Chapters 11. Good News and Bad News

Caitlyn arrived at the hospital and she headed straight for the ICU room. He thought the stranger must have been taken there because he was still in a coma and needed intensive care. However, Caitlyn meets a nurse and asks for the whereabouts of Doctor Vargas.

“Not inside? Em, can you tell her where, well, Sus?” ask Caitlyn.

Inwardly he followed Lean who had unintentionally troubled him like this morning. If only the phone had not been tampered with by him, perhaps by this time Caitlyn had already met Doctor Vargas without getting lost and wondering.

“He seems to be handling a newly transferred patient earlier mal–”

“Where is that patient room, Sister?” caitlyn asked quickly, cutting off the nurse's words.

Caitlyn's tone sounded so urgent that the nurse looked at her in surprise.

“You're a patient's family, Miss?” ask the nurse.

Without a doubt Caitlyn agreed steadily. “Iya's right, Suter. Please tell me where the room is?” Caitlyn again urged.

The nurse then told me where Dr. Vargas and the stranger were. Caitlyn thanked him and took a quick step towards one of the VVIP treatment rooms at the hospital.

Arriving at the door of the room, Caitlyn knocks on the door and is opened by the nurse she paid to take care of the stranger.

“Oh, Good morning, Miss. Let's please come in!” said that suter.

Caitlyn nodded with a smile and stepped in. There he could see clearly if the foreign man without identity was still at home in his long sleep.

He turned to the doctor. “Again, Doc. How's development? Already in-MRI and CT scan, ‘kan, Doc?”

Doctor nodded. “Already, Miss. And here's the result.”

Doctor Vargas handed Caitlyn the sheets of paper. For a moment he looked at the writings listed there and tried to understand, but his brain was not capable enough to do that.

“Please explain what this means, Doc? I don't understand this,” said Caitlyn without hesitation.

Doctor Vargas took back the papers and explained one by one the medical writings. Caitlyn nodded her head as she began to understand.

“So doctor's intent has there been progress in this regard?” caitlyn asked with a happy twinkle.

Doctor Vargas smiled and nodded. Don't ask Caitlyn what Caitlyn was like at the time. She could not wait to see the man wake up and tell him everything. That moment had been very long awaited by the beautiful woman who would soon bear the status of the Widow.

“I am sure that the patient will soon wake up and wake up from his long sleep in the near future. Keep hoping, Miss, because your struggle and effort will spend a little more sweet fruit,” the doctor said.

Caitlyn smiled happily and left the doctor and approached the stranger there. “Whoever you are, I believe that you are a good person. I hope you wake up soon and grant my every wish, Mr. nameless. Please, help me! Please appreciate what I've sacrificed all this time, Mister!”

Caitlyn spoke while clenching both hands on her chest. He hoped that even in his sleep, may the man without identity hear it.

After a long conversation with the doctor, Caitlyn decided to go home to Saskia's apartment. Once out of the ward, Caitlyn tidied up her appearance by wearing a hat covering her face, then walked quickly towards the basement.

“Huh, hopefully Aunt Sani will no longer follow me,” Caitlyn said as soon as she got into the car. The woman covered her face with both hands while raising her head. “A little more. Patience, patience. Soon,” he added and immediately get ready to run the car.

Caitlyn then recounted the information she got today from the doctor regarding the development of the unidentified master.

“I'm happy, Ly. Hope everything is quickly resolved and you are also quickly divorced with Lean.” Saskia commented.

“Definitely, Ki. Thanks for the support, Beb.” The two embraced like Teletubbies.

A week passed quickly and the day Caitlyn was waiting for arrived. The woman continued to wait for news and calls from Lean but until nightfall, there were no messages or calls from her.

Caitlyn's upset. The man should have arrived at home and they could have met, then managed the divorce as soon as Lean had promised before leaving a week ago.
