But they have no choice!

"We will be able to close this gap or even outperform the others" Diane said seriously.

"I believe that."  Charly nodded.

"We all believe that."

"So, what else did you miss?"  Diane stopped by the lab because she wanted to see if she could help.

Charly smiled.  He was really touched to see how important Diane was in this.

"We don't lack anything at the moment. But if you really want to talk about it, we lose talent. We always lose talent."

Charly took a deep breath.  The industry is not easy, so even though they are experts in their field, there are still areas where they are not so good. They needed more talent to cover all their flaws.

Research always relies on a team of people.  It is hard to succeed with just one person.

"There will be a Technology Convention in Silicon Valley. Diane, I'm sure you know about that, right?"

"Yes, I'm ready."

"A number of top engineers have to attend the convention, so if you can get some people from there, it will be of great benefit to us."

The Technology Convention held every year is slowly becoming a place where big tech companies are recruiting talent and improving their networks.  It's hard to catch these people right away, but it's a good place to start.

Diane could use this opportunity as well.

"I have the same thought," Diane smiled.

"I'll go and have a look, and this will be a great opportunity to publicize the company."

The Palmer Group is now longer based solely in Las Vegas, and not just in the beauty or mining industries.  Their high-tech base is now even more important than ever.

After exiting the lab, Diane noticed her BMW was still parked at the entrance, so she opened the back door and entered.

"Go back to the office" he said without looking up.

"Not coming home?"

Diane looked up in shock as she heard this voice and looked at Ethan who was sitting in the driver's seat.

"Hubby! When are you back?"  He pounced and wrapped his arm around his neck.  "You're the bad guy! Why didn't you tell me?"

He still wonders how the driver has the same voice as Ethan.

This horrible man didn't even tell her he was back.

"I want to surprise you."  Ethan touched her face and deliberately said, "You have kissed me so hard that there is saliva all over my face. You must learn a little restraint, wife."

"Ck."  Diane got off the back seat and sat in the front passenger seat.  He glared at Ethan and said, "Sure. From now on, I will hold back. Let's see who gives up first."

Ethan gave up.

This girl is getting more and more cunning now.

"We're going home. Mum said that you haven't rested well for a few days now."  Ethan frowned.  "So that's how you take care of yourself when I'm not around?"

"I'm busy working..."

"Then I'll close the company. I'm not running this company to make you tired."

"Hubby..." Diane wrapped her arms around Ethan's neck.

He knows that he won't be shutting down the Palmer Group now, but he really likes the heartwarming feeling when he hears how much Ethan cares for him.
