Lance immediately panicked.

"Lana, I promised her!"  He glances at Ethan and is unsure if Ethan is angry.

They are still in Tokyo and are still in the Masamune Syndicate area.  If Ethan becomes unhappy, they can be recaptured by the Masamune Syndicate.

The clan will not save them!

"Your promise doesn't count."  Lana's not backing down.

He looked at Ethan.  "Lance has no say in this and cannot make a decision on this. Technology for integrated circuits is confidential information in families and cannot be shared with others. I hope you can understand."

Lance almost fainted.

Do you hope Ethan can understand?

How did that happen?

Ethan must have paid a heavy price to save Lana, but now they're reneging on their promise.  It is as good as seeking death.

Didn't Lana see how Ethan managed to defeat Krishan so easily just now?

Even Salos did not wish to offend someone with such prowess!

Lance was completely panicked and did not know how to explain himself right now.

He never thought about lying to Ethan.  He wouldn't dare!

"Sure, I understand," Ethan suddenly nodded.

He then walked to the temple without saying anything.

Lana was slightly stunned while Lance became dazed.

"Salo Family? Do they care if you live or die?"  Lance shook his head.  "I made a promise to Ethan. He saved you, so I had to back him up with our technology. It is a fair and equal exchange. To me, nothing is more important than your survival."

"You're not thinking straight!"

He quickly runs after Ethan while Lana angrily steps on his foot.

"Estane!"  Lance quickly catches up with Ethan and gasps.  "I will definitely do what I promise you. Please don't be angry, I'm not someone who denies his words."

Ethan barely glanced at him.

"Who knows?"

He did not care about Lance and treated Lance like air.  Regardless of what Lance said, Ethan paid no attention to it.

Lance started to panic.

But he knew that whatever he was saying now would not work.

Lana's words earlier clearly offended Ethan.

Since Ethan ignored her, Lance could only sigh and walk back to the main gate where Lana was.

"Why don't we go in?"  ask Lana.

"We can't go in anymore."  Lance glanced at him a little helplessly.  "He won't kick us out, but he won't care about us anymore."

"No problem, we don't need him to bother us" Lana said.  "Let's go back to our clan. Once we get back home, everything's gonna be fine."

The Salo Family was one of the top families in the Third World, so once they returned, no one could hurt them anymore.  Lana still feels like this.

Lance wanted to say something but in the end did not say anything.

He called the bodyguards who came with him to Tokyo to immediately escort them to the airport.  He did not dare to stay too long in Tokyo.

But as soon as they reached the airport, they saw a familiar group of people waiting outside the entrance.

"Jenson?"

Lance frowned slightly.  The clan has sent someone here for them?

Lana had just been saved and someone from the clan was here as if they had long since come and waited for them outside the airport.
