  Lance's hand was almost pinned to the door.

  Ethan just closed the door on Lance and doesn't care about it at all.

  Lance stared at the door, then turned to look at the empty corridor behind him. He felt like those black-clothed figures were staring at him right now.

  He doesn't dare to move and just leans on Ethan's door. He wants to knock on the door again, but he's afraid that if he angers Ethan, Ethan will stop bothering him.

  Terror, helplessness, and even anger continued to appear on Lance's face.

  He was only here to attend the conference. Will he end up dead too?

  After some time, the corridor was filled with the sound of footsteps.

  Jimmy came in with a few dozen security guards and they were all armed.

  "Keep in case!" yell Jimmy. He saw Lance slump on the floor and his heart sank.

  The guards immediately surrounded Lance.

  "Mr Lance!" Jimmy ran. "Are you okay?"

  Lance looked at Jimmy and the anger in his eyes like a fireball threatening to burn Jimmy alive.

  "Jimmy!" he roared furiously. "Are you trying to get me killed?"

  "How can you?" Jimmy quickly tried to explain. "How could I try to kill you, Mr Lance? We are business partners, and the Salo family is a strong family that I have great respect for! I have no reason to hurt you!"

  He had already seen that Lance's bodyguards were all dead.

  This has shocked Jimmy to the point.

  How could there be a killer on his family's yacht? And these assassins were extremely ruthless, and refused to let Lance go.

  First they tried to poison Lance but failed, then now they tried to kill Lance directly but ended up killing all of his guards. Lance almost died on Jimmy's yacht.

  If the Salo family is upset about this, the Toney family is in trouble!

  If they're not here to hurt Lance, then they're here to get the Toney family into trouble.

  "Mr Lance, don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you! Please believe!" said Jimmy.

  But Lance shook his head.

  How could he believe this?

  This cruise belongs to the Toney family and so does all the staff here. This is a conference hosted by Jimmy Toney as well. But now this voyage is filled with assassins and Lance feels his life is in danger as long as he stays on this ship.

  "I really can't trust you in this," Lance said. "I'm gonna call my family to pick me up, so I want you to dock on this yacht right now!"

  Jimmy's expression was a bit nasty.

  The conference hasn't even started yet but they have to go back now? Lance's not the only big shot on this ship.

  Too many people are at stake here.

  "Mr Lance, please don't worry. There are absolutely no problems with safety on this cruise ship. I'm..."

  "All my guards are dead!" Lance could not help but scream. "If I wasn't lucky enough, I wouldn't even stand here and talk to you!"

  "Jimmy, I can tell you that although I am not very important to the Salo family, but if I die on this yacht, I will, then I'm sure you know very well what kind of trouble will happen to your family!"

  Jimmy's face paled and he was so angry that he clenched his teeth.

  This is a very big deal.

  "Mr Lance, I understand, and that is why I will definitely make sure that you are safe. These bodyguards will protect you all the time and they won't go anywhere!" said Jimmy. "I'll launch an investigation soon and I'll get rid of the killer hiding in our midst!"

  Then he waved his hand and made sure that the several dozen bodyguards remained close to Lance and did not let anyone approach him.

  "Some, come with me!" yell Jimmy. "If you don't find the killer, then you can all jump into the sea and die!"

  Lance remained where he was and had no expression on his face.
