he moved to a single seat sofa that was right next to a long sofa occupied by Berlin.
"Tumben is very quiet here, where is it?" garwig asked Berlin.
"They're playing at the back" Berlin briefly replied.
"Compared?"
