Mother is Not a Night Woman

Mother is Not a Night Woman
Fall Down!!!!

Life goes back as it should. The days of Via with abundant happiness. Gets affection from the husband and in-laws who so spoil him. Give anything without asking. Lyla, whose health is improving.

After several weeks of not visiting the orphanage where he spent his childhood, that day Via visited the place with Lyla. Although married to Wira, who is said to come from a very rich family, but did not make Via forget where it came from. Every month he would send a huge amount of groceries. Likewise with his habit of giving money to Miss Retno for the needs of orphanage children.

While watching Lyla who was playing with her peers, Via and Bu Retno chatted in a small park.

"Thank God Lyla's condition is getting better, son. I hope Lyla can recover from her pain" said Ms Retno.

"Yes, Mom. Hopefully, a stem cell transplant can be done. That's my only hope for Lyla's recovery."

The middle-aged woman rubbed Via's hair which she had thought of as her own child. He was so amazed at the figure of Via who loved Lyla so much with all his heart, even though Lyla was not born from his womb. "God will give way, son. Your struggle to raise and care for Lyla won't be in vain."

"Yes, Mom. I really hope there will be a miracle for Lyla." Via rubbed his now enlarged stomach. He smiled as he felt an active movement from within. Soon, the baby boy who is now being conceived will soon be present to decorate his days. Prayer and hope never disappear from his heart. That the child she contains will bring good to everyone, and bring magic to Lyla.

"When is your estimated delivery?" ask Miss Retno.

"According to the doctor's estimate in two weeks, ma'am. But he said it could be faster or even slower" he replied.

Lyla who is now playing dolls with her age. Although Lyla's condition still looks weak, but not like it used to be, where she only became a spectator when other children were playing. "Lyla, don't run, honey! Will fall."

"Yes, Mother."

🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵

Via and Bu Retno were still chatting in the back garden when there was a commotion coming from the front. There was also a heavy voice of a man shouting loudly.

"Who is that, Mom?" ask Via surprised.

Retno stood up from her seat. The look on his face that looked happy, had now paled. He glanced at Via at a glance, then rubbed his shoulders. "Via, get in the room first, son. Bring children. I'll be ahead for a minute."

"But, ma'am .. who is that?"

"Here you go, you get in!" the Pinta Bu Retno.

PRANGS!

There was the sound of broken glass that made Via immediately stand up from his seat. He looked at the children who also looked frightened.

"Hurry out, or all the stuff in this house we destroyed!" shouted a man from outside.

A moment later, there was another sound of shards. Via was trembling in surprise, so Bu Retno immediately hugged him.

"Who is that, Mom? What do they want?" ask Via.

"They were the men of this landowner, Via. Mom's gonna be out for a minute. You stay here with the kids, yeah."

"But, Mom-"

Ms. Retno did not say anymore. He immediately went out into the living room, while Via was still staring while hugging some frightened orphanage children. Even with Lyla who has attached her body with the mother.

The living room looks so messy. Some goods scattered everywhere following broken glass scattered on the floor. Ms. Retno looked very shocked, finding some large tall men who were now standing before her.

"How many times have we warned you to leave this place. Our boss has already bought this land from the owner. So quickly empty this orphanage!" snarled a man.

"Sorry, Sir. I'm still looking for a new home for us to move in."

"I beg you to give me a little more time, Mr. .." said Ms. Retno pleading.

"Can't! Our master wants this orphanage vacated in 24 hours. Otherwise, all the things in this house we'll destroy."

Inside there, Via was already very worried if something happened to Ms. Retno, after hearing the commotion from outside. He let go of Lyla who had been hugging him with some other children. He looked at one of the teenage girls there. "Hana, can you help my brother take care of the other sisters? I want to see Mom in front first. Please take care of Lyla too, yeah."

"Can, Brother," he replied while nodding. He pulled Lyla's arm to get closer to him. However, the tighter Lyla hugged Via.

"Lyla's afraid, Mother," she said.

Via is still trying to smile. "It's okay, honey. Mother just for a minute. Lyla was here with Brother Hana. Mom will be back. Lyla wants to hear you, right?"

Slowly, he took off Lyla's hand which was holding her, so Hana immediately carried Lyla into her lap.

"Lyla was like Hana's sister, yeah."

"Yes, Mother."

Immediately Via headed towards the room where there was a commotion. Upon arrival there, he was very surprised to find the guest room in a mess, while Ms. Retno was already crying, trying to block some men who were tampering with some items.

Both of his eyes were rounded, as he stared at the few men in front of him. He still remembered, one of them was Marco's men, who had dragged him while fleeing from the entertainment. Via also ventured to get closer.

"Sorry, sir, what's going on? Why are you ruining the stuff in this house?" ask Via.

It seemed like the big man no longer recognized Via. Arrogantly, he immediately answered the question.

"The new landowner wants the orphanage to be vacated immediately. We warned a few months ago to vacate this place. But why are you still here!" snapped it.

"But isn't this land the waqf land of its owner?" ask Via.

"His owner is dead. And his son as heir has sold this land to our boss. So quickly clear this place, because our boss will build an entertainment venue here!"

Against her fear, Via tried to explain to the man. "But that waqf land cannot be sold. This land has become the right of the children of the home given directly by the owner."

"Where's evidence? Do you have the certificate?" said the man defiantly.

Via glanced at Bu Retno as if looking for an answer, but the middle-aged woman replied with a headband accompanied by her tears that broke, meaning that Bu Retno did not have evidence of land ownership.

Via also looked down at something. Now, all she had in mind was asking her husband for help.

I must quickly contact father or Mas Wira.

Via was about to step into a room where his bag and cell phone were. However, it was blocked by a man. His body trembled again, as another man threw some things back. In that corner, Ms. Retno is still trying to beg them not to ruin anything else.

"Please give it a little more time, sir! We will move today as well" Via pleaded.

"We've had enough time off for months! Quickly clear this place!"

Via glanced at the corner where one of the men was about to push Miss Retno. Afraid of anything happening to the woman he had thought of as his own mother, he immediately ran to block, but the man reluctantly pushed him so violently that he fell to the floor.

"Via!!!" Shouted Bu Retno as she saw Via grimacing in pain holding onto her stomach.
