The hero's steps toward a wardrobe. It was impossible to accept the fact that Via had left home and brought Lyla with him. His hands were shaking, holding the closet door. He tried to strengthen his fragile heart and ventured to face the harsh reality.
Slowly, he opened the closet door. And, how relieved the heart of Vira, seeing the clothes of Via and Lyla still intact neatly arranged in the closet. He breathed a sigh of relief. All the turmoil he felt vanished somewhere.
Something caught the man's attention. His gaze caught a small book tucked under the folds of clothing.
He grabbed the object, rubbed the cover where it said the name Alviana Andini. He smiled faintly, Via a meek woman who became his wife, making his heart warm.
The hero dropped his body on a shabby mattress, where Via and Lyla had been sleeping all along. It felt like slashed by thousands of knives, the Hero could not control his tears. The man abstained from crying, but the heartbreak that Wira had experienced this time, hurt him more than the betrayal of Shera.
He rubbed the surface of the mattress with his palm. Every inch of his touch incised a wound. How very sorry he was, having made two people he should have loved, sleep on a mattress that was not worth wearing, while he, every night, slept in a soft and comfortable bed.
Forgive me, Via .. that is all that can be said in his mind.
His attention returned to the book in his hand. Intrigued, Wira opened the blue-covered book. Just on the first sheet, he had dropped his tears again when he found a photo of Lyla among children with cancer. Lyla's excited smile with her pale face was like a blow to her.
"My son .." he muttered in tears, and hugged the book. "Will ... I'm sorry, son!"
The hero wiped the photo with a finger, then opened the second sheet. There's handwriting Via over there. Wira also read word for word written in the book.

God ...
Today, I give you my destiny.
For the umpteenth time You show Your power
by giving me help.
I want to complain ...
Not complaining, though,
God, god,
Is there forgiveness for me?
Sins if today I feel I have loved humans excessively
Someone once taught me not to
loving people beyond limits.
True love can only be offered to the Creator.
That's true.
But, today I have felt love in excess.
My son Lyla, with his burning spirit
fight once more to live.
Maybe she wasn't born from my womb.
But I love him more than anything in the world.
I realized, he was just a pouch
And God has the power to take it away from me at any time.
I'm selfish...
For the sake of my little Lyla, I forgot my limits as a human being who had to rely on the powerful.
I am just an incapable mother
seeing her son being shackled by pain.
And because of her I darkened my eyes
and plunged myself into the black world.
My greed for having Lyla
it made me lose my gratitude.
The world is just a stopover place.
Whatever it is, it is just a test.
Forgive me, Lord...

Every word that is written is like an incision for the Wira. How much Via loved Lyla with all his heart. Even Shera, who is Lyla's biological mother does not have the perfect affection like Via.
She wiped her tears, then stepped out of the room. Up ahead, Bima was still faithfully waiting for him.
"How's it?" bima asked directly to stand up from her seat as soon as she saw Wira approaching. The man could see both of the eyes of the Hero that were still wet.
"Their clothes are still in the closet," replied Wira, making Bima breathe a sigh of relief. "but where are they? Via never left the house without asking my permission."
Bima seemed to think for a moment, before finally finding an idea. "Let's check the CCTV footage. There might be a lead from there."
Immediately, the two men headed for a room not far from the living room to view the CCTV footage in the house. Bima quickly checked the recording from various angles.
On the monitor screen, Via was pacing around carrying Lyla. Looks like he's trying to put her to sleep.
"This is the recording this morning. Is Lyla sick? Just look, Via keeps carrying her. It looks like he is fussy," said Bima. He sped up the recording and watched from various angles.
Until the footage shows Via opening the front door, where the Wira's father is in the doorway.
"Isn't that dad?" wira.
"Yes, right."
They continued to observe the monitor screen, until it was seen when the father was holding Lyla in a hurry to get out of the house.
Bima and Wira stared at each other confused. A moment later, Wira tried to call the father's phone number, but did not connect. The hero glanced at the direction of the short needle on his wrist. Time has shown at seven o'clock in the evening.
"Let's go to your father's house. Maybe he took Via and Lyla to his house."

It only took them twenty minutes to travel, they had arrived at a luxurious mansion with many guards. Wira accelerated her steps into the house with Bima. His arrival was welcomed by Aunt Arum.
The hero spread his gaze. In the living room, Surya was sitting while enjoying a cup of coffee. The existence of a tall man convinced Wira if the father was at home. For Surya will be wherever his master goes. He glanced at Bima and Wira who were still standing in the doorway. However, the man did not flinch, nor did he show a smile. Very flat as usual.
"Auntie, where's dad?" Without further ado Wira directly asked the middle-aged woman.
"Master is in the lower room. Just got home. Do I want to call Den Wira?" ask Aunt Arum.
"No need, Auntie. Let me just go there."
The hero will step into the room, along with the father who also just came out of there. The middle-aged man looked surprised to realize the whereabouts of the Hero in the house. But then his face looked grumbling. He stared at Wira from the tip of his foot to the end of his head. A very unfriendly look.
"You remember coming home? What's up?" ask dad flat. Realizing the gurgle of his master, Surya immediately stood up from his seat, but kept watch from a safe distance.
The hero immediately approached until his position was right in front of the father. There is guilt and shame. The unsubstantiated allegations that led him to accuse his father of having an affair with Via were like a blow to him. He looked down, without daring to look into his father's eyes.
"Dad, I'm here to ask you something" said Wira hesitantly.
Instead of immediately answering, the middle-aged man instead stared intently at Wira.
THE PLAQUE!
One hard slap landed smoothly on the face of Wira.
