Mother is Not a Night Woman

Mother is Not a Night Woman
Stay here and start over, be with me!

"Can we talk for a second?"

"Sorry, I can't. Soon my flight hours," said Shera refused Surya's invitation. He was about to step away, but Surya pulled his wrist.

"Please, just for a moment," Surya's pinta softened his voice. With a face full of supplication.

Shera tried to take off Surya's hand. With both of his eyeballs that had been filled with clear liquid. Didn't want Surya to find him in a very sad state.

"Please let me go!" He tried to pull his hand, but failed. Surya was too strong to hold him.

"No, before we talk."

Silence occurred for a while, when their gazes met each other. Shera could see that the way Surya looked at her was no longer as cynical and hateful as the man had shown. The same look, when they were still in love. And that alone had weakened Shera's hardened heart. Until finally, he gave up and fulfilled Surya's desire to talk alone in a cafe around the airport.

"I've made a lot of mistakes in the past. I hurt a lot of people, especially you. So now I want to forget everything and start a new life" Shera said. His gaze was straight ahead, yet with a blank look full of sadness.

"Starting a new life?" tanya Surya was accompanied by a nod of the head by Shera. "What kind of life? Drinking again? Or travel anywhere you want?" surya said as if insinuating.

"You just calm down. I won't repeat my mistakes in the past."

"How is it?" The question posed by Surya seemed to challenge Shera.

Noticing everything, the woman took a deep breath. He looked up at the man now sitting in front of him. "I'm sorry, because I once left you and chose to marry Wira. I know you were very angry at the time. But I've been blinded by my vengeance to avenge the Hero. My parents' death, it's ruined me."

Hearing Shera's words made Surya look at her pity. He has not been able to forget Shera, who is the only woman who has ever filled his heart.

Surya clasped Shera's hand and looked into her eyes deeply. "I'm the one who's sorry. I should have strengthened you by then. But I let go and let you destroy yourself. I can't do anything because Wira is the son of my master. And your father asked her to marry you."

Silently, Shera was speechless. Beautiful memories when he established love with Surya are still imprinted until now. Surya is also a man who became his first love, long before he knew Wira.

The woman then remembered a bule man who became his escape when leaving Wira, which eventually made Surya very angry. Accusations of being in a relationship without status and gathering kebo lead to him. However, Shera never cared even if the allegations were not true.

The evil man with whom she only took advantage of Shera's heartache by offering her happiness. But the truth is only for money. And in the end the man just left her.

"What about the charge of infidelity and housekeeping without status directed at me? I'm gonna go forget all that."

Surya tightened his hand. "I know it's not true. Because I know you best. I know you intentionally did all that to hurt Wira. Even all your fake infidelity I know. It's just that I'm mad that you chose that path."

Shera looked at Surya. He returned the man's hand.

"So you're also leaving your son?" Shera nodded. Recalling Lyla's innocent face asking her not to go made the woman shed tears, and in a matter of seconds she was already hiccupping.

In a stifled voice, Shera said, "Lyla already has a perfect mother like Via. He'll be fine without me."

"But he was fighting his pain. It's good that you're always with him. Hasn't Lyla started accepting you?"

Wiping away the tears, Shera nodded slowly. "But I'm ashamed. I once threw it away without mercy. Via right, I've been losing my rights as a mother since the day I threw it away."

"And you want to pay for your mistakes by leaving? Isn't that selfish? You just think about your feelings. A kid like Lyla definitely needs her birth mother by her side."

The woman tried to control her feelings, until the sound of a hiccup was not heard anymore. "Then what should I do? I have no one and nothing."

For the first time, Surya smiled at him. "Stay here and start everything from scratch" he replied by tightening his grip. "My company."
