Become Tyrant On My Own Way
Chapter 23 – FOREST EXPEDITION MONSTER (bag. 1)

That morning, Me, Yasmin, and Alice began our expedition's departure towards the monster forest.

Yasmin had almost decided to leave without a weapon. But thanks to my insistence, he ended up choosing at least one weapon to carry with him. It was a kind of spear weapon with one-eyed sharp blades at both ends of its spear.

There was Albert, Jilk, and Curtiz there who also let go of us.

However, less than ten steps into our journey, Albert yelled at me to make a promise that no matter what, he would have saved me if I was in danger while waving a white necklace that he touted as a rare item that only the two of us had was a sign of our bond.

I just smiled silently in response. I chose not to hurt Albert's feelings by deciding to be quiet.

However, after stepping quite close to the monster forest, I also gave the exact same item as the one that Albert had waved before to Yasmin as well as Alice.

A white necklace with the base of a middle-class monster core that I infiltrated and modified with my ice essence. A necklace that has three main functions.

Firstly, giving us a signal of danger to each other if any of the necklace owners who are experiencing a shock flow where the terrible sign that the owner of the necklace is in danger when the necklace breaking instantly would emit a white flare into the air.

Second, for storage of mana reserves if at any time needed when we run out of mana in our bodies.

And the third is as a means of suppressing mana so that monsters that are very sensitive with which will not realize the existence of us who are infiltrating.

The third wave of monsters since I came to Painfinn City, the wave of goblin monsters, had just ended last night indicating that this morning was the peak of the least monsters in the monster forest.

Utilizing that, the three of us chose that time to infiltrate the monster forest.

We were walking at a fast pace down among the trees of the monster forest while I also took the opportunity to pick up rare herbs that I could only get in the monster forest about being rich in thick mana.

Once the oar of two three islands is exceeded, or more or less like that the peribahanya.

Thus, I can make some instant wound healing potions, stomach pains, and, and also until the potion is quite dangerous which gives a delusional effect through the herbs my findings after the expedition in the monster forest.

A few moments into the journey, we finally met one of the monsters in the monster forest. No, it's a herd.

They were silver wolf monsters.

This signified that the fourth wave of monsters that would attack the defensive fortress of Painfinn City were these silver wolf monsters. However as it seemed that the summoning of monsters by the dungeon was still temporarily going on, then for the next few days, Painfinn City would still be safe from the monster wave attacks.

In front of us, there were 6 silver wolves that looked quite violent.

But unfortunately, Alice was not careful so stomped on the tree branch on the ground and the sharp-eared silver wolf immediately noticed our existence.

Or is this indeed one of the effects of the monster curse suffered by Alice so that even my ice necklace artifact that I am proud of was not able to cover its influence.

He floated the great sword towards the silver wolves. But from the beginning, I never expected Alice to defeat those monsters.

The goblins were slower even to the point that none could be slashed, moreover the silver wolves that had far more agility many times than goblins.

However, although Alice is very spoiled as a swordsman, she is very talented as a tanker.

Thanks to the curse of the monster suffered by Alice who was also strengthened by the artifact in her heart, like agro magic, the silver wolves only focused on attacking Alice so that Yasmin easily attacked and eliminated the monsters without the slightest dinotice by the monsters.

I didn't even have to do anything when a group of monsters noticed our presence attacked us. Alice will immediately act as a tanker as well as agro then Yasmin will act as the executioner of the attack.

Deep into the monster forest, the fog that surrounds us also thickens. The thickening of the fog also increases as the night gets closer. Therefore, when the day had been quite night, I also directed the expedition team to take a short break.

Yasmin immediately built the tent she had prepared beforehand in her backpack for the three of us. There are two tents, one occupied by Yasmin and Alice, while the other tent is the largest, occupied by me alone.

I forced to wear a smaller tent only so that the two of them could be more comfortable and free to be in a tent that was larger in size, but both Yasmin and Alice, both of them insisted that I should occupy the largest tent by considering my position as a prince.

Although I argued with them that they would not be too formal in treating me during this expedition, they still insisted. And as expected, I am weak if I have to argue with women who are always good at looking for excuses at the weakest point. Finally, I inevitably relented and occupied the biggest tent.

We slept at night with my familiar so that I could emphasize to them both to sleep comfortably without worrying at all about the task of night shift since everything can be done by my familiar alone.

Or at least, that's what I want them to believe. No one knows this even including Albert, but in fact I, Helios de Meglovia, since receiving the prophecy of tyrant, can no longer feel the so-called sleep.

Hence, when I passed out on the scene with the king of undead, it was actually part of it a gift to me, he said, being able to feel a comfortable sleep after living for thirteen years without getting love from the family again the matter of the tyrant's prophecy.

After the night passed for a while, I saw Alice from behind the tent, out of her tent.

But what he did, made me instantly in disbelief. How could the girl who had been looking so tough that it exceeded the knights of any man, suddenly just cry with a cry like an ordinary girl?

Worried about her, I finally got out of the tent and patted her on the shoulder from behind.

“Alice?” My gentle handkerchief to her.

I chose not to say much and just sat down next to him.

Then in that supportive atmosphere, Alice began to tell her complaints to me that she had never been able to tell anyone.

It's about her past events that are the cause of her greatest trauma that becomes Alice's life-changing turning point.
