Chapter 40 – IMPLIED INTENT LEON
The city of Painfinn, which had regained its peace for a month, was suddenly hit again by a wave of monsters. And it was not just any monster, but a living armor monster.
But this is weird.
Dungeons within the monster forest whose location extends in the western region from the northern end of the Vlonhard Empire to the southern end of the Meglovia Kingdom there are 12 pieces. Dungeon undead, ghost, beast, insect, centipede, tarantula, troll, titan, fenrir, lizardman, Milanda, and Arxena.
Each of the dungeons had its own location, but the monster forest located in the Vlonhard Empire and Meglovia Kingdom was clearly separated by a controlling pearl artifact bulkhead.
That was why the monsters that came out of the dungeon located in the Meglovia Kingdom could not penetrate the territory of the Vlonhard Empire, and vice versa.
This is where the strange place is because living armor is one of the product monsters of the ghost dungeon whose dungeon location should be in the Vlonhard Empire. It was impossible under normal circumstances, that monster would be found rampaging in the territory of the Meglovia Kingdom.
But in reality, the monster is now rampaging in this place exactly a few days after Leon's arrival here.

Leon immediately shouted at me while slashing some living armor that managed to climb towards the fortress that looked like it was going to attack me.
His fire aura slash instantly scorched the four living armors that were pointing at me.
This is the power of the extraordinary sword aura that makes Leon more recognized by the military soldiers of the palace than Kak Tius who is more struggling on the problems of social welfare and diplomacy.
Living armor should be a monster that was so hard to defeat that its armor had such incredible magic resistance that an ordinary magic aura attack would not be able to slash through it.
Even Albert who was a level 4 sword master was unable to do so. This was his true strength of a level 5 sword master. If the living armor was not destroyed in a single attack, the monsters would only immediately regenerate back with their high regeneration abilities.
What makes it harder to defeat is precisely the specter that penetrates into his living armor which is none other than the core that makes the living armor move can only be defeated with a pure attack of magic.
In other words, it takes solid cooperation between knights and magicians just to get rid of one living armor.
However, it was nothing in front of the level 5 sword master like Leon whose every attack contained both physical attacks as well as powerful magic attacks.
I directed Albert who was beside me to help Alice down because Yasmin and Nunu here plus Leon's presence were enough to protect me. And after all, I am not a weak person who needs protection.
However, I don't seem to need much more to contribute to the battle. Everything had been taken over by Leon perfectly in directing the city's soldiers.
Leon's experience in leading palace soldiers turned out not to be a figment. I, the prince who had been locked up in a seedy palace, was definitely no match for him.

Then Albert was with the skill of his level four sword master who provided a closing strike since the magic resistance of the monster was no longer high.
Beyond a doubt, Damian and his colleagues were able to defeat monsters with more numbers than the combination of Alice and Albert attacks. All of this can only be of course thanks to Damian's prominent leadership.
More than the combination of the fight between Albert and Alice, there is one more fight on the fortress that does not lose makes me proud. It was Nunu's fight.
Now, he no longer needed to rely on that one-time-use overpower magic. With the magic spear artifact I made for him, he was able to withstand the movement of the living armor monster with his spearmanship thanks to the training from Damian on him at least enough so that the living armor was unable to penetrate the fort's defenses.
But still in the end, the only thing that was able to eliminate the living armor was only the aura of Leon's fire sword. But it had been a significant development for Nunu who had just transformed into a battle mage.
But my brother Leon was really too. He didn't even give me a single monster to miss to let me shine on the battlefield. During that fight, I could only stand by, thanks to Leon and Yasmin's overpowering protection on both sides.
Slowly, no living armor was able to climb the wall thanks to them before they could reach here, they had already been defeated first, either by the combined attack of the Damian team, or Alice and Albert teams.
Less than three hours before the clock even showed at 9 p.m., the fight was over.
Damian who acted as vice-captain of the soldier at that time then reported for the formalities to me after the fight because Alice as the captain of the soldiers while quite injured after receiving many collisions from the living armor. Even as strong as Alice's endurance, it was clear that she would still be injured if she had to face the collision many times that much.

I don't know what purpose Leon said when he had just come for 2 weeks in Painfinn City and he also did not interact much with the figure named Damian, but even without Leon saying so, although there was not a single piece of physical evidence I had found to date, from the beginning I did think the same. Damian is a pretty suspicious figure.
Its existence is so perfect to blend in with the surroundings. Plus it turns out he has enough talent that is prominent, but not too he highlighted. Exactly what kind of spy the Vlonhard Empire trained.

Leon is indeed someone who has strong ambitions who often use what he can use to suppress a figure he considers a rival so can not dwell anymore. But deceit and hasudan is definitely not Leon's way of acting.
I doubt that Leon would say that just to upset my relationship with Damian, Damian is not an important figure to me that is clearly different from the likes of Albert, Yasmin, Alice, or Nunu.
However, I haven't had time to think about it further, suddenly a boisterous voice came from outside. Out of curiosity, Leon and I finally rushed out to check on the situation.
Apparently, what makes a rowdy outside is the figure of Yasmin who just displayed the magic of ‘area heal’ which is very extraordinary in front of the soldiers. With his ‘area heal’ magic, instantly the wounds of all the soldiers in the fortress healed just like that, both light, including heavy ones.
I also became one of the ones he made. I knew that Yasmin was from a sacred temple, so obviously her healing ability would be quite great. But to think that he was this great that he could even heal a soldier of the entire fortress in just one move of the heal area, I could only gape in disbelief.
