Ashgard: Ambition and Purpose

Ashgard: Ambition and Purpose
Midnight Surveillance Cameras #210

At 23:00 p.m., Ashgard House.

Asep was seen sitting relaxing in his study, in front of his computer screen that continues to light up. The man was seen relaxing, accompanied by a warm cup of coffee on his desk, and an online game on his smartphone. His leisurely activities went smoothly, until he got a voice call from Berlin fifteen minutes later.

"What's up, Boss?" asep asked on the voice call.

"Nadia got a threatening call addressed to me, and I want you to find out who the person behind the foreign contact number is going to send you. Can it?" answer Berlin.

"Of course, share that contact, and leave it to me if it's something like this!" sahut Asep, excited.

"Well, thank you, Sep!" berlin said, before finally ending the call.

Such a short voice call. Shortly after the call ended, Asep received a contact shared by Berlin via his mobile phone. He immediately took orders from Berlin, and soon went into action.

"There is finally a task to find out about someone," murmured Asep, looking very enthusiastic when his fingers began to play the keyboard and mouse his.

The man seemed to focus on the main screen of his computer. Some government-owned population data he checked, as well as looking for every contact number belonging to each citizen who amounted to more than thousands of people. Luckily the computer he uses is a government facility, then he is not so troubled to open closed and confidential data.

"It's busy, is Berlin telling you to do something?" asked Kimmy who suddenly stood at the entrance of the room.

"Yes, he told me to find out who the person behind the phone is the threat that happened to Nadia," Asep replied, his focus was not shifted from the main screen.

"Call threat? Then Nadia got the threat?!" sahut Kimmy, frown his forehead.

"That's how it is" Asep replied casually, typing something using his keyboard.

"How dare! Who's the guy?!" sahut Kimmy snorted in annoyance with both arms folded over his chest.

"It's me trying to figure out who it is" Asep replied, then sipped his warm coffee.

While typing something, Asep asked Kimmy, "the others are already on a break? Tumben is so quiet at this hour."

Kimmy leaned against the door of the room, chuckled at what her colleague said and then replied, "it's impossible for friends at this hour to go to sleep," he then looked at the wall clock that showed eleven o'clock past twenty nights.

"They're in the back dorm, they're playing cards there" she continued.

The atmosphere in the main building of the night towards midnight is indeed very quiet, silent, even dark, except for the workspace owned by Asep which is so bright. His friends had already moved to the dormitory, and spent their time resting in the building.

"I was here to invite you to join, but you seem to be busy, so I undo my intentions" Kimmy said with a warm smile that was plastered to see his male counterpart.

"Haha!" Asep had a small laugh, pausing his activity that had been typing and checking every table on his monitor screen, and then turned to look at Kimmy who was standing behind him.

"At the same time I like my job a lot more than playing the cards, because by being here I can always be close to these machines" Asep continued, leaning back on his chair, and looking at every screen attached to his front wall, as well as some of the computers in his room, "i've always dreamed of having this kind of work space," he murmured with a low-sounding intonation.

Kimmy just nodded, smiled gently and then said, "alright, but don't forget to take a break! You know that Berlin would be upset if you forgot the time, right?"

"Just calm!" sahut Asep exclaimed, and then refocused on his main screen again.

"Then I go first, if you need me just send a message!" kimmy said, about to leave the room.

"okay!" asep briefly said while giving a thumbs up, but without turning his head and looking at the woman.

Kimmy just throws his smile at how enthusiastic and passionate the man is, especially when trusted by Berlin to do something. The woman then moved away from there, not wanting to disturb all the activities undertaken by Asep.

"Rice!" asep suddenly shouted. On the main screen, a profile of a person behind an unknown contact was sent by Berlin. He succeeded, and then sent the news to Berlin via a short message.

The brief message he sent was immediately replied to by Berlin, and the man asked him to create an archive of attachments about the person's profile. Of course it was immediately done by Asep without thinking long and waiting long.

In the middle of the process of creating an archive of the person's profile attachment. Asep's view was suddenly attracted and was fixed to the two monitor screens in the upper left corner. The screen is a screen that displays every image or recording captured by several police surveillance cameras installed in several corners of the city.

"Aren't they ...?!" muttered Asep, stopping his work for a moment, staring intently and focusing on the screen which showed the movement of a group of people in purple jackets in a small grocery store in an alley.

The men were armed with fire, they were seen entering the closed grocery store by force, even firing shots and causing the glass in the store to break.

"No, this is impossible! Cassano should have been disbanded, but why would they even rob a store?!" Asep left his job for a moment, moved to use his cursor, and then immediately saved the recording and archived it.

"No, they're not robbing" said a man with a flat tone coming from behind Asep. Suddenly Asep's voice surprised, and made himself immediately look back. When he turned his head, he found that the one speaking behind him was suddenly Kent.

"Jeez, you're just surprising!" asep snorted while sighing and slightly lowered his head with his eyes closed for a moment.

"Sorry, I suddenly came in curious to see the door of your room left open and brightest among the darkness" Kent replied, calmly, stand with one can of cold drink in one of his hands.

"It's okay" Asep said, "then what do you mean they're not robbing?"

"Look, do they look like they're eyeing and picking up something from the store?" kent answered with a fixed look toward the monitor screen, then drank a can after he finished talking.

"I think you're right, they ... just broke it, '" said Asep, muttering with low intonation and a gaze fixed on one of the screens.
