Highlight his beautiful eyes, his face that looks a bit pale with a body that is not fat but not so thin. It was like being swept away looking at the little girl. There was an unusual feeling that the man felt. However, once again, the Selfishness of the Hero as well as his hatred of Via overcame everything. He again raised a dislike gaze on Via and Lyla, making the little girl hide behind the body of the mother. He only occasionally peeked, with a face that seemed clearly afraid of the Hero.

"Mas, thank you for letting Lyla stay in this house" said Via with his head lowered.

Wira doesn't say. He even felt lazy to just talk to Via. However, Lyla's charm is like a magnet that always attracts her. Occasionally Wira stole a glance at the little girl who seemed to be frightened when she realized the look on the face of the unfriendly Wira.

Without a word, the Hero just passed by leaving Via and Lyla.

"Mas ..." call Via making the steps of the Hero stop. "Will Mas Wira come home for dinner? I'll prepare."

"No!" the answer was short, then stepped out of the house. While Via immediately brought Lyla to his room which was near the kitchen. He stuffed Lyla's clothes into the small closet in the room, one by one. Then crouch down in front of the little girl.

"Will ... From now on, we're staying in this house. Lyla's just gonna sleep in this room. Lyla's okay, right? This room is not as good as the parlour. But here Lyla will always be with you."

Innocently, Lyla researched every corner of the room, then smiled brightly. "Yes, Mother. Lyla wants to be with Mother Teyuss."

Via nodded, with a thin smile that always adorned his face. The little body of Lyla, carrying the little girl into her lap and hugging. "Mother love Lyla."

"Lyla loves Mother too."

That night, at a cafe in the city center. The hero was enjoying a cup of coffee when Ivan came to him.

"You been a long time?" ivan asked as he dropped his body on the chair.

"Not for so long. I'm bored at home. That's why come here" replied the hero.

"I thought you were going to get drunk again tonight." Ivan laughed softly, raising one hand, coding a servant.

"You have no other job but to mock me, huh?" exclaim Hero.

"Haha .. I'm happy to mock you. Via wouldn't put up with you if you kept going on like this."

"She's your wife, Wira."

"I don't care."

Ivan chuckled softly, then a moment later his face looked solemn. "Wir, stop that bad habit of yours. You've been like this for years. Forget Shera. I know his betrayal hurt you. But you've been destroying yourself for too long just because of that woman. He doesn't deserve you to lament."

The girl looked seriously at her best friend. "You're right, Van. Just because of Shera I became like this. All right, from now on I won't drink anymore."

"Well, that's good. You better focus on finding your son's whereabouts and asking for custody from Shera."

The woman rests her back on the chair. His mind was far into the past. When she first held her newborn baby into the world. There was no more happiness than that. But all those happy feelings were only for a moment. Because Shera chose to go with other men. The hero closed his eyes, with clenched hands, making Ivan pat his best friend on the shoulder.

"Patience and keep trying. By the way, have you found any clues about Shera's whereabouts?" ask Ivan.

"Yet, Van. My people are still searching. I don't know where he took my son. It's been four years, but Shera hasn't even left a trace."

"One day you'll find it."

For a few moments, the hero was silent. It sinks into the bad past. When a woman is present and destroys everything, including her family. It felt like Wira hated Shera so much, and for her Via was no different from Shera.

"What's up, Wir?"

"No one, Van! I just remembered something. You know, the woman asked for my permission to take her son to live in my house," Wira said while clucking annoyed.

"Then?"

"I didn't want to at first. But he kept begging. So I'll let it. I don't care about him or his son."

Suddenly Lyla's shadow flashed in the man's mind. He tried several times to remove Lyla from his memory. However, that innocent face just kept appearing in his mind.

Why do I keep thinking about the boy's face?
