Almost every piece of advanced technology in the world can be found in Silicon Valley, from electronics to satellites, cars to weapons.

The big tech companies control the global tech core and have created strong alliances to protect their technology.

During this time, they were the ones behind the control over China's progress in this aspect.

All the men rushed back to Silicon Valley from Korea to gather in this place.

Tescon Inc is a high-tech company and they have even developed several satellites.  They are very powerful in terms of actual practical technology.

They have some of the best engineers in the world and they use whatever they can to get these people to work for them.  This helps them reach the top of technology research and also keeps them one step ahead of their competitors.

Especially the ones they created themselves.

"Where did the Palmer Group come from? Do they have support from other companies? Or government?"

In the office on the top floor of Tescon Inc., a faint smell of cigar smoke filled the air.

His contempt for the Palmer Group was evident when he mentioned their names, as they were names he had never heard of before.

"No, they don't. They are just a company that started in a small town in China, and their main business is skin care and cosmetics, so they became successful that way. They relied on that industry to enter the Korean Market this time as well."

The man sitting opposite her had a red mark on his face, and you could still see the shape of a palm.

His eyes were filled with anger and rage.  "I don't think they suddenly want to start a technology research department. That's too big a jump in the industry, isn't it?"

"The more surprising part is that the Durham Group is completely at odds with the deal we have as the Technology Barrier Alliance and provides the Palmer Group with basic technology. Are they crazy?"

His face was covered in facial hair and looked rough, but he was actually only in his thirties.  In a special company like Tescon, he is considered on the young side.

"Mr Hayson, you mean we should sit here and watch them take all this technology?"  asked the man sitting opposite her with some anxiety.

"They don't care about the Technology Barrier Alliance or Tescon!"

"Developing technology is not something so simple. It is impossible to do so without an accumulation of sufficient research," Hayson said as he shook his head and let out a cold snort.  "Tescon has been successful so far because we have put together nearly a century of research and we have so many leading scientists and technology experts working for us. What is Palmer Group?"

"But…"

"Not to worry. I'll bet that they can't even form an R&D team."  Hayson exhaled a mouthful of smoke and shook off some of the ash in his cigar.  He narrowed his eyes and said with disdain, "Without experts in their field, how will they develop things?"

"And the best talent is all in the west! Tescon alone owns at least 60% of them!"

He knew that it was impossible to do anything without all this talent.

Even if they had all the information, would anyone in the Palmer Group be able to understand all that?

They only know about cosmetics and skin care.  They will not know anything about electronics and hardware.

As for talent…

Hayson wanted to laugh.  What talent might China produce?  Given their level of education, it was impossible to develop talent at all.

And some of the emerging talents have all been captured by Tescon.

If the Palmer Group wanted to break into this area, they would only make themselves a laughingstock!
