Become Tyrant On My Own Way

Become Tyrant On My Own Way
Chapter 127 – DEPARTURE OF YOUR FATHER

I was with Anna's subordinate doctors after trying to treat Ayahanda to the maximum of our ability.

However, Ayahanda's condition worsened.

“Master should be strong.”

Albert, who had been back a few days with Alice from Lobos City, did not take a second to take his eyes off me. It is only natural that my confidants are worried to see my current situation is so messy.

However, Ayahanda disease is a complication disease due to old age. Even with the combination of my medical knowledge and the other doctors, we were still unable to make Ayahanda's condition improve.

The members of the sacred temple that were placed in the palace to maintain the health of the members of the royal family had also made their utmost efforts in their own way, yet it was the same. Even with the mental support of the belief in the sacred temple, it did not help the recovery of the Father at all.

In the midst of the deterioration of the father's condition, we still have to do a proper funeral for my brother, Tius Star Meglovia.

I'm sad.

Though these are the last moments of our farewell with Sister Tius. However, the release is done ala ratenya because of the situation of the King's pain.

But anyway, I was also one of the people who could not serve in releasing Kak Tius' departure. I thought more about the condition of the sickly Father at that time. But what can I do. Brother Tius can no longer return, but if I let my guard down just a little, now it is the turn of Father's life at stake.

I don't feel like I can afford to lose my family anymore.

Perhaps the only person at that time who was able to release the departure of Kak Tius solemnly, was a Swein.

I also passed by leaving Kak Tius's navel while staring slowly back. All I could see was Swein's back getting smaller as the distance from the tomb got further and further from my view.

Then one day, Ayahanda also reached his critical peak. Luckily, I was still able to get through that day.

The weak father then suddenly summoned all the remaining members of the royal family, namely me, Talia, Helion, Ilene, Sister Vierra, and Mother Theia. The father also appears to have specifically called Albert.

Then in the midst of his conversation, Ayahanda reached into my face while trying to smile in a weak state of his lungla lying on the bed.

“I'm sorry, son, all this time I've never acted like a father to you.”

Unknowingly, distant tears dripped down my cheeks.

“No, Dad. Even though it was a while, I can still remember how sincere Ayahanda's affection was when I was a child. Over time Ayahanda was raised to be king, Ayahanda must be more busy. And I understand why Father rarely see me again after.”

“Helios, the thing that Ayahanda regretted the most at that time was to obey the request of the holy temple to exile you in that rundown palace. If Ayahanda had a little firmness and authority to defend you.. would everything be different?”

“Ayahanda, let the past pass. What Helios cares about right now is the recovery of Dad.”

I saw Father with his frail lips trying his hardest to smile at me. His gaze was faint and calm, but why did I feel such a bad feeling from his smile? It was as if hinting that Ayahanda had just wanted to say her last will.

No, it can't be like this! The father must have the spirit of life to get through the critical times.

My father then turned his attention away from my face to the face of my little baby Helion.

“Nak Helios's. Take care of your son, my grandson. This is a shame because Father who failed to take care of you asked for this, but do not end up like Father. Whatever the circumstances, I want you to put the interests of the family as important as the interests of the country.”

“Don't forget our goal of protecting the country is none other than to protect our family. Don't be trapped by the pseudo heroic mirage that ends up making you suffer.”

I understand exactly what Ayahanda meant. We protect the country so that our grandchildren who live in it can feel happiness. What does it mean that after doing a great task like protecting the country, our children and grandchildren will only end up suffering with our departure.

There is a famous story that has long been in the Continent of Ernoa even before the establishment of the Kingdom of Meglovia, Cassandra the witch.

But his father and mother, the king and queen of the kingdom, were later killed by the rebellion of the people of his own kingdom. But it was not a natural rebellion. His father and mother were betrayed and stabbed in the back by his own confidants and ended up tragically accused of being demons that sacrificed the lives of the people of his kingdom as a result of a luxurious life.

Later it was known it was slander, but it was too late. His father and mother are no longer in this world.

Cassandra and her older brother, Hector, were left behind. The king was succeeded by another person who came from a branch family, but the king drove Cassandra and Hector away from the land where they should have been protected since his father could have peace.

Cassandra and Hector became teenagers. Then then, then, it is said that there was a time when the demons managed to penetrate the monster forest led by a very great arch demon who again made the country that left Cassandra and Hector into a ravage.

There was not a single person on the continent who could defeat the arch demon.

But then, Hector, Cassandra's only older brother, his family is left after the death of his father and mother, who, asked by the King who had driven them from their own country to return to the country defeated the arch demon at the cost of his life as their father had done.

Hector agreed to the request behind Cassandra on the condition that after her death, Cassandra could obtain proper treatment from the kingdom.

Arch demon was defeated this time by sacrificing the life of the brother. Cassandra was alone.

The King then let Cassandra stay in the kingdom, but what happened, the King reneged on his promise by never telling Cassandra the truth and she was just left hanging in the streets.

Long story short, there was a sacred temple maid who pity to see Cassandra dangling in the streets that could be very dangerous herself about her beauty. The sacred temple maid also took Cassandra into the holy temple and became Cassandra as one of the sacred temple servants. But that was not the end where Cassandra gained her composure.

Cassandra was seduced by a young man named Dionysius and eventually decided to break out of the sacred temple in order to marry him since the sacred temple maid was forbidden to marry. However, another young man named Apollo who was the half-brother of Dionysius who also loved Cassandra set her up and so she was accused of blasphemy the sacred temple.

Cassandra was about to be burned alive but then her body disappeared.

Dionysius simply gave up on Cassandra because of a family obstacle, but Apollo, angered by Cassandra's excessive decision to die, burned the entire kingdom.

Be the kingdom that was initially painstakingly protected by the father and brother at the cost of their lives, finally destroyed as well, not in the hands of invaders or demons, but in the hands of the slave of love.

However, the plot twist arrives when Cassandra reappears with witch power in her hand and kills Apollo, who is thought to be the source of her life's destruction.

What a tragic story. It all happened because of the stupidity of the father and brother Cassandra who thought that sacrificing their lives for the peace of the kingdom for the happiness of their family life in it was the right action.

It is not the devil the most dangerous creature on earth, but the human greed incited by the devil.

If you think that dying and no longer being able to protect your loved ones by hoping that the country will replace you protecting them is the best course of action, then congratulations, you are a loser like Sister Tius.

No one cares about the fate of our family other than ourselves. Therefore, you do not deserve to think of death and think that the country will replace you to protect them. You have to survive alone to protect your beloved family, even if it has to sacrifice the fate of the kingdom.

I'm not gonna make the same mistake Cassandra's dad and sister did. I will live to protect my own family. However, of course the ideal condition is that we all can live happily together in a peaceful kingdom.

Therefore, I will also realize the peace of the kingdom, of course by never thinking of sacrificing my own life.

I stroked my son as I looked at Ayahanda with a smile of life that showed my determination. I saw Ayahanda respond to that determination and reply with a relieved smile on her face.

He then looked at Albert.

“Only one of my decisions makes me thank him now. Thank goodness that time Father managed to thicken the ears of Ayahanda in the midst of the protests of the nobles so that Father could bring Albert to your side, Son Helios. Albert come!”

By the order of the Father, Albert brought his ear closer to the mouth of the Father. His father then stroked Albert's face while whispering something to him, but I could still hear him clearly.

“Whatever happens, please, son Albert, trust in Helios. Believe in every decision he makes whatever others say in blaspheming him.”

I had no idea it was the last day I could hear Father's voice. The next day, the 15th day of the 8th month of 531 Meglovia Kingdom, Father breathed his last, leaving us with Leon and Sister Tius.
