Ethan Hunt_God of Billionaire War Season 2
Chapter 1869

Caleb keeps running like a machine gun.  He was very good at this, he might be able to raise the dead with his words.

Lance and Lana continued to stand in front of the gate without saying a word.

Lana initially feels angry and wants to retaliate, but the more Caleb goes on, the more she feels guilty and the more she blames herself.

He was the wrong guy.  His entire head was filled with this thought.

"So you better show some sincerity," Caleb finally sighed.  "There's still hope for you two, so don't tell me I didn't give you both a chance."

"You just need to keep your promise, and we won't ask for more than that."

"Yes, we understand," Lance's head bowed and he looked very sorry.

He glanced at Lana to see that she nodded her head.  He looked so desperate that he seemed to be unable to do anything other than nod his head.

He has agreed to provide the Palmer Group with the technology they need, but Lana feels that this is the property of the Salo family and cannot be shared with others.

But now, their clan had abandoned them and was even willing to let them die in Tokyo.  They have given up on protecting this family.

"Well, I'll take the two of you to meet Ethan, tell him yourself" Caleb said.  "Don't tell me I didn't warn you - his emotions have gotten better over the past few years, so he won't bend to your level. But if you dare to be rude to her again, then you better be prepared to face the consequences! Huh!"

Lance and Lana nodded.

Caleb takes them to the temple and to the main hall where Ethan is drinking tea.

"Ethan, forgive me," Lana spoke up first.  "I'm the one who's wrong and I shouldn't take back my words."

"We'll do whatever Lance promises you, so I hope you won't get angry again."

He took a deep breath and realized how natural all those words were.  That's how guilty he is inside.

He feels he has let Ethan down, and it would be terrible if he didn't make up for it.

In the past, these two siblings would disappear from the face of the earth now.  They won't be standing here now.

But Ethan has a lot more to consider now.  He could no longer do anything he liked like before.

He has more things and people to care about now.

He turned to glance at Diane, and a tinge of gentleness flashed in his eyes.  Other than him, no one else in the world can change Ethan like this.

"Don't worry, we will definitely do what we promise," Lance quickly cut. "Our family really disappointed us. I think they've used us as a bargaining chip and sold us to someone else."

That must have happened.  He knows it.

The things they both controlled were extremely valuable, so they definitely made a good guarantee.  But Lance has no idea who Salo is trying to work with and how they end up being collateral.

He only knew that he could not put his hopes on the clan, as it only caused death.

Ethan glanced at him.  "You should be glad that you're still valuable. Otherwise, actually being abandoned is a very normal thing for your family."

That's how it works in the Third World.

It looked glamorous on the outside, but very few could understand the pain and sacrifice behind the gold and luster.

Lance and Lana were from clans that had been very long standing, so they knew this very well.  They always just watched others being sacrificed, and they never thought that this would happen to themselves one day.

"We understand," Lance nodded.  "No matter what, these are two separate things. I have to fulfill my promise to you first, then think about the clan later."

He looked at Lana.  "Lana."

Lana nodded.

He hesitated for a moment.  "Can everyone leave the room?"
