Become Tyrant On My Own Way

Become Tyrant On My Own Way
Chapter 184 – BEAUTIFUL DREAMS ALSO THERE IS AN END

I really made my mother worry about the moment I got home, my clothes were in tatters and my hands were scarred as well. I managed to heal my wounds with magic to some degree after being bitten by a centipede monster, but it did not completely remove its marks.

I was really worried that the incident at that time would be the cause of my mother forbidding me to adventure again. Thankfully, my mother said nothing and only helped me recover patiently.

I'm getting used to living in this town. I worked as an adventurer as well as an herbal collector on my way back to the city. And it was really fun.

I see my mother also began to get used to socializing with the people around. Every afternoon after work sometimes I see my mother drinking tea while hanging out with the mothers next door neighbors. It was a peaceful atmosphere I really dreamed of. No hasudan, no political intrigue, no fake smile. All are friendly people.

And without feeling it, three months had passed since I lived in that city.

But sometimes something bothers me, which is my memory. Every now and then, I remember strange memories of myself as a king. It was really silly considering I was just a young man who came from a shabby village. However, it does not only come once or twice, but it comes many times and more and more often and more becomes.

Sometimes in my sleep I delirious the names of others I had never known before. Talia, Luciana, Vierra, Alice, Nunu, Doctor Minerva, Helion, Ruvaliana, Farhaad, Illies, Illios, Ilyaas, all of them were truly names that felt foreign to me.

But of all the things that bother me the most is when I mention the name of a certain person, Albert. I would sometimes cry myself unconsciously. I can't remember who Albert was.

I tried to look deeper into my memory, and as I expected, it was completely fruitless.

Just like the previous days, after breakfast and driving Mom to work, I immediately went to meet my party for an adventure.

There is no useful solution about the dimensional crack that is found at the bottom of the lake in the middle of the forest so that monsters continue to be created and we as adventurers must eradicate it. At least, that is to this day. An adventurer named Sheila claimed to learn the magic of space and time so that it can close the gap of the dimension.

Me and Uncle Surya and the other six of my party colleagues began to wander through the forest area. Once I entered a certain area, how I was shocked because the armor without people in it could move by itself due to the influence of miasma.

We were immediately confronted by the monsters. But again, when I started dealing with those monsters, a memory overlapped in my head. It was not a good memory at all. All I remember in my head was a massacre where my party was almost completely wiped out. No, the size is not as simple as a party. It was more like an army that was fighting against monsters.

Then I saw the back of a certain large-bodied young man who protected me from the front with his super-thin barrier. But I don't know why it saved us.

“Master, you okay?”

“Albert.”

Albert's? Again the name came back through my mouth. And then my head hurt again.

I tried my hardest to endure this headache because I was now dealing with monsters.

I slashed the living armor monsters together with my party members. Unlike the other monsters, the monster was truly almost immortal. The magic attack was only reflected by the armor armor of those monsters. However, when we attacked it with a physical attack and the armor was briefly destroyed, it would immediately regenerate back within a few seconds.

It really got us in trouble. But suddenly, a memory that came from nowhere again crossed my mind. I instantly figured out an effective way to deal with those living armors.

The memory is suspicious because I do not know when I, the young man from this village, met him. But it never hurts to try it because if it fails, my party friends will definitely support me soon, I also try to practice it.

I slipped my sword into the empty armour face and thrust it into the black shadow inside and gave it more strength in my hand to slash it from within. The shadow that enveloped the inside of the armor instantly disappeared along with its armor. And from then on, there was no longer any sign that the living armor would rise again.

I finally found out the weaknesses of those monsters, thanks to the memories that I also did not know where they came from.

“Friends! Use physical attacks to destroy parts of the shadow that are inside the armor. If the shadow was destroyed, the monster would not rise again!”

I told the weakness to the other members of my party and they were quickly able to practice it. Since then, the living armor monsters were unable to get back up and they were quickly able to exterminate us.

As soon as we entered the deepest forest area, we finally found a lake contaminated with miasma that came from a dimensional gap.

Once again a suspicious memory that came out of nowhere came to mind.

“Wait, Uncle Surya, friends, give me a chance to solve this problem.”

Originally the other members of my party would give their maximum buff to Uncle Surya for Uncle Surya to peek into the lake that suspected there was a dimensional crack containing miasma. Uncle Surya was chosen because he was a veteran adventurer among us so that if there were a monster under the water that would sneak to attack, Uncle Surya would be more clever in avoiding it.

But still for Uncle Surya, it was a very careless decision. That's why I took the initiative in replacing Uncle Surya to overcome this.

But of course I will not dive directly into the lake like Uncle Surya would.

I chant my magic spell while flowing a stream of cold mana which is a mixture of wind essence and water vapor. The entire lake froze. The monsters hiding under him were also instantly unable to wrinkle and freeze to death as I pulled out my ‘freeze’ style. Isn't that more efficient than you having to tire of diving into the lake alone to eradicate the monster one by one?

As expected, exterminating his surroundings was the fastest way to exterminate those monsters.

I then with my magic also lifted a chunk of ice from the lake that is not too small but also not too big.

After the water is lifted, a dimensional gap is visible.

As a more experienced person, we leave that to Sheila to follow through.

To close a crack, it required an understanding of portal magic, as well as a good concept of space and time. It took Sheila two days to complete the mission. Meanwhile, during that time, we focused on protecting her from the monsters that were already exposed to miasma.

It was a very difficult and exhausting mission, but thanks to our hard work, everything was completed well.

I also went home. My mother greeted me with a hug and warm food. There is nothing happier than that.

“I'm glad we can live happily in our new place, Bu.”

“That's right, my son. We can continue to live happily in this place for as long as you want.”

I nodded at my mother's statement.

Every good dream, there will be a time to wake up. No matter how beautiful a dream is, it is still a dream. It will never replace the real world.

After a long time in this place, I also realized where the origin of the vague memories that are sometimes engraved in my mind. That is my real life that is so bitter, I try to run from it.

But of course I can't do it. I am a husband, a father, and also an emperor. I cannot leave my wife and children to suffer. Talia, Helion, and the others have long waited for me in the real world to return soon. I cannot disappoint their expectations.

Of course it applies to all my people no matter how much they hate me as their emperor.

If they do hate me, at least I should put an end to this well. I decided to get out of this dream.

It was indeed a pity that I would no longer be able to see such a friendly Mother. It's just, it's just,

“It's time I woke up from this dream, Mom. Thank you for all the wonderful memories that you gave me in this dream.”

“Lios dear, what are you saying? What dream?”

I just smiled at my mom in my dream. He probably wouldn't believe that the world we've been living in was just in my dreams anyway. No, from the beginning I doubted that He had his own will since He was only the embodiment of my alter ego.

“Lios, lest you realize where exactly this strange place that we suddenly came to is? Is this in the dream?”

But the words of Theia's mother next momentarily made me widen my eyes.

If only there was a possibility. If only there was a small possibility that Mother Theia who was in front of me was real.

I woke up from my dream. I found a dark place. I immediately knew that it was within the astral world. But beside me lay Theia's mother.

“Mmm. Lios, have we woken up from that dream?”

That kind mother is still by my side. Nothing is happier than this great gift.

“Mother.”

I immediately embraced Him accompanied by sobs and then He rubbed my head warmly.

“Welcome back, Lios my dear son.” And she flows warmly.
