Mother is Not a Night Woman

Mother is Not a Night Woman
How dare You ...!!!

The sound of shards of urns echoed, awakening the sleeping Hero. Still with the rest of the drowsiness, he rubbed his face a few times. The long journey from out of town made him choose to go home to rest for a while, until finally falling asleep. He was not even aware of the presence of Via in the house.

"What's that sound? There may be thieves who enter this house" he murmured.

The hero immediately got up from the bed, and came out of the room. He went down one by one stairs while researching every part of the house. Until his hearing caught a voice like a cry that he was so familiar with.

"Via ... That's the Via ... She here?"

The hero accelerates his steps towards the source of the sound. And, both of his hands were clenched, with gnawing jaws. When his vision caught Aldi who was trying to harass Via. The mounting anger made Wira immediately run and pull the collar of Aldi's shirt so that the man crashed to the floor. He then grabbed Via's body and hugged her. Even the Hero can feel the whole body of Via trembling.

"You okay?"

Via could no longer answer. All she did was hide the face on her husband's chest, with her cries held back.

Aldi's eyes were rounded, he was so surprised to realize the whereabouts of the Hero there. Wira has not yet returned from out of town. The man immediately stood up.

"Wii-Wira ... I think you're still out of town" he said hesitantly.

Wira's gaze was back on Aldi. He removed his embrace from Via's body, and pushed behind his back. Without a word, Wira attacked Aldi without mercy. He did not even give Aldi a way to repay him.

"How dare you do this to my wife!" he shouted while lifting a punch in succession.

Aldi fell back down, he rubbed the blood that came out at the corner of his lips, then quickly the man stood up. He tried to restrain the hero who was being controlled by anger.

"Wi-Wira don't misunderstand me!" aldi said stepping backwards, with a tone that sounded clearly frightened. "He asked me to come here, that's why I came." Aldi pointed at Via who was back there. He was trying to slander Via in order to save himself from the wrath of the Hero.

"And you think I'll believe it?" Wira glanced at Via with her eyes tails, then looked back at Aldi. "You're saying my wife asked you to come here?" He continued to move forward, along with Aldi's step that continued to retreat.

"Calm down, Wira. Don't you hate that woman. She's just a comfort woman."

Hearing the Speech of Aldi makes the blood of the Hero as if boiling. He attacked Aldi blindly.

Bugh Bugh Bugh

Punch after punch continued to land on Aldi's body. He has no power against the hero. Only one was on his mind, how to stop the Hero.

"I won't let you out alive from this house," whispered Wira filled with emotion.

"Wi-ra, stop!" As powerful as possible, Aldi pushed Wira back a few steps. He glanced at Via and Wira alternately, his breathing had begun to sting with some parts of his body that felt pain due to the all-out beat. "Why are you defending him? Didn't you say you didn't care about that woman? You even said disgust in contact with him? You forgot all your words?!" Aldi shouted back. "You also said you'd divorce her once your business was done, right?"

Via speechless. The tears she had been holding back had also fallen. Every word that was spoken from Aldi's lips was like an inscription that bore a wound in the heart. He retreated backwards and sat hugging his knees in the corner of the room, with his head face down in tears.

While Wira, still with a growling look, he pulled the collar of Aldi's shirt. "I've said that before. And that was my biggest mistake!" He again rained down Aldi with his fists.

Aldi was covered in blood, but Wira seemed to not care. Aldi's roar withstood the pain. Still with emotions exploding, the Hero headed towards the corner of the room, and took out an urn. He was about to throw at Aldi's head, but the sound of Via's frightened cry resuscitated him.

He dropped the jar and glanced towards the corner of the room where Via was hiding. Not wanting Via to get more frightened, Wira tried to temper her anger by sighing a few times.

With the rest of his strength, Aldi tried to stand up. He rubbed some parts of his body, as well as his face. His white shirt was filled with blood.

"You'll be sorry, Hero!" he said with a sigh, then dragged his staggering steps, out of the house. He even slammed the door hard.

The hero immediately went to the corner of the room, where Via was. He crouched down in front of his wife and rubbed his hair.

"Darling ..." The body of Via and hugged him. Crying finally broke. That day he realized, his decision to enter the night world would tarnish him for life. Via may be a good woman, but in the view of some, she is still a night woman who is blasphemous. Moreover, Aldi's words continued to ring in his mind. "calm down, you're safe now."

Until a few minutes passed, Via was still trembling. The woman started hiccupping. While Wira is still seen trying to unravel her anger. The hero finally chose to carry Via, and took him to the room on the top floor.

Upon arrival in the room, he laid Via there, then examined the body parts, snore by snore. Determine if anyone is injured or not. Luckily, there was only a slight bruise on the knee from a fall. The hero tidied the hair that covered the face of the wife. The former slap Aldi still clearly reddened on his face, as well as the rest of the blood seen on the corner of the lips. Seeing that, the entire body of the Hero seemed to be burned back by anger.

He immediately went to the bathroom and washed his face with water. Even the coldness of the water that felt permeated the skin was not enough to reduce the emotions in his soul. The hero leaned against the wall. At least he was still grateful, because the plan gave a surprise to Lyla and Via so that it made him choose to return early, leaving Ivan who was still out of town.

A little while later, Wira came out of the bathroom and approached Via who was still lying there. He looked at his wife's face with his empty eyes. There was no sound, only tears that refused to stop flowing.

That night, for the first time the Hero paid more attention to Via. With a wet towel, he rubbed his bruised face. "you want to go home?"

With a stifled cry, Via replied, "I don't want Lyla to see me in this state. He'll be scared."

Just like that, Wira again pulled the woman into his arms. "Sorry ... It's all my fault. Had I treated you well in the first place, she wouldn't have been this brave."

The time had already shown at nine o'clock at night, when Via was still lying. While Wira was still sitting next to him while playing a cell phone, and one hand caressed Via's face.

"I've contacted mom. He said Lyla was fussy. But now I'm sleeping again. I said you would stay here," Wira said making Via nod slowly.

The hero put his phone on the nightstand, after his business with someone who had been texting him was done. He laid his body on Via's side and pulled a blanket over their bodies.

In a thick blanket, Wira hugged Via and made her arm a pillow. Every now and then, he kissed the woman's forehead.

He whispered softly, "Don't worry. I'll take care of that bastard, so he can't bother you anymore."

Via buried his face in the chest of the husband. Find peace there. The hero also tightened his embrace.
