Chapter 34. Hadhey was Threat

Hadya walked back and forth in the same room that was still the– that was used to seal Saskia. The middle-aged man had not yet returned from there, having freed Saskia from the deeds of his son.

He repeatedly contacted Lean, but her call has not been answered. Not giving up, Hadya still tried until the twilight passed and the dark gradually ruled the earth. Hadya was worried that her son was hurting her daughter-in-law. Moreover, he clearly knows that there is currently Nathan with the beautiful pregnant one.

Imagining the anger of Lean seeing the presence of other men there, really made Hadya so worried. Once again, Hadya touched the screen displaying Lean's name and phone number, then contacted her again while pacing back and forth.

Hadya's steps and movements only stopped once Lean answered her phone.

📲 “Where are you now, Lean?”

To the point once the call is connected. Just like his son, Hadya was not good at small talk.

📲 “Lean sure papa already knows where Lean is now.”

Sounded relaxed without sin his tone of speech.

📲 “Lean, papa just wants to warn you. Never hurt Caitlyn, let alone be rude to her!”

There was a heavy sigh of Lean in Hadya's ear.

📲 “Alright, pa. But if he doesn't want to come with Lean to see grandma, ya–”

📲 “Do not force it, Lean! Whatever your goal is to get there, never force or do something that will only hurt you! Don't make papa angry, Lean!”

An annoyed whisper escaped Lean's mouth hearing various threats and harsh warnings from her father.

📲 “Papa why, anyway, pa? I feel protective of that woman. Is he ready, papa? Lean, loh, papa's son not thought of Lean's feelings at all.”

Hadya rubbed her face for a moment and then controlled her emotions. She's realized it's been too hard on her son lately.

📲 “She's also papa's daughter just like you, son. Believe me, soon you will understand with this papa attitude, Lean.”

Hadya softened on her son and it made Lean speechless. That's how Lean, if faced with anger and violence, he will give the same thing. On the contrary, if he faced himself gently, he would also soften.

📲 “Meet him, but remember papa's message earlier.”

Hadya also hung up her phone call, then rushed to leave the place which turned out to be another luxury house owned by the Sanjaya family.

Meanwhile, at Caitlyn's place, local time shows at 07.30 pm aka half-eight pm. This day Caitlyn was so happy and did not feel lonely because there was Nathan who accompanied her.

They did a lot of things together that day. Starting from breakfast together, tell a lot of things while Nathan makes lunch according to the request of a pregnant woman. Watching while laughing together, making Caitlyn's favorite cake, until now they are having dinner together. Nathan really made Caitlyn look happy all day.

“Tomorrow to come again, no?” ask Caitlyn on the sidelines of her eating.

“Hmm, wait.” Nathan seemed to think. “Kalo so I resign from the hospital and apply for your cooperation as a chef how?” it was serious but it sounded ridiculous.

Caitlyn laughed when she heard it. “Oh, helow .. Dear doctor would like to resign just to be my chef? I, really, really want to but not ah,” said Caitlyn while shaking her head later. That smile on that pretty face never faded all day.

“Loh, why, Madam? Does my cooking not meet the standardization of your tongue? I will work even harder,” Nathan said jokingly and that again made Caitlyn laugh.

“Not really, Doc. But your hand is better suited to holding a stethoscope than holding a spatula. So, you do not need to resign from the hospital because obviously you I refused to be a chef.” Caitlyn was joking.

Nathan nodded as he put the last mouthful into his mouth. “So, yes, Madam? Then that's it .. I want to call Madam, deh.”

This may sound like a joke in Caitlyn's ear, but Nathan's face explains that he was serious about the words.

Caitlyn still smiled and gulped down the water in her glass. “Application rejected.” Laugh after you finish drinking water. “Stop your jokes and there go home. My cheeks have been cramping from earlier.” Holding both of her tired cheeks laughed.

“But I'm ser–”

Nathan's words stopped and the two looked at each other as soon as they heard a knock at the front door.

“Who?” nathan asked Caitlyn in a very slow voice.

Caitlyn pressed her shoulder. “Testing. Nattar I saw first.”

Just about to stand up and step up, but Nathan prevented it.

“Let me just, yeah. Lu wait here.”
