Behind The Divorce

Behind The Divorce
Chapters 12. Nathan Meet

Caitlyn was speechless and even stunned to hear Lean's words on the other end of the phone. I don't know why Caitlyn's knee suddenly limp as if unable to stand on his own feet. His mouth wanted to open and answer Lean's words, but he couldn't do that.

The woman was still faithfully silent, even the phone call had been terminated she did not realize it. Caitlyn just wanted to tell you about Grandma Sanju, but what she saw on the phone screen, the call was over.

Caitlyn immediately ran to the room and closed the door. She leaned her body against the door and cried silently with her eyes closed. Just got home, but the dramas haven't ended yet. Sanju's suddenly sick grandmother, Sania who still demeans him, and divorce are now in sight.

The woman was confused with herself. Wasn't this the answer he had been waiting for from Lean? Why did he have to face her with tears? Caitlyn is at war with her common sense as well as her inner self.

Slowly he opened his eyes and looked around. The room was still the same as the last time he left a week ago. Ah, she missed this place, but she will also leave it soon. Caitlyn was crying more and more, but she suddenly remembered something.

His hand was raised to wipe away the tears, then he stepped quickly towards the large bed that looked empty and tidy. He then dropped the bag while he held it on the bed and immediately unpacked all the contents of his bag. His eyes were fixed on the wallet which was now chuckling and scattered on the bed.

Caitlyn opened it and took out all the cards Lean had given her. Next Caitlyn stepped towards the walk in closet and placed the cards together with the various types of expensive jewelry that Lean bought for her. Everything he put in one box and he keeps it in his wardrobe.

The branded goods he bought using Lean's money all along, he didn't want to take in the slightest. Caitlyn felt it was inappropriate to use it after this, even being Lean's wife once, it felt just as inappropriate because they were married just a trap drama that Caitlyn made.

“Let's get ready for this, Ly. This is not the end of life, but it will be a new beginning for you.” Encourage yourself, that's what Caitlyn is doing.

As soon as lightning he changed his clothes and also prepared important files that he would need in the religious court later. As she was about to step out, Caitlyn once again swept the room with a look of longing. Embed every corner of the room in his heart and memory so he could always remember.

He was determined that this was the last time he set foot in the house. No need to wait until you knock the hammer. Didn't Grandma Sanju and Hadya already know? Putting aside the conscience of the ailing grandmother, Caitlyn steadied her step out of the house. He didn't even use the car in the garage. So he ordered a taxi waiting at the gate.

“Sorry, Miss, why not use the car? Need I call the driver, Miss?” a guard asked as soon as he saw Caitlyn by the gate.

The woman smiled and shook her head. “Thank you, Sir. But there's no need. I want to take a taxi today,” replied Caitlyn.

Next he asked the guard to open the gate and it turned out that the taxi he ordered arrived. Caitlyn said goodbye to the guards there and she got into the taxi and passed from there.

“Where, Neng?” ask the driver.

“Ke ... briefly, well, Sir.” Caitlyn did not continue her sentence because of the annoying ringing of the phone.

📲 “Napa, Ki?”

📲 “Can I go back to my place? Someone is waiting for you here.”

📲 “Who is it? I will be back from the religious court. Lean wait for me there.”

📲 “Oh, have you returned him? Okay, if that's how you solve your problems. Good luck, beb.”

📲 “Tinkyu, Ki. See you.”

The phone connection ends with Caitlyn's mind now wondering who's in Saskia's apartment.

“So this we go to the religious court, well, Neng?” ask the taxi driver again.

“Ah, Mr nguping yah?” Caitlyn asked while chuckling. “Iya, Sir. To the religious court,” he replied.

The driver chuckled. “Sorry, Neng. Father accidentally.”

“Gak papah, Sir.”

Once there, Caitlyn put on sunglasses before getting out of the car, covering her eyes. He walked slightly down and when he was about to enter the building, the two passed each other.

“Oh, sorry, Mr. Arga.” Lean spoke to the man who was her lawyer. He then turned to Caitlyn. “Just give me your files later my lawyer will take care of it. You brought it, ‘kan?” ask Lean.

Caitlyn nodded and immediately handed over the files she had prepared from home with her hands trembling slightly.

“Ok, you just wait for the call.” Whether true or not, but Caitlyn caught the look on Lean's face that seemed to avoid her. “Go home first.”

Lean thought Caitlyn would still be home until the verdict from the court. Therefore, after saying that he was about to step into the building but Caitlyn's voice held him back.

“Lean! Granny–”

“Let's go home, yeah. I have to finish this as soon as possible because there is a meeting in 3 hours.”

Lean passed from there without being prevented by Caitlyn. Inevitably, he turned around and left the place to go to Saskia's apartment.

Thirty minutes away, Caitlyn arrived at her destination. How shocked he was to see who Saskia meant on the phone.

“Nathan!” screech Caitlyn with glee.

As fast as lightning he was about to step over to the man but suddenly his head was dizzy and heavy, then his gaze darkened.

“Lily!”

Saskia suddenly shrieked loudly calling out Caitlyn's name as soon as the woman's body was almost unsteady. However, Nathan reflex stood up and moved quickly to catch Caitlyn's body.

“He's why, Nath?” Saskia asked with a panicked face.

“Fainting, Ki,” Nathan replied as he led Caitlyn to the sofa and laid her there.

“Duh, how is it, Nath? I ... What should I do?” Saskia was so excited and panicked.

Nathan smiled to calm him down. “Quiet first, Ki. You forgot I was?”

Saskia patted her own eel. “Ah, so stupid am I. How can the cave forget if there is Doctor Nathan here.” The girl in the shape of a clover gave a wide grin showing her rows of white teeth.

Nathan chuckled while shaking his head at Saskia's behavior. He opened the bag and took the stethoscope, which was always in his bag.

The man with a profession as a doctor asked permission from Saskia to check on his best friend. He also attached the tool to the chest, then moved to the abdomen.

The handsome man's face began to change from the one that had been calm, starting to change seriously with a slightly pursed forehead. The examination was even done once again to strengthen the temporary diagnosis that he believed.

“Nath, Lily is okay, ‘kan?” Saskia was suddenly worried.

Nathan took off the stethoscope and saved it back. “He's good, really. Nothing serious. It's just ...”

“What's it, Nath? Lu don't make me die of worry,” urges Saskia.

“Dia ..”
