It took me a long time to calm down and explain my situation to my mother. I wonder if it is as difficult as it is to accept that there are talented people with mana to be able to create astral wings out of it? If examined again, wouldn't it be some kind of sword aura when a sword master cuts through his enemy not with the sharpness of metal, but through the sharpness of his astral aura?
Although he looked at me sharply, it seemed that he had finally compromised on my explanation.
From that day on, I started doing medical treatment to Ayahanda. The next day, Albert and Yasmin managed to catch up with me here also by flying, to be exact, Yasmin carrying the body of Albert's heavy bear in the sky with her thin mana wings.
With the arrival of the two of them, the care of Ayahanda became easier. It was because Yasmin was an unexpectedly skilled medical assistant, while Albert was a reliable speaker who greatly assisted in taking care of some troublesome visitors.
Slowly, slowly, father's condition began to improve when he began to replace the intake of sugar that initially used glucose-rich ersey plants into sugar extracted from the juice of gamole plants that are non-glucose and with the implementation of a lifestyle healthy as routine moving hands and feet every morning and evening.
I could not believe that with me becoming a doctor, our relationship, which had initially been strained, slowly returned tightly.
I remember very well Father's advice that night,
“Son Helios, when your brother becomes king, support him well. Don't forget you're looking after Ilene. She was born intelligent, but since she was a woman, it must have been hard for her to interact among the nobles. Be well, you brothers. However, only you can support each other since you have no other family here.”
Ayahanda reminded me of the importance of brother through her tender figure. I was the one who had misunderstood him all along. We rarely meet, doesn't mean you hate me. That is because the affairs of the state are certainly more important than anything.
Smiling with her lips worn out by that age, Ayahanda stroked my hair as gently as when I was a child. For some reason, her touch felt so nostalgic that it calmed my heart as if I was relaxing in the meadow on a cool day.
Not only Ayahanda, now I also often meet with Mother's eyes. He no longer looked at me as if he were looking at an insect. It seemed, my position in his eyes had risen from insect to harmless crow. He at least now let me be around him, even in a vigilant mode. But he never said again to forbid me to be close to him.
The little things just like that have made me very happy.
One day when Mother was in the room with me and Ayahanda, Father said something, “Good move if your brothers at that time no one died, Theia, so that we can live peacefully with our children in Ignitia only.”
Apparently, Ayahanda recalls her past while in the Kingdom of Ignitia. It was a much older story that even I can't remember. Those were the times when Leon was still in his mother's womb and when I was just a year old.
Being only the 28th heir to the throne, Mother was initially released following Ayahanda, the third prince of the Kingdom of Ignitia, to settle in Ignitia after marrying her.
Who would have thought that there would be chaos for a massive throne that left the eleven princes and the other thirty-three princesses dead which left only Mother as the remaining descendants of the king. The mother was forced to return to the kingdom to occupy the position of queen along with her then husband, Ayahanda, as the new king in place of the previous king of the Kingdom of Meglovia.
Thankfully at the time of the bloody event, the mother of the barnaung in the Kingdom of Ignitia so that it can be the only survivor.
It is truly terrible that his name is the throne. Even fellow brothers can kill-kill just to get it. That's how I used to worry that Leon and Brother Tius would do the same. Thankfully, it turned out that all of those things were just their own theatrics.
Although I was still angry both with Kak Tius who planned and Leon who could follow the stupid plan of Kak Tius who ruined his own life, I thought back to the words of Kak Tius.
‘What is the responsibility as a royal family? What is the importance of all that if we can not feel happiness at the end.’
Then, twelve days of time quickly passed. The promised day to meet with the Monk Vindyca Eros has finally arrived.
Since I didn't want to cause unnecessary trouble, I left Yasmin at the palace by just going alone with Albert to meet the head of the sacred temple.
You may not know that Albert was temperamental, but Yasmin was far more temperamental than even ten times that of Albert.
If Albert is angry, maybe I can still control him even with great difficulty since he is now a level 5 sword master. However, I could not guess at all what Yasmin would do.
She was a typical woman who looked to have a gentle and friendly face. But it's all just a trick. When he is angry, he is not a typical person who will first let out his anger through words, but directly with magic.
There was a time when Yasmin still seemed to smile when she was colonized by one of my previous impolite guests, but all of a sudden he floated a magic that almost made the impolite man's arm break.
Well, even though the ends of the man were finally healed by Yasmin himself so that the wound did not work at all, but of course the inner wound felt by the man would no longer be curbed since he had witnessed for himself the arm was almost broken.
Such was the danger of Yasmin, the harmless-looking beautiful woman with her flat expression, but behind it all was hidden a fierce temperament.
Arriving at the central sacred temple, I did not expect that I would be greeted with such fanfare and kindness by everyone considering how they had been treated since I was a child. But, of course it's not a bad thing. One must learn how to forgive.
Albert and I were led by a middle-aged monk who seemed to hold quite an important position in the shrine to see how monks and other sacred servants treated him with respect and courtesy.
Not long after, we arrived at the end of the room which had two very large, magnificent, and beautiful door leaves covered by various jewel ornaments.
As soon as the middle-aged man opened the door, I could see an old fat man wearing a slippery, glittering white outfit sitting behind a table at the very end of the room wearing his giant chain-glasses that unique.
He seemed busy with his work, but when he noticed my arrival, he hurried to his feet and saluted me,
“Honour to the shadow of the number two star of the Kingdom of Meglovia, the second prince Helios de Meglovia.”
Said the grandfather with his meaningful-looking smile.
