Helios showed an expression of complexity on her face after having just penetrated into the memory of one's memory.
His breathing was still irregularly burning as he stood back up after falling down because he could not bear the sudden pressure on his head.
Helios held her still dizzy head and said, “So this is your real goal showing me that memory?”
Of course Helios only received a roar full of anger instead of the answer to the question he threw at Milanda who had long lost her mind which was slowly eroded by time without existence.
“Yeah, but thanks to him as well, I ended up getting about half the answers that all this time made me curious about what really happened in that past.”
Helios showed an expression mixed with anger on her face. He clenched his hands tightly.
“Suspicious spiritual counsel could have something to do with the holy temple in this day and age. If so, it is possible that the prophecy of the tyrant that has made me suffer all this time is also just the result of their engineering.”
Helios looked towards Milanda, a giant woman whose eyes were filled with madness.
It could no longer be observed whether her face was beautiful or not because her entire body was engulfed by the burning red mist.
Helios returned to the memory.
He recalled that there was a part there when the Rizard showed the same characteristics as what had happened to Milanda at this time.
If Helios is not mistaken, it is a process of degradation into a demon. It seemed like, before a normal human turned into a demon, they would suffer such madness first.
What may be the cause is what has been contaminated by something that is not yet known. Unfortunately, Helios did not know in detail about it despite having witnessed it himself in memory.
He recalled what Milanda had done to heal the Rizard who was in the process of becoming a demon.
Helios used her ice ability to hover around Milanda. Thanks to him, he was able to reach the heart of the giant woman's body.
Helios then began to touch it and then flow his mana and mix it into the flow where Milanda.
Initially, the flow of mana that is connected to each other turbulently shows their dislike of interacting with each other which is like when water and oil try to be united.
But slowly, the flow where Helios managed to successfully infiltrate the cracks of the flow where Milanda, then slowly pushed out the impurities contained in the flow where Milanda little by little.
But it's not an easy process. The turbulence and resistance of impurity were enough to have an impact on Helios' body.
Helios had a nosebleed, but she was soon able to improve her condition by lowering the temperature in her body. Thanks to it, the impurities that were initially so turbulent were about to injure the flow of mana Helios, slowly beginning to lose its ability to move again and then eventually becoming a ball the size of a obedient fist.
The impurity slowly continued to grow and enlarge, until at some point of a certain size, Helios removed it from the flow of mana in the body of the Milanda. Helios repeated the procedure several times.
Moments later, the flow where Milanda had returned clean and he was no longer in his crazy condition. Instead, it was the figure of a dignified woman filled with elegance that was visible.
“Thank you, the chosen one for saving me.” Said the figure named Milanda after returning to his graceful form while smiling gently to Helios.
“I don't need that. Now, can you just return me to where my party mates are? I can sense that my city is currently in danger so I must immediately save it.”
Milanda just stared at Helios expressionlessly as if refusing Helios' request.
“I can also feel that demonic energy is starting to reappear on the surface. Precisely because of that, there is one more thing that I must ask of you, O chosen one. Please save the world.”
“What? Saving world? You asked that to someone who received the nickname tyrant from everyone?”
“It seems that a lot of humanity has misunderstood. Righteousness is not the opposite of kindness.”
Helios seemed at a loss for words over Milanda's statement. It is true that the opposite of the word good is not straightness, but evil. But rightness tends to drive humanity to ruin through the arbitrary treatment of rulers.
Arbitrary action is nothing but a picture as evil is defined so it is not wrong for many people in this day and age to misrepresent the definition of rightness as evil itself.
Will that rightness still be interpreted as a crime? Of course it won't happen again. Depending on how a leader applies this attitude, the outcome may be different from what a definition of crime is.
However, can one suddenly be able to resist and twist the already deeply entrenched definition in society? Of course the answer is no.
It takes time to apply. The imposition of the will will only manifest the definition of rightness as evil itself even if the original intention is good.
Seeing the long silent Helios, Milanda continued her words, “I'm sorry, o chosen one. If there is no time left before my power and Arxena will run out, please replace us to become masters of this monster forest to protect the continent, no, this entire world from the threat of the Demon King.”
Helios remained silent, but Milanda continued her plea, “Learn what we have gathered that might help you defeat the Demon King. If it were you, O chosen one, I'm sure you would be able to bring the Demon King to his eternal sleep. I implore you greatly, O chosen one, please save this world from the threat of the Demon King. Only you can do it.”
The giant Milanda then lowered his head as low as possible in front of Helios although his body position could not be lower even though Helios was standing.
Of course Helios did not mind to save the world, especially it was his goal from the beginning to realize a peaceful world. However, his instincts certainly made him wary of something he was unfamiliar with.
“I refuse. I don't know anything about the risks that could happen if I became the master of the monster forest.”
Hearing Helios' answer that was beyond her expectations, Milanda raised her voice, “But if left that way, a time when my strength and Arxena had run out, he said, then all the monsters in the monster forest will be liberated and create chaos throughout the continent that would never be imagined before!"
Helios' empty expression made Milanda instantly speechless.
“Alright, I understand. You just need time to think about it, right? Once upon a time if you are ready to assume the responsibility, come back to this place. For now, I just give you some of my strength just in case you will confront the followers of the Demon King.”
Helios did not respond to Milanda's words, but did not reject them. Milanda sees that as a sign of agreement for now.
Helios, who had the potential of an enormous amount of mana, regained an ancient power that could not be compared with the power that existed in modern times.
It was the power to manipulate magic spells including one's own magic spells, which could either strengthen them or weaken them or even negate them before they were fired.
Milanda then reopened the dungeon door separating Helios from her party members.
“Please go back and defeat the followers of the Demon King, O chosen one.”
“You want to say that what is attacking right now is not from the monster forest, but the Demon King? I can only sense that whichever type they are is the same.”
“It wasn't from us that there wasn't a connection connected to me. If anything, it is connected to the place where the Demon King is sealed.”
“Connections? What connection? I was completely unaware of any of which streams were connected to somewhere.”
“Connections I mean here is not a flow of mana, o chosen one. However, it is not something that can be explained easily.”
Helios sighed and gave up asking further about his time-hunting condition. He began to walk quickly to rush out of the place.
“Wait a minute, o chosen one!”
However, just a few steps, Milanda again intercepted the trip Helios.
“Near you right now there is a woman who looks a lot like me right? You better stay away from him.”
Hearing this, Helios turned back and looked at Milanda's face.
“Why?”
“That's because he's the real witch.”
After hearing the words of Milanda, it seems true the look of anger on the face of Helios who is usually always calm and full of tenderness.
Helios was furious.
