Chapter 65. Forgive Me

Lean and Caitlyn are on their way to the hospital. They were about to use an ambulance but Lean refused on the grounds that she was more comfortable using her own car.

He and Caitlyn used their car. Not to forget, two medical personnel came with them to anticipate if in the middle of the journey Caitlyn needed help.

Lean drove her car at a moderate speed because she didn't want to make Caitlyn feel scared anymore. The journey to the hospital is still a long way off. Therefore, he asked Caitlyn to rest worried if the woman would be exhausted.

“Sleep, the trip to the city is still far away,” Lean said gently.

Caitlyn shook her head slowly then replied, “It's okay. I'm not sleepy either.”

“You must be tired, Caitlyn. It's also a long night, not good staying up. Moreover, you are pregnant again,” protest Lean but with a super soft tone like earlier.

Not answering, Caitlyn was silent while looking to the side and looking at the handsome face that was driving the car seriously. Feeling himself being stared at, Lean turned her head at a glance with both foreheads raised.

“Why? Something wrong with my words?” he was confused and looked back to the front.

Caitlyn nodded again. The woman then improved her sitting position to get better with a straight forward position and more upright.

“Nothing. I just can't believe that you can talk like that.” Caitlyn threw her gaze out the window next to her, staring at the dark street. “Do you care about it or just because pity–”

His words suddenly stopped and that very second he turned his gaze back to Lean. His heart pounding rapidly optimised his work twice as much as usual, as Lean grabbed one of his hands and clasped tightly.

The next second Caitlyn's body froze as the man carried the hand he held, then pressed it against his lips. When he felt Lean's kiss so warm and deep on the back of his hand, Caitlyn suddenly grew cold.

Oh, damn! Scenes like this are so bad for her heart work. However, he did not know how to calm himself, even just wanting to pull his hand away Caitlyn was helpless.

Ah, Lean's influence is still too great in her life. It's still the same as before. Caitlyn was still silent and kept staring at the beautiful face with beautiful sculptures and perfect as the Greek god.

“Don't keep looking at me like that but sleep for a moment,” Lean suggested.

Caitlyn gave a small snort and smiled. “Meet me and don't go anywhere,” Caitlyn's love.

“I'm here, next to you.” Gets briefly. “No need to worry, nothing will bother you anymore even hurt you.”

And that remark managed to make Caitlyn's feelings much calmer. Slowly he began to close his eyes and fall asleep peacefully, with a smile that was still clearly visible.

The car continues to go with Lean who is now slightly increasing the speed more than before.
