Mother is Not a Night Woman

Mother is Not a Night Woman
Om Wila Evil Same Mother, Opa ...

The hero was still daydreaming with a few question marks on his mind. He unceasingly thought of the little princess who had long been separated from him. It felt like the longing killed him. The search for four years was not easy. He would do anything to find his lost soul mate.

Time showed at seven in the morning, when Wira and Bima were sitting inside a plane to return to the capital. The hero stared out the window. The weather seemed to describe his sadness. Without feeling her tears just fall.

"Submit everything to destiny. If God wills, you will definitely find your son," said Bima trying to comfort Wira.

"I just don't understand any of this. Shera is a mother. But he even had the heart to leave the child born from his womb. While Via ... he loves Lyla wholeheartedly, even though Lyla is not his biological child." The hero begins to remember the affection and tenderness of Via to Lyla. Remembering that was somehow her heart felt warm. If he finds his son, maybe Via will treat his daughter just like Lyla. So mind of the hero.

Bima who does not understand the meaning of the speech of the Hero can only frown on his forehead. "Whatchu mean? Lyla's not Via's real child?" bima asked, "do you know where?"

The hero looked back out the window where the rain drops began to fall. The man remembered the night before his departure for Bali, he coerced his wife violently, so much so that Via was so frightened that he trembled. Moreover, Lyla had seen him push Via to fall.

"Via's a good woman. I have misjudged it," said Wira cursing her actions in her heart.

The wrinkle on Bima's forehead deepened, a sign that the man was getting confused. "Wait on! I haven't caught the gist of what you were talking about just now. Please explain it again."

"Yes, I misjudged Via. She's not a night woman. He's still intact. And I've-" Wira has not continued his words, making Bima gaping in disbelief. He began to guess in his heart what the Hero meant.

"You mean you've .." said Bima interrupted. "You forced him?"

The hero replied with a slow nod. He was so sorry for what he did to Via. However, it could not be denied by him that in his regret there was a glimmer of gratitude, because in the end he knew how the real Via was.

"You must be crazy, my lady."

The hero wiped his face. His mind branched between Via and Lyla, as well as his son who until now has not been certain of his existence. "How am I going to apologize to Via? He'll probably hate me. I ate Aldi's words."

Hearing the stupid words coming out of the mouth of the Hero makes Bima scratching his head is not clear. He was concerned about the fate of his boss. But what power, rice has become porridge. Bima can only cluck in wonder.

Meanwhile in a hospital, Via had just finished feeding the porridge to his little daughter. Looks like Lyla's appetite is good. He finished the small bowl of porridge voraciously.

"Yes, honey?" ask Via while smiling with relief. Lyla's condition has improved. Not like yesterday when they took him to the hospital. Where Lyla's face was so pale.

"Enak, Mother."

Via rubbed her daughter's lips with tissue, then kissed her forehead. "The mother's child is smart and strong. That's why my dear."

"Lyla's a good boy, Mother."

"Yes, honey."

Not long after, the door of the room opened. Via looked towards the door. Looks like his father-in-law was there with Surya who brought some groceries in his hand. On his way to the hospital, he asked Surya to stop by the supermarket to buy him milk and some other supplies for Lyla.

"Good morning, son!" greet him while smiling kindly. Via immediately welcomed his father-in-law's arrival by kissing the back of his hand. The middle-aged man approached towards the bed, and rubbed Lyla's head. "How's Lyla doing? What did the doctor say?"

"Said doctor Lyla still has to undergo some tests, Dad. But Lyla's improved. He's not delirious anymore like yesterday."

Via looked at his father-in-law who was now sitting on the lip of the bed while carrying Lyla to his lap. One thing that Via was grateful for, was that his in-laws were kind to Lyla and willing to accept the little girl.

"Dad, thank you for helping me and Lyla. I don't know what to thank you for" said Via.

"Why should you thank me? Lyla is also my granddaughter. Yes, Lyla." Gently, he rubbed Lyla's hair and back.

"Yes, Opa."

Via is still trying to hold back the tears that now bathe his eyeballs. "Dad, I'm going to the doctor's office for a second."

"In the meantime, Via .." he took out his wallet from his pants pocket and gave Via a card. "Use this for your needs, son!" he said while handing over a card.

"No need, Dad. I helped me bring Lyla here. That's enough."

"No, Son ... You need this. Take it, it's not for you, it's for Lyla."

Via's outstretched hand received his father-in-law's gift. "Thank you, Dad."

"Alright, I'll accompany Lyla here. You go first. "

After telling her the pin number, Via went to the doctor's office, leaving her in-laws and Lyla in the room. While Surya still remained faithfully standing there watching the interaction between his master and also the four-year-old toddler.

"Opa .." call Lyla. He is now sitting in a bed playing with his old Barbie doll.

"Yes, Son!"

"Lyla's the same mother wants to go home. Lyla does not want to live in the house of Om Wila anymore," said Lyla innocently.

Lyla's words made the man furrow the brow of a sign thinking of something. "What's the matter, son?"

"Lyla was afraid of Om Wila, Opa .." she looked at the opa. "Om Wila fierce. Om Wila is also evil same mother, likes evenin mother, teyuss likes dolong mother. The mother fell down crying." Innocently, Lyla complained about all the actions of the Hero while in the house. Even the little girl looked sad as she told all that.

Surprised, the 55-year-old man stared at Surya. His gaze now reflected anger.

"So Om Wira used to scold Lyla?" ask her to make sure.

"Yes, Opa. Lyla just borrowed her plinsyes doll, teyus Om Wila insteadin Lyla. Afraid of Opa, Om Wila evil. Lyla is not shuka Om Wila. Lyla's going home." Although Lyla's way of speaking was still very confused and sometimes unclear, but the man was able to understand very well what the little girl meant. So did Surya who looked compassionately at the little boy.

He recalled his conversation with Via yesterday while Lyla was being treated by several doctors in the IGD room. He asked how the hero treated him. However, Via always tries to cover everything up by saying the Hero is always nice to her and Lyla. But now he knows the truth through Lyla. A plain little girl who couldn't possibly lie.

So this is what the hero has been doing all along. He's been completely outrageous. Even Lyla was sick but she could not be contacted until now. Not in the slightest did he care about Via and Lyla, he said inwardly.
