Ashley knows what Carson's driving.

That technological barrier was created to put pressure on all Chinese businesses!

For many years, the Chinese had to rely on themselves to develop new technologies.  Although there was no shortage of talent, it was difficult to make up for the huge gulf between them and their competitors.

Their competitors are only willing to transfer obsolete technology at a high cost.  Besides, they have no chance.

Ashley knew about this when she was at school.

"When Durham Group partners with Palmer Group, the news will be out in a day. How else," Carson said.  "In my opinion, it doesn't matter. Since I have already agreed to work with Palmer Group, I will keep my promise."

"I'm sure you'll do it" Ashley replied, "Since you're ready, I hope we can complete the technology transfer as soon as possible."

"I can do it today" Carson said.

He seems to be even more serious than the Palmer Group.

Durham Group is a big Korean company, so he would be under great pressure if he made such a decision, but Carson would not be bothered.  All he cares about is the Durham family's survival.

As the Durham family paid a heavy price to become the most powerful family in Korea, he had to save the situation even if he might get hurt.

Ethan will take care of other problems, and he doesn't have to worry.

"Okay," Ashley replied immediately.  "I will come this afternoon to discuss the details of the contract and sign a technology transfer contract. As for the contract specifications, I'm sure you've thought of something."

Carson nodded.

After they split, Carson went straight back to Durham Group and held a management meeting to inform everyone of his decision.  It caused a huge uproar when he announced it.

Durham Group Office.

"Mr Durham, this is our core technology that has given us an international competitive advantage. How can we transfer it at this price?"

"Mr Durham, are you in trouble? Is someone threatening you?"

"We can't allow this, and the Technology Barrier Alliance can't either. Mr. Durham, don't forget that we are part of the alliance..."

Everyone shook their heads when they heard Carson's decision.  They all felt it was unexpected and refused to agree to it.

"I'm just telling you."

Carson leaned back into his chair.  He sounded calm as if he was talking about something completely ordinary.

"For those of you who disagree can think of selling your shares and retiring. That's enough money for you to enjoy your life."

He turned his head and looked at these people who had made a lot of profit from the Durham Group.

In the past, Durham Group needed their investment.  But now, they were unable to find a solution and were determined to hold Durham Group back instead.

"Mr Durham..."

"I've decided. Palmer Group representatives will be here to sign the contract this afternoon. All related departments must provide full cooperation."

Carson stood up and went straight to the point.

It was a matter of life and death for the Durham family, so he did not have time to plan.
