Marshall Crane did not state things very clearly, but what he meant was obvious.
No one knows what will eventually happen to Lance's sister, and the final decision is in the hands of the man who eventually takes over the syndicate.
Their attitude towards the Salo family is different, and it will determine what each person will do in the end.
Caleb just smiled and it was impossible to say what he was thinking.
He looked at Marsel. "That's fascinating. A woman is very important."
He nodded and got up.
"OK, I get it, I won't bother you anymore." Caleb got up and left without saying anything more.
Marshall's gaze began to shift slightly as he watched Caleb leave.
He knows what kind of person Caleb is. Caleb was afraid of trouble and did not want to get involved in this power struggle, and that was why he refused to take sides.
But his position was an important position for the Chairman and the Prince.
It was the closest the Masamune Syndicate could reach with the common people of the country, so neither of them would relinquish that position. Caleb didn't want to choose now, but he had to make a choice in the end.
Caleb left the headquarters and his expression was grim.
The situation was more complicated than he had imagined. The Chairman and Prince fight to control the syndicate, and essentially try to control the future of the syndicate.
But what does this have to do with this woman from the Salo family?
Caleb really doesn't understand. Capturing him is tantamount to offending Salos. They were a great power of the Third World!
Regardless of whether the Chairman or the Prince got what they wanted at the end of this power struggle, offending Salos was not good news for them.
Caleb really didn't understand what they were thinking.
He returns to the temple to see Ethan feeding Diane. He sat down and could not help but hold his head.
Ethan can't be bothered by it.
"It's very difficult to get this sushi because this guy has hidden a sushi chef and you can't get it anywhere else now."
There may not be anyone else who prefers food in Tokyo other than Caleb.
Caleb doesn't care about money, power, or even women, and only cares about food. Ethan feels that even the Legend of Fairbanks is meaningless in front of Caleb.
She had no idea that once she thought about this, Jenny sneezed several times in a row at Fairbanks, and began to curse people who spoke ill of her.
"I didn't get to see it," Caleb returned to the topic. "He's in Masamune Syndicate's Black Prison."
"It's kind of a higher-end prison that's better than a five-star hotel."
She was afraid that Diane knew nothing about this prison, so she added an explanation.
"The "head and the Prince both struggle to control the syndicate and to decide the future direction of the syndicate. This woman seems to be very important to them."
He's not too sure either.
He barely went to the headquarters in the first place, and now that everyone was siding, no one would share information with you if you weren't on the same side. There was no point in even asking the people around him.
"Will the Prince finally take action?" Ethan put down the cup. "After waiting for so many years, he finally couldn't hold it in anymore."
Caleb freezes and stares at Ethan. "You know about this?"
"I knew about it eight years ago."
Caleb was even more surprised. "And why don't I know anything?"
Ethan can't be bothered by it.
What would Caleb know? He had been eating and drinking happily all day and had practically hibernated inside the Masamune Syndicate all this time, so naturally he knew nothing.
