Chapter 9 – ATTACK QUEEN LIPAN
At around 4pm, two hours before the sun set, waves of nocturnal centipede monsters once again came out prematurely.
Since this was already the third time that the wave of monsters had attacked with such a pattern, we were used to it so our preparations were quite ready even if the monster wave happened two hours faster than it should have been.
“Albert, are you ready? The success of this mission depends on you.”
“According to His Majesty's orders Prince.”
Albert nodded at me a sign of his determination readiness. I also replied with a nod.
Among the dangerous tasks that exist, compared to Fernand who must be bait, Albert's task in my opinion is the most dangerous since he had to withstand the movement of the centipede queen when Nunu prepared his magic.

Meanwhile, the throngs of monsters began to make physical contact with the infantry. Then a massive defensive-type war was once again waged to protect this city fortress.
Since I was watching the position of the centipede queen with my hidden ice familiar while preparing to direct Nunu in firing his one-time magic, I could not help the fort defense as much as before.
I used a lot of mana to be concentrated with my familiar sense of sight so that I could no longer afford to form an ice fortress that encompassed the entire defensive fortress.
At most, I will help attack if there are sufficiently strong monsters that I feel will be difficult to deal with by ordinary soldiers guarding the upper defense fortress.

The chunks of ice that broke produced a very loud sound as a signal for Albert to immediately move away from the shooting location.
The sound produced by my chunks of ice was so loud that the centipede queen who was the strongest monster that attacked at that time was instantly frozen for a moment about being analyzed by the pain of her auditory senses listening to the sound that was observed deafen.
“Explosion!” Shouted Nunu while releasing the magic he had gathered that he had transformed into a form of fire energy.
It didn't take long for the fireball to reach the centipede queen and hit her with a hammer.
The centipede queen who was unable to escape the heat of Nunu's fire magic immediately melted very pitifully within the flames and in an instant disappeared from the world.
I immediately spread my ice familiar all around to make sure that Albert could actually escape the explosion and how grateful I was so I found Albert who had been on his back with the sound of breathing ngosan on the ground right adjacent to the crater formed by Nunu with extraordinary magic that.
Strategy succeeded. I actually managed to defeat the centipede queen. How I could not help but shout internally for my first victory against the wave of monsters from the monster forest.
A moment later Nunu fainted and I immediately reached for the little girl's body before she reached the ground. Unmistakably, thanks to Nunu's extraordinary talent regardless of the mischievousness of the magic circuit, we and the entire citizens of Painfinn City could be saved from the waves of centipede monsters.
Now all that remains are the usual cockroaches of centipede monsters that have lost their morals once their queen is defeated.
The exception, was just an ordinary monster attack that the fortress defense soldiers had long felt before I even came here. I can leave the rest to them.
Ten minutes before nine o'clock at night, there was no longer a single centipede monster around the fort area. We were finally confidently able to shout out our winning voice.
We also use the remaining time to party even though it is late at night. It showed that how much joy and gratitude the entire citizens of Painfinn City would be for our success in defeating the wave of monsters without the great sacrifice that Duke Rucanthes once experienced.
Even Albert could not escape from a grandfather who kept him in a carefree conversation.
Not only Albert, since that victory, it appears that the treatment of the citizens of Painfinn City has changed little to me. They began to treat me well, despite the tyrant's epithet branded to me thanks to the sacred divination by the holy temple.
