Chapter 34 – HATE IS UNFOUNDED
The city of Megdia, the capital of the Meglovia Kingdom, is a pretty crowded place even at night. It could even be said, that place was the place with the most romantic night feel in the entire Ernoa Continent.
That's why, I used that night to take Talia for a short walk before going back to parting with her.

I who did not want to attract unnecessary attention immediately took a stance. Before the five young men made a bigger fuss, I immediately injured their muscles in silence through the taijutsu I learned from my teacher from the eastern continent of Asium. I hurt their vocal cords so they can't scream either.
As a result, they thrashed without a sound then frightened and immediately left the place without the need to make more noise.
After the delinquent left, Talia and I guided the grandfather to a more comfortable place. Talia then immediately treated him with her holy fire magic.
After getting better, the grandfather suddenly struggled with hunger. Seeing that, I immediately brought him food that I could buy from the nearby food stall to give him.
However, the grandfather again complained that his hand hurt so he could not feed himself. I then fed my grandfather directly.
After I answered, the grandfather finally calmed down. However, it only lasted a while. A moment later, the grandfather again complained about something else. However, it was not about his physical state anymore, but rather about cursing the person he hated the most in the Meglovia Kingdom.

I don't know about how the blind grandfather could see my cold eyes. But honestly, the words of the grandfather really opened my eyes that how long I had been so closed that the citizens of the kingdom had misinterpreted my attitude. But what power about the sacred temple always limits my movement here and there if I am in the capital.
My feelings were slightly hurt, but I realized it was not the grandfather's fault that it all arose because of the bad rumors that spread about me throughout the Meglovia Kingdom.
That's why, when I saw Talia about to say something about it to her grandfather, I stopped her immediately. It seems that Talia also immediately realized the complexity of my feelings and decided not to prolong the problem any more.
