Chapters 112. Lean Promise

“Papa say what?” caitlyn asked as soon as Lean ended the phone call with her father.

“Hm?” Already heard, but Lean acted as if she was not listening to anything.

The man's eyes were now closed pretending to sleep while still hugging Caitlyn. In a very slow motion he put the phone in his pants pocket.

“Papa said what was on the phone?” caitlyn asked once more in a half whining tone this time. He didn't like Lean ignoring him like this.

“Nothing, Honey. Just an office job,” replied Lean who immediately opened her eyes.” The man chuckled at the sullen face of the wife. “Sleep, I want to go to the bathroom for a while.” Lean immediately moved to get up but again Caitlyn held him back.

“Long, ‘kan? Nah, no. Can't be.” Caitlyn shook her head while tightening her embrace. Not only his hands, but his legs were coiled around Lean's body.

The pregnant woman's behavior made Lean chuckle because she could not resist the anxiety. The atmosphere that was once tense, full of emotion, full of fear, now became liquid and warm.

“Truly not a lie, dear. I'm just in the bathroom, stomach ache, Cintaaa! If you don't believe yodah here come,” invite Lean on the sidelines of her laugh.

“No want, slovenly!” caitlyn refused.

“Yes, if so let me go alone. Just a moment, my dear.” Lean seduced by all means.

Hadya turned her gaze towards the door. “Where is Caitlyn?” tanyakanya.

“Udah sleeps in room, Pa.” Replied as he walked towards one of the seats there. “What news do Papa want to show?” ask Lean next. “Eh, Ren? Since when is it here?” I realized that there was not only my father in the room.

“It's been since an hour ago, Mr.” Rendi answered according to the actual time. Lean responded with just a nod.

Hadya, who had initially turned off the large television there, turned it back on and asked Lean to look forward.

The first Chanel presented by Hadya, immediately made Lean aghast. Hadya then changed again to another channel, the same news appeared until the next channel Lean immediately rose from her seat, even though she had just sat down.

Audience, this morning news came from a well-known businessman a foreign company–Vagz International–William Vargas. Top rediscovered the daughter of the foreign company's chairman who went missing a dozen years ago. The atmosphere of the haru also filled the luxurious residence of Vargas. “Papa sure he's laughing happy now. He's monitoring all this from afar. The woman is just her tool.” Hadya.

Lean understood and her brain tried to think of a solution to this.

“There must be a way. Caitlyn will get what belongs to her. I promise for the sake of my late mother, I will do anything to restore the happiness that is rightfully my wife, not Cecilia!” lean's Promise.

The man immediately got up to his feet and Hadya reflexively held him back. “Where to?”

Lean shook her head. “Not going anywhere, Pa. Caitlyn did not want to be left anywhere today,” replied Lean.

He then unlocked the key slide on his phone, then searched for a contact there. Lean called the number.

📲 “You've held it?”

I asked when someone across the street answered the phone.

📲 “Already, Mr.”

📲 “Good. Now it's your job to find the demon woman and lock her up in the same place as her partner.”

📲 “Good, Mr.”

Lean cut off the phone.

“Jerry? You told him to hold Sania down too?” ask Hadya.

“Of course, Pa. This time don't limit my actions. I wanted to show her the pain she had never felt. By itself he will beg to take his life,” he said furiously and with great emphasis.

Hadya took a deep breath. “Do it, Son. Papa won't ban you anymore. But promise not to kill them. Remember your son and wife, Lean.”

Finished saying that, Hadya who first left the room. Soon after, Lean and Rendi. Hadya headed to her mother's room–Grandmother Sanju and told her everything.

Meanwhile Lean returns to her room to check on Caitlyn. The beautiful mummy was still sleeping apparently. He entered slowly so as not to disturb the sleep of the wife.

Slowly Lean sat on the lip of the bed while staring at Caitlyn's shady face affectionately. Suddenly his heart felt pinched considering how cruel fate was toying with the life of that beautiful woman.

“I'm sorry I never saw the pain in your eyes,” whispered Lean. “It turns out a lot of difficult things you've been through alone all this time.” Lean lowered her head and grabbed Caitlyn's hand and kissed her. “This time you will never be alone again, dear. I was right here. Will always be with you. I'll even bring your family back to you. I promise Cecilia won't be playing this role for long. I promise, Honey!”
