Tok Tok Tok Tok Tok Tok Tok
There was the sound of knocking on the door that broke the daydream Via. He looked towards the door where the knocking continued to sound. However, instead of opening the door, Via pulled the blanket up to the chest limit, and returned crying while hugging little Lyla.
"Darling ... You're in there? Please open the door, I want to talk" Wira said from behind the door.
Silent! There is no truth from within. The man knocked again and again, but there was no sign of the occupants of the room opening the door.
"Darling ..." Again, he tried to call out with a softening of his voice. "please open the door for a moment."
After a few minutes of waiting, Via did not also open the door of the room, while Wira was already careless himself. Finally, Wira chose to enter her room, where there was a door that connected her room with Lyla's room.
Slowly, Wira tried to turn the doorknob, hoping that Via forgot to lock it. However, the door was locked tightly, making Wira sigh in frustration. He tried to knock several times, though not so hard, considering Lyla was sleeping.
"Darling, please open the door. I'm sorry to offend you. That's not what I meant .." said Wira trying to persuade once again.
After waiting for a few minutes without an answer, he finally chose to go downstairs to pick up a spare key that was in a closet drawer, which was in a room. When he entered the room, along with his mother who had just come out of the kitchen. The middle-aged woman noticed the confused Hero looking for something.
"What's the Hero? You need anything?" ask her while walking closer.
"Mom, I need Lyla's room key. It seems like Via was angry because of my words earlier," replied Wira as she opened some drawers.
Mother shook her head slowly while clucking. It is undeniable, he also felt very upset at his only son. "It's natural that Via was angry. I would have done it too if your father had done it."
"I know, Mom. That's why I want to apologize."
"All spare keys are in the bottom drawer" said the mother, when Wira never found the spare key.
The hero immediately opened the bottom drawer. And right, there's a lot of spare keys in there. With a happy smile, he grabbed the thing. "Thank you, Mom."
"alright. Well, then, can we talk for a second?" bring him.
The face of the unfriendly mother made Wira smile bitterly. He had expected that the middle-aged woman would give him a pearl sentence.
"But I have to persuade Via first, ma'am."
"No, before we talk!"
Finally, the hero gave up. He nodded, then immediately headed for the living room, following the mother who had gone first.

The hero nodded slowly, "Mom ... I just don't want Via to be like Shera. Was asking for one thing, asking for many things."
Hearing Wira's reply, the middle-aged woman grew even more annoyed. "You mean you're equating Via with Shera?"
"It's not so, Mom. I just ..."
"What only?" Wira had not yet finished his sentence, already cut first by the mother. "You don't have to compare Via to Shera because they're two different women. You may consider your wife's wishes to be excessive when she's pregnant with your child."
Hero fell silent. He could no longer answer.
"Sorry, Mom-"
Sighing in a long breath, the woman massaged her temples that felt throbbing. The behavior of Wira makes it unpleasant on his own to his daughter-in-law.
"Pregnant women are natural to ask. The spoiled attitude he showed was innate to the fetus in the womb. Not because of purpose. You forget, how big is Via's sacrifice for your son? She loves Lyla unconditionally, but see what she gets from you? After all the sacrifices, now the little requests you take for granted are excessive, are you?"
"I didn't mean it, Mom." Again the hero tries to defend himself. But, mother doesn't care. He continued to attack Wira with his sharp innuendo.
"Have he ever asked you for anything before? During her pregnancy, did you ever ask her what she needed and wanted what? The way you treat him like you've given him the rest of the world, but look at the truth. At the beginning of your marriage how did you treat her? You threw it in a second-hand room, but did he ever complain? Even to complain you to dad he didn't. And now, you're hurting him again."
Like a hard slap, Wira looked down embarrassed. The shadow of his treatment at the beginning of his marriage with Via re-emerged. How cruel he treated his wife, but never once did Via resist or complain.
"The feeling of a pregnant woman is sensitive and you as a husband should understand that. After this incident, he will feel meaningless in your eyes."
Both the eyes of the Hero have been filled with clear liquid. Now he realized that he had been unfair to Via, just because he was afraid of Via doing the same as Shera.
"I was wrong, Mom..."
Mother let out a long sigh several times, trying to unravel the emotions that had touched her heart since. "That's it. Talk to Via and apologize."
After saying that, mom stepped away. While the hero immediately moved towards the top floor. Once he arrived at the door, he tried several spare keys, until finally the door of the room was open. He spreads his view. The main light has been turned off and only the sleeping light is on, so the lighting becomes dim.
From inside there came the sound of Isak's heartbreaking cry, making Wira take a deep breath.
With a doubtful step, he drew closer to the side of the bed and sat on the lip of the bed. Isak's voice cried Via like an incision for him. He pulled out a blanket, which covered his wife's entire body.
"Honey .." he said as he grabbed Via's body and hugged him. He rubbed his hair, down to his back. "I'm sorry. I've gone too far. I didn't mean to hurt you."
For a moment, Via was silent. Then crying, he replied, "I'm sorry, Mom. I thought the desire to eat ice cream was just a small request, which would not trouble anyone, so I asked him from Mas Wira. I don't mean to go on asking for excessive things. I wouldn't have asked if I knew from the beginning that ice cream was from Singapore. I should have realized who I was and what my position was ... I have no right to ask and will not ask anything more from Mas Wira if it is considered excessive."
Although Via replied with a voice faltering due to a hiccup, but the Hero can clearly understand the words of the wife. The more guilt he felt inside him. He tightened his embrace, hearing Via who kept trying to dampen his cries.
