Behind The Divorce

Behind The Divorce
Chapter 41. Hate You But Love You Too

Lean went into the room and ravaged the entire room. Whatever was in front of him, he destroyed it at will. It also can not reduce the pain of his heart because of the wounds inflicted by the father and also Caitlyn.

There were no more how many things were broken, broken, and scattered in the room. Lean doesn't care. His madness paused as the ringing of the cell phone rang out.

Initially Lean did not want to take it and did not want to see the call from whoever it was. But the ringing kept ringing, prompting him to confirm who the phone was.

He reached into the phone in his pants pocket and found a picture message from an unknown number. Lean's blood boiled again as soon as he saw the contents of the message. He almost slammed his phone, but the square flat object rang again with a call from the same number, holding Lean in action for a moment.

Not waiting for long he immediately shifted the green icon on the screen and received the call.

📲 “Baji*ngan! What do you mean by sending that photo, huh?”

The sound of laughter on the other end of the phone made Lean want to beat him up.

📲 “Just want to resuscitate and remind your position now, bang. So it's clear here that who should step back and who deserves better next to him.”

A calm voice full of confidence as if belittling a Lean.

📲 “Breng*sec! Stop calling. And I suggest never to appear before me if you still want to live.”

📲 “Quiet only, bang. My only goal is to be together and have your wife instead of meeting you.

Lean immediately disconnected the phone call because the heat entering through the ear, spread to her heart. So hot, Lean slammed her phone with all her might.

"Arrrghhh! Breng*sek!” Lean screamed as she grabbed her hair in frustration.

Still hot, Lean stepped into the bathroom and turned on the shower. He then stood under the water with his face up and his hands supporting the wall.

As Lean closed her eyes, the image of two people smiling brightly at the photo that Nathan had accidentally sent out flashed in her mind.

“Baji*ngan! You traitors, breng*sek!”

Lean shouted loudly while banging on the wall before her. Under this water, Lean was free to cry because no one would see, not even hear. Even if there is, it is impossible to distinguish where the crying and where the patter of the air shower.

“I hate you ... really, really hate you .. but I also love you so much more than that, breng*sek! Why did you betray me? Why?”

Again and again Lean hit the wall in front of her until the back of her hand spewed out fresh blood that was now pouring onto the floor. For about two hours, Lean calmed herself down under the cold water.

The man came out of the bathroom and walked towards the walk in closet and changed his clothes. The current time is 10:00 PM. Lean grabbed the car keys and rushed out of the room. When he opened the door, Lean was silent for a moment in her place as soon as she saw the father who was also standing before her.

While in the bathroom, Lean did not know that the middle-aged man was waiting for her.

“I'm not your son. I'm just my mother's child who's gone.”

After cutting off his father's words, Lean was about to leave, but Hadya held him back.

“You can be angry with papa. Papa take that, Lean. But you should know that in Caitlyn it–”

“Do not mention his name again. I don't want to hear about him and don't want to know him anymore.

Again Lean stopped her speech and stepped away from there. Not staying silent, Hadya also chased after him.

“Lean, wait! You just misunderstood me, son. Don't be childish like this! Listen papa, Lean.” Hadya continued to speak behind her, but Lean did not budge in the slightest.

“The fetus in Caitlyn's womb is your son, Lean. Blood your flesh!”

Lean's steps stopped, but did not turn around. Hadya who saw that felt she had a chance to explain again.

“You didn't ask her about how old she is now. You should do that before getting angry and accusing without knowing the truth. Your accusations really hurt him, Lean.” Hadya pressed down on each of her words in a low tone.

Lean had no intention of retaliating, even saying anything to justify, or to blame, her father's words. Nor does he want to justify himself with all that. He stepped back and passed from there.

The cries and sayings of Hadya are no longer powerful to hold him back.

“Trust equally papa, Son. Don't let me regret this one day! Papa told you and warned you first,” said Hadya when Lean got in the car and prepared to run it.

Ignoring all the father's talk, Lean pulled the gas pedal and drove out, almost late at the time. Lean's departure, leaving a pile of anxiety and worry for Hadya. The feeling of the middle-aged man was suddenly uneasy.

What's he gonna do?

Hadya immediately contacted her men to follow where Lean was going at the time. Not until five minutes, Hadya got word if the son drove his car to the Blue– Garden where he met Caitlyn three years ago.

Hadya did not want to keep quiet, she immediately followed where her son went. Hadya was really worried right now.

“Do not until he makes a mistake. Help me to stop it, Jeanice!”
