Chapter 3 - NOCTURNAL
Monsters.
In the definition of this world, it refers to all kinds of magical beasts as well as humans that are contaminated with magic and lose their ability to control their magic.
An existence that should be nocturnal because exposure to sunlight is able to cause a debuff on their magic output.
And such an existence now actually appears when the sun's heat is still in its blazing state.

Now that we know that it is a centipede monster and the wave of monsters will not end as long as the monster lead has not been defeated, we can prepare the defense more maturely.
“Prices all. I have prepared an Alctus plant for you to place in your respective homes to avoid the same incident repeated if there are centipede monsters that managed to escape our supervision and enter the settlement.”
“Alctus plant is an effective plant in causing interference of touch antenna signal in insects including centipede monsters. It will cause your chances of safety to be greater if there are centipede monsters that return to the settlement residents. So, each of you please obey these instructions by putting one Alctus plant for each house for your own safety.”
I even with tears of blood have been willing to spend very minimal funds in the treasury of the city in order to buy this very expensive Alctus plant for the safety of the city residents. But what exactly was their response,
“Eh, why should we put such a foul-smelling plant inside our house? Don't want!”
“This disgusting plant is as disgusting as the ice tyrant.”
“Basic evil tyrant! All in oppressing citizens!”
As I recall, I had never done anything worthy of being said to be a tyrant. Again just because of that damn prophecy…
