Ashgard: Ambition and Purpose
Seventh Month #187
A bright morning on the first day of preparation has arrived. Berlin's time for Ashgard to get ready began to slowly erode, with the remaining two days due for the preparation day from now. But even so he looks very calm, considering there is still a very spare time for him. He did not want to be too hasty in deciding, and rather wanted to enjoy the process for the preparation of his group, Ashgard.
This morning at eight o'clock, Berlin was seen casually enjoying a cup of his warm tea in the living room, with a cell phone lit up in his grasp.
"Mama, I played in the back first, yeah!" yelling Akira ran away from the steps of Nadia who was about to go to the middle room after finishing with her busyness in the kitchen, "morning, Pa!" cetus Akira, did not forget to greet the figure of Berlin before finally running towards the glass door behind which was wide open.
Berlin just smiled seeing the boy running around, letting him be engrossed himself. Unlike Nadia who actually looks quite anxious when she sees her daughter running around, "be careful, watch out for falls ...!" she said with a soft-sounding intonation, then sighed with her worried face as a mother.
"Don't worry, just let him play, and we'll just keep an eye on him. If it falls, let it rise again. If the blisters, stay treated," cetus Berlin with calm intonation, smiled to his wife who was slowly sitting right by his side.
"How can you calm down, anyway?" cetus Nadia, looking at her husband.
Berlin had a small laugh, then a smile, looked gently at the mummy next to him and said, "because I know the area is playing, and I can confirm that there is nothing dangerous in this park" he replied, then look back, and see the figure of a little girl who was busy running around in the middle of a flower bed.
The man turned his gaze back to the beautiful face of the wife, turned off and put his phone on the glass table, before then landed one of his palms touch the mother's stomach while asking, "how's your condition? It's already into the seventh month, isn't it?" his question immediately shifted the subject with his gaze that seemed really warm and soft, very different from Berlin usually.
Nadia smiled warmly, holding the hand of a man who was busy stroking his stomach while answering, "my condition is nothing to worry about, I feel good and healthy. By the way, tomorrow is my schedule check, you want to accompany me? If you're busy, I'm fine, too" he said with a sweet smile.
"I'll accompany you!" sahut Berlin was so enthusiastic, looking at his wife's eyes with a serious look.
"Wouldn't it really interfere with your work?" ask Nadia back.
Berlin smiled, shook his head and replied, "no, you take it easy!"
The man then turned his head back, as if confirming Akira's whereabouts. Seeing his daughter running around chasing butterflies. Berlin turned his face back to his wife, and then suddenly his head slowly landed right on the lap of the wife.
Berlin put his ears and cheeks on his wife's stomach, and began to speak for himself as if he were talking to a tiny figure inside.
Nadia only chuckles a little at the behavior of her man, she gently stroked the head belonging to Berlin who was in his lap, and let him engross himself with his stomach.
Berlin stared gently at the wife's stomach from a very close distance, before finally saying, "tomorrow when examined, you should not be shy, huh? Let Papa know you are a boy or a girl, let Papa's curiosity at least be answered, and let Papa can prepare a name for you. You understand, don't you, honey?" he said, then gently kiss the stomach covered in a white dress worn by Nadia.
"Yes, Papa! I'll try, yeah!" cetus Nadia with a voice intonation made-up like a child, playing the role as if answering the words of Berlin.
Berlin suddenly looked up, looking at the beautiful face of Nadia who also looked down and looked at her, before then smiling and laughing together.
"Papa, Mama, look! I caught a butterfly!" akira exclaimed, running small back into the living room with both palms clenched.
Berlin immediately sat back down, smiling at Akira's presence, "oh, huh? where's?" said it.
Akira slowly opened his two palms that had been clenching. When the two small palms opened, a beautiful little blue butterfly flew straight from there.
Akira's face seemed very happy when he saw the beautiful little butterfly flying back from both palms. His gaze could not take off every movement of the butterflies flying around him, before finally heading to the back glass door and exiting back to the flower garden behind.
The happy faces of his wife and daughter made Berlin feel the same way. The smile on his face continued to be plastered as if it was difficult to fade. Instantly and for a while, he seemed to be able to forget about the tiredness of thinking and work, all problems seemed to just disappear, for a while.
This morning, Berlin wants to spend a moment for his little family, before he leaves and returns to his job because Ashgard needs him. Moreover, Ashgard had obtained one of his maiden assignments, and that task had quite an important role in the trial that would take place in the next few days.
