Behind The Divorce

Behind The Divorce
Chapter 38. Who is Pregnant?

Lean was really just watching and accompanying Caitlyn breakfast back then. Many times Caitlyn asked her to try, many times she still refused.

“To try your cooking alone I was so scared, let alone eat in a place like this.”

That was the reason Lean said. Caitlyn only laughed faintly at the expression. He remembered very well when Lean was so afraid of being poisoned by him. Every dish or drink that Caitlyn provides, don't expect her to touch it. Trauma traps Caitlyn with a glass of vodka, always ringing in Lean's memory.

After finishing the meal, Caitlyn and Lean immediately left, stepping back together towards Caitlyn's house. Just like when they left, they were silent all the way home.

Arriving in front of the fence of Caitlyn's house, Lean stops her steps and lets Caitlyn enter by herself.

“Why? How, don't want to enter?” ask Caitlyn confused.

Lean looked at him flatly. “If you allow it,” reply Lean while spreading her shoulder.

Caitlyn snorted and turned and went with the scolding that made Lean finally laugh.

“Tumben sok ask permission all. Usually also play nyelonong, breakthrough does not use rules. As good as if you want to do anything, do not think people's feelings. Today suddenly remembered the tatakrama. Wrong eat times he.”

Lean followed him from behind while remaining silent at the woman's chattering. He clenched his mouth tightly, holding back the laughter from escaping. Arriving inside the house, Lean stood in the living room while Caitlyn went straight to the room and changed the hoodie she was wearing.

“Not polite, guest left standing,” Lean's whistle.

The man circulated his gaze sweeping across the minimalist house. There were some things he knew were definitely gifts from his father. The label contained in some furniture there, he recognized it was a product of a subsidiary owned by Sanjaya Group.

“Somewhere papa notices you,” muttered Lean while nodding her head.

“Papa Hady, ‘kan, indeed the best papa of the century,” said Caitlyn who now stands behind him.

Lean turned around and found Caitlyn's sweet smile there. The woman then invited him to sit down.

“You're not hungry? I will make breakfast for you as payment for accompanying me this morning,” bargained Caitlyn.

Lean shook her head and Caitlyn guessed that the same reason was still her consideration.

“Come on, throw away your silly thoughts .. hmm, Mr Sanjaya!” Caitlyn was afraid to say her name. “You can follow me and make sure of my own work. I know you're hungry, Tu .. an.” Caitlyn let down her tone and gave a little pause when she saw Lean's gaze change.

“Forward again,” command Lean. Shitty mode starts on.

“Hmm?” Caitlyn's confused.

“Forward your call earlier!” lean's orders a second time.

“Master?” caitlyn asked innocently and it worked to make Lean look upset. “Dear Mr. Sanjaya. So–”

Caitlyn was unable to continue her words because Lean, who had suddenly stood before her so close, was only a few pauses away. The man's warm breath made Caitlyn freeze.

“Why?” lean asked in a low tone. “Why call me that? Is that as I am in your eyes now?” Caitlyn looked up then returned Lean's gaze and shook her head.

“You yourself asked for that. Did you forget?” Caitlyn asked in a low tone.

Lean clucked in annoyance. “That only applies when I'm angry, Caitlyn. Do you see me angry now?”

“Stay I'm afraid that I say your name and you will be angry.” Caitlyn looked down again.

Again Lean clucked. “That's just your excuse because you hate me, ‘kan?” Turn around and sit back to where he was, while Caitlyn still stands.

“No, that's not true! I was just following your request at that time ..” Caitlyn moved from her seat and now stands in front of Lean.

“Already, I know and realize that I'm not that important right now. All that matters to you now is Nathan and Nathan. Yes, yes .. I–”

Caitlyn lowered her head and instantly shut Lean's mouth using both of her hands.

Lean removed Caitlyn's clot from her mouth. “Can't! Because he's the only one who's always been in your brain. He's the one you always call so sweet. Nath, Nuth, Nath, Nuth!” lean protested with a poignant tone and a funny expression.

Suddenly, Caitlyn's laughter just came out. “Already. Come, I will cook for you as an apology, Mr. Sanjaya.”

Lean growled in annoyance. “Caitlyn, once you call me that, I will really punish you.”

Caitlyn straightened her back and folded her hands on her chest. “What can you do. I will complain about your actions with papa if–”

Caitlyn was suddenly speechless with her eyes breaking as soon as Lean stood up and silenced her mouth. It was only a few seconds, but it was able to paralyze his entire bone. Like a powerful electric current that stings him, until the blood flow throughout his body feels hot.

“Same as papa. Please, Miss Caitlyn.”

Without any sense of sin at all, Lean immediately left Caitlyn and stepped towards the kitchen. It is not difficult to find a cooking area because the size of the house is minimalist and easy to reach.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn only regained consciousness after a few seconds Lean disappeared from before her.

“Leaaaannnnn!”

Elsewhere, in a hotel room. Nathan was tidying up his stuff to get back to town. His attempt last night to return to Caitlyn's house, failed miserably due to Lean's rapid movements.

“Breng*sec! What the fuck, anyway, is that him? Don't you want a divorce? Why look for it again? Not exactly clear,” grumbled Nathan.

“Sabar, Nathan. There's still plenty of time. Be calm, soon to be divorced and Lily will be yours.” Nathan smiled slightly as he stroked his jaw from Lean's punch last night.

“If he still gets in my way, I know who to ask for help. Hah, sometimes you have to be reckless and a little deviant to be able to achieve your goals. What a useful teaching.” Nathan laughed again as he stepped out of the hotel room.

Lean can only eat quietly after monitoring and watching for herself how Caitlyn works. For a second his eyes did not want to move anywhere. Let there not be the slightest reproach for Caitlyn to poison her. What a ridiculous thought.

“Enak?” ask Caitlyn to make sure.

Lean nodded. “Lumayan ... for starving people like me.” Oh, Caitlyn wanted so badly to strangle him with that answer.

“Successful,” sahut Caitlyn with lazy.

“But I still want to thank you for bothering to make it.” That face was a pain in the first place when he said it, and Caitlyn could only snort in annoyance. “By the way, you know my purpose for coming here?” lean asked afterwards and Caitlyn shook her head in response. “Grandmother is sick and just wants to see you. He doesn't want to meet anyone even I'm his favorite grandson.” Lean finished her meal.

“You're serious?” Caitlyn shocked.

“When do I lie, hm? You know that's not my field.” Answering while standing and then carrying his old dinner plate to the dishwasher which is only a few snails from the dining table.

“No, Lean. Just let me. Go back to your place,” prevent Caitlyn. “Just explain first, does granny pain severe?” More curious about Grandma Sanju's condition.

There was no response from Lean. The man looked down and picked up something from inside the trash can nearby. He then read the writings printed on the objects he held.

“Susu for pregnant women?” he muttered, but could be heard by Caitlyn.

The man reread the writing on the used cardboard he was holding, alternately looking at Caitlyn's face with a questionable look.

“Who is pregnant? Ye? Answer me Caitlyn, are you pregnant?” lean was impatient. The man's heart suddenly beat erratically.

Caitlyn stammered, either having to answer the question or not.
