Chapters 16. What's Wrong with You

Lean returned to the room after finishing her phone call. The man then asked the results of Doctor Andra's examination of his wife.

“Sorry, Doctor, may I repeat again? So what's my wife sick, Doc?” lean asked with both hands placed in his pocket.

The man looked at Doctor Andra and waited for an answer. However, his forehead frowned at the doctor who looked silent. Lean turned to glance at Caitlyn, but the woman also appeared silent and seemed indifferent. Caitlyn even turned her face somewhere else.

“Doctor Andra? I was asking,” said Lean with a confused face.

“Ah, yes. Mr. Lean. Miss Caitlyn ..” The doctor hung up his sentence and glanced at Caitlyn for a moment. Right now the woman was also looking at him expectantly with a pleading gaze. “Nona Caitlyn is fine, Sir. There is nothing serious about his condition. Miss is just too tired and a lot of thought. I will prescribe the drug and then miss just need a lot of rest,” explained Doctor Andra.

Caitlyn closed her eyes and immediately breathed a sigh of relief, while Lean only nodded in understanding. From the look on his face, it was clear that the man seemed relieved by the answer given by the doctor. That means he no longer has to worry about Caitlyn's condition.

Not long after, Doctor Andra said goodbye from there. However, before he actually left, he gave Lean a piece of paper with a prescription and also an important message that made Chairman Sanjaya of the Group look confused.

“Please do not stress the lady and her diet should also be maintained! Excuse me, Mr.” Doctor Andra turned to Caitlyn then smiled and nodded as if to signal that everything was fine. “Nona, I'm sorry, good afternoon.”

“Good day, Doctor, thank you!”

Caitlyn smiled and waved at Doctor Andra. His friendly attitude like that got a sharp glare from Lean. But Caitlyn did not care. He instead returned Lean's gaze with a puff and rolled his eyeballs lazily.

Lean then escorted Doctor Andra out, while Caitlyn looked down at her stomach which was blocked by clothes. His hand reflexively raised and stuck to the still flat part there.

“Ha-hai,” greet Caitlyn nervously at a small creature that very likely has grown in her womb. “You are here again?” The pretty woman's eyes were glazed. “I .. I don't know whether to be happy or sad about your presence. But one thing you must know is that I don't want to lose you a second time. I will protect you from their greed. I promise you'll stay safe!” caitlyn's promise to herself as well as to the tiny creatures that very likely have lived in there.

He then remembered Saskia and Nathan. “Ah, so they both know. Pantes aja really make to the hospital.” He smiled while shaking.

“Hah, look! What's wrong with you? You were so happy to see Doctor Andra's face even smiling sweetly at her. But now you don't even like seeing my face? What the fuck are you?” Lean began to sound the drums of war.

Not wanting to respond, Caitlyn chose to lay her body down and sleep. It's not that easy, Caitlyn. Sure enough, Lean came and pulled over the blanket that covered the abdomen to the foot of Caitlyn's level. It was really a test of patience but Caitlyn still tried not to rub it.

“Caitlyn, I'm talking to you!” exclaimed Lean who seemed to ignore the doctor's message recently.

Caitlyn clucked softly with her eyes still closed. “Talk it, I hear it.”

“Talk it open your eyes and look at me. I've noticed lately you've been being disrespectful to me. I seem to have been too kind to you all along. Yes, ‘kan?” Lean slightly bowed with both hands placed on the lip of the bed to support her weight.

Caitlyn snorted and opened her eyes. “What's wrong? Sucks who are.” He got up from his sleep and was about to come down. “Sana watch out!” A little pushing Lean's body in the way.

Lean straightened her back and slightly moved away from the way Caitlyn was about to give way, but seeing a flat face that seemed to care nothing for her made Lean emotional.

“Don't be rude to you, Devil woman! I am still your husband. Save this brashness of yours until the divorce process is over!” lean said with great emphasis.

Caitlyn who had just stepped up just then was suddenly startled once her arm was pulled firmly by Lean. Caitlyn almost fell backwards, thankfully the big bed there supported her. Caitlyn immediately sat down with her heart pounding irregularly and a hand that reflexively held her stomach.
