Chapter 22. Packages

Beyond Lean's expectations, Saskia retreated her steps quickly then slammed the door in front of her. The man closed his eyes with a tightened jaw holding back emotions.

Patience, Lean ….

Lean took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. The man tried to control his emotions desperately. After feeling calmer than before, Lean again rang the bell of Saskia's apartment.

Once, twice, three times, four times, to the fifth time, the door of the apartment did not open. Lean rubbed her face violently after which she started pounding on the apartment door in front of her.

“Saskia, I don't want to disturb your composure. I'm just here to see Caitlyn. Let me in for a minute!” lean said a little loudly.

There was no reply from inside. “Caitlyn! Please open the door. I want to send you a message from Grandma. Caitlyn, we need to talk!”

No longer calling Saskia, this time the name Caitlyn she was calling. Lean was still trying to call the two women inside there in turn while her hands were actively knocking on the door.

“Are you not thinking about Grandma's health? Grandma is waiting for you at home.” Gedoran Lean grew louder as her impatience began to flare. “Caitlyn! Again you are not also out–”

“What? What do you want my best friend, the venerable Mr Sanjaya?”

Lean's speech came to a halt with Saskia's welcome at the door. The girl stood leaning against the doorpost while staring at Lean lazily.

“I won't do anything to him. I just want to talk to him for a minute. Please call him,” Lean said in a commanding tone.

Saskia clucked and replied lazily, “He's a mace.”

“Please, don't force me to be rude!” lean said firmly.

Saskia's lazy face changed sangar heard Lean's sentence just now.

“And please, don't make me angry and say rude same lo. If not for the promise of the same cave a.. forget it and please leave here immediately!”

Saskia almost revealed the facts about Caitlyn's pregnancy. Fortunately he was still able to restrain himself so emotions did not destroy all of his efforts over the course of yesterday.

Meanwhile Lean who had exhausted her patience, immediately pushed slowly Saskia's body and barged in just like that. The man then called out to Caitlyn repeatedly like a madman. He no longer cared if it was almost too late and he was in someone else's house.

Saskia is shocked and wants to be angry but again she remembers her promise to Caitlyn and the future niece. He lets Lean ruffle through the whole place as she pleases the man. Saskia chose to sit quietly on the living room sofa with both hands folded.

Although still in place, but Saskia's eyes move following a similar motion and step Lean there. Every now and then he would shake his head looking at the brutality of that annoying guy.

“How come Lily can fall in love with a human gini model, anyway? Beautiful yes, but not make happy and comfortable for what try? Long can die young. Lily ... Lily, good thing you asked for a divorce.” Saskia murmuring.

“Where is he?” lean asked with a hunting breath.

Saskia did not reply but instead stood up and walked towards the door.

“Lu already proved himself he's a mace, ‘kan? Now get out of this place because I also don't know where he is now,” denied Saskia.

“I know you're lying, Saskia. Enlightenment please. This is your personal business and that of my best friend. So don't interfere!” Lean suppressed his words.

“Yes if you do it yourself, dong. Doesn't he have to involve me? Find it there somewhere else, no equal business I'm here. Know lu? Now also I ask you out, GET OUT!” shouted Saskia who was already emotional.

Not waiting long or commanding a second time, Lean immediately walked out quickly. However, still the man did not believe what Saskia had said. It was highly unlikely if the girl did not know about Caitlyn's whereabouts. They are like the moon and stars that always go hand in hand at the same time.

That night Lean decided to go home. She will meet her grandmother even though she is not ready. However, Lean chose to live out all the consequences. He does not want to keep running away from life's problems.

He thought, he would talk to Grandma Sanju and give understanding to the elderly woman to give her time to look for Caitlyn again.

The next morning Lean got up early and got ready for the office. However, before that he wanted to see the state of his grandmother first. Lean came in and found her grandmother still asleep.

“Excuse Lean, Grandma. Lean can't bring Caitlyn here yet. Love Lean time to look for her again. Lean promised to find Caitlyn soon. Patience well, Nek.”

Lean kissed Grandma Sanju's forehead after which she immediately came out. As soon as Lean disappeared, Grandma Sanju opened her eyes. The woman wakes up and pretends to be asleep.

“Why are you being mean to her, Lean? Grandma saw love in your eyes, but why is there no love from your words? It's not Grandma who will lose it but you alone, Lean.”

Meanwhile Lean who was at the door was about to leave for the office, her steps were held back for a while when a servant came to her and brought a small package.

“Good morning, Sir. Sorry, there is a package for you.” The waiter lowered his head and handed the small package to Lean.

Lean received it and walked to the garage while opening the package. As the small box opened, Lean gasped in shock at the irregularly pounding heart.
