Where did the dungeon come from?
There have been many people in this world who have questioned this before.
Summarized in a short sentence, the dungeon came from an extension of the tower from another world that appeared about ten thousand years ago from the demon world. Or rather it is the warts of the extension of the spiritual roots of the tower in absorbing energy throughout this world until it is finally exhausted.
Yes, about the tower, the concentration of mana in nature is getting thin. If the tower is left for an even longer period of time without ever being eradicated in the future, then one day this world we live in will be destroyed because it runs out of spiritual energy.
Back to the discussion of warts extension of the spiritual root tower that forms the dungeon.
It never appeared on the Continent of Ernoa about the Continent of Ernoa protected by an energy barrier formed from the remnants of the energy of the first hero party gathered by Milanda with the sacrifice of the lives of the five of them now this we know as an arc formation formed by a forest of monsters and five tame dungeons scattered across the edges of the continent that formed a bow-like formation.
As for it never appearing in the Astium Continent it was estimated due to its considerable distance.
There was once a theory that states that the world we live in is actually round rather than flat. That is evident from the first thing we see when a ship lands in port is its top, not the largest part of that ship.
That means actually if we sail even further east to the eastern continent of Asium, one day we will also land on the western continent of the demon continent Armmemis. But no one has ever been able to prove the existence of a thick fog that covers the east of the Continent of the Asium.
Back to the discussion, why is only the Ifrak Continent that often pops dungeons? That is because the distance is quite close to the tower located in the Armtemis Continent, but different from the Ernoa Continent, the Ifrak Continent is not protected by barrier to prevent the emergence of root warts tower.
In other words, the dungeon was actually a means for the tower to absorb the energy in this world. So why did the dungeon break happen? We return to the scheme of how dungeons absorb mana energy in this realm.
Dungeons gave rise to various tantalizing treasures in order to lure the human race which was a potential source of mana spiritual energy into them. Then like an enzyme to destroy chewed food, the monsters in the dungeon appeared. The humans that died inside the dungeon regarding those monsters were then absorbed by it as pure mana energy.
So what if we just ignore the monsters in the dungeon? After all, we finally know that the tantalizing treasure that lies within it is actually just a lure to eat mankind.
The answer is that you can't. Each dungeon has a nerve that responds to hunger for mana.
When it got to the point where this dungeon's hunger peaked, while no food enters his mouth when there are so many foods (living humans containing pure mana) abundant outside, that's where the production of monsters will be abundant which is like we salivate when we are hungry, while smelling a lot of delicious food from the outside.
At that time then happened dungeon break as a response to the hunger of the dungeon to meet the needs of food that is the humans with pure mana energy.
So actually, we can easily cause a dungeon break somewhere if we know the trick. Enough for the dungeons to be fooled by their hunger response. And that's what I'm going to do now. It was quite easy to do so since I understood the concept of runes that Milanda taught me.
I also chose the four dungeon points as the place I would make the dungeon break. I deliberately chose a place far from overcrowding in order to minimize the casualties among the innocent people, but the point of place was vital enough that it was close enough to be located against the capital or some influential noble residence that it would be impossible to ignore by the Maosium Kingdom.
Some familiar I placed around each of the dungeon entrances I chose, then I began to isolate the place so as not to be able to get any more supply of mana from nature. Just for the record, the dungeon could only obtain the energy to be channeled into the tower from which it actively obtained from consuming the dead human body, but to stabilize the dungeon itself, as it was, dungeons could use raw mana from nature.
Thus, the kingdom that has been peaceful from the dungeon break for more than ten years, must finally feel the abyss of despair about the dungeon break.
I had placed Olo and his soldiers there to help the evacuation of innocent people by disguising themselves as mercenaries from the Mugu-Mugu archipelago, where Nunu and Olo came from, to reduce the number of victims.
There is also Nunu who is ready to heal the wounds of people who accidentally involved in the chaos of the dungeon break.
I watched their fight closely through my familiar observations.
But I can't believe that Olo fought against those ferocious monsters much better than I thought.
He also seems to have gotten used to fighting many enemies at once like Albert. But unlike the Albert style that prioritizes defense and more waiting for the enemy to attack first and then attack, Olo's fighting style is more agility and freedom that is adjusted to the style of his trident spear.
The evacuation of the people around was successful and I immediately told Olo and his comrades to retreat once the Maosium Kingdom army arrived to secure the situation there. I saw through my familiar eyes that how Olo and his comrades were being praised for his heroic actions that seemed selflessly to protect the people.
Honestly, I feel guilty about all that as the person who told Olo to help the evacuation of the people there, I was actually the culprit of the emergence of the dungeon break.
However, even if time were to be repeated, I would still make the same decision. I feel sorry for the people of other countries who are victims in my efforts to save the people of my own country. However, that was enough as long as I could save what was important to me, even though I knew that I would bear this sin forever.
The problem with the Maosium Kingdom was resolved, at least for some time. Now I can concentrate fully on my thoughts in order to face the war against the Northern Empire of Vlonhard.
On the 10th day of the 3rd month of the Year 532, when the Southern Empire of Meglovia, the army of the Northern Empire of Vlonhard arrived at the northern border of our empire. Then the war began.
As the commander-in-chief of the war, there was Alcus von Maxwell who led about three hundred thousand soldiers along the border with the Northern Empire of Vlonhard. As a sub-command, there is Vultan littlestar Ignitia, the heir-apparent to the grand duchy of Ignitia, Stephanus van Cabalcus, the grand duke of Cabalcus, as well as several other talented knights we have.
In accordance with the information my familiar had obtained, the imperial army was more concentrated at the border of Lobos City. However it seems that in the Northern Empire Vlonhard, there are also those who have the same abilities as me so that they can prepare formation adjustments immediately in the face of my army's war formation.
The number of their soldiers is also roughly equal to the number of our soldiers, so this will probably be a draw fight. Only, they apparently have not issued their ace, the first order soldier.
I kept my stamina by not going to war for a while and just directing from inside the barracks with Grandpa Roguerdz von Maxwell, Grandpa Glenn van Rodriguez, and Yasmin. Because no matter how great I am in recuperating, there will still be a limit to my stamina that I cannot afford to waste just to face the crocs who number up to three hundred thousand soldiers.
I deliberately kept my stamina to deal with their big boss, too, against that first order warrior. But of course I also always stand by if I see the soldiers need help. But I am sure that my reward to each of those soldiers was enough for them to bring their own battle victory.
As for the reason why Albert wasn't with me today was because I assigned him a special mission with Alice to sneak in with Doctor Minerva to root out the root cause of the first order project.
