Mother is Not a Night Woman

Mother is Not a Night Woman
Why Are They Different?

Wira and Ivan were still sitting in a cafe when Wira's cell phone rang the sign of the incoming call. With a lazy look on his face, the man grabbed the phone from his jacket pocket. On the screen of the phone is listed the name of Bima, someone who has been a man to search for the whereabouts of Shera.

"It's from Bima, Van!" wira.

"Yes, I replied, Hero!"

Immediately Wira shifted the green symbol to be able to connect with Bima. While Ivan looked enthusiastic, he was also curious about what information Bima had.

"Hello, Milky!"

"Boss, I have information about Shera's whereabouts."

"Tell me where he is!" said Wira impatiently.

"It'd be better if we met, boss!" say a man across there.

"All right! Meet me at the Royal Cafe. I'm with Ivan."

"Alright, Boss! I'll be there."

Call disconnected, Wira put the phone on the table. Several times he was seen sighing deeply, as if trying to dampen the burning emotions in his heart.

"What information is there?" ask Ivan.

"Says he has information about Shera's whereabouts. Let's just wait. He's gonna be here."

Ivan nodded slowly, "May there be information regarding your son's whereabouts."

"Yes, hopefully. I just want my son. About Shera I don't care."

While waiting for the arrival of Bima, Wira and Ivan talked about a project to build a skyscraper that they were working on together.

Twenty minutes later, a large man came up to the two handsome men. Bima immediately pulled out a chair and sat down in front of the boss. The man pulled out a brown envelope tucked inside the leather jacket he was wearing. He placed the envelope on the table and shifted it towards the Hero.

Wira glanced at Ivan at a glance, before grabbing the envelope and opening it.

"According to reliable information, Shera has been living in Bali, with a new identity. She changed her name to Melani Agatha. That's why we have difficulty looking for it all this time" said Bima.

The look of the hero's face was growling, his face even reddened with anger that felt burning his soul. Especially when both eyes looked at the photo he had just taken out of the envelope. Looked a photo of Shera's affectionate with a bule man.

"You have the address, right?" ask Wira.

"There! But now he is traveling abroad with a man who seems to be his lover. I'll keep an eye on when he comes back and informs him."

"Then my son, where is he? Don't you have a picture of her?" The hero looked at Bima seriously.

"That's what I'm investigating, boss! According to available information, Melani, aka Shera, does not have a child. She's just living alone with this guy." Bima pointed to a picture of a bule man.

Worries are clearly visible on the face of the hero. Her eyes were teary, remembering her little daughter who was taken away by the wicked woman four years ago.

"Calm down, Hero!" said Ivan while giving the code to Bima. Usually if the Hero is already in a state of frustration like now, he will vent it by drinking until drunk.

Bima who understood the code from Ivan immediately tried to calm Wira. "I'll keep investigating. At least now we have Shera's address. Only he can give you information about your son's whereabouts."

The hero fell silent, one hand grabbed his hair, a sign the man was frustrated. Both of his eyes looked red.

"Don't worry. I've put people who can be trusted to keep looking for information about Shera," continued Bima.

"My child ... I don't even know what she's doing, where she is .. Is she okay, and who's been taking care of her all this time. And damn it again, I don't know what his face looks like now."

"Already, Hero! At least now we know where Shera is. Just one step away we'll find your son" said Ivan.

It feels like Wira is no longer strong to stem the longing for her little daughter. No matter where Shera takes her son. He will search even to the end of the world.

That night, after talks with Bima and Ivan, Wira went home.

The time had already shown at ten o'clock in the evening when Wira had just arrived at the house. When he was about to step in, there was a very melodious voice singing a song. Slowly, the hero stepped towards the source of the sound. Visible Via is holding Lyla while singing a sleeping song. The hero hid behind a huge pillar, staring at Via and Lyla from a short distance away.

Again the plain face of Lyla who was leaning on the shoulder of Via made the Hero fixated. If her little daughter was with her, she might have been as big as Lyla. That's what's on the mind of the hero.

While Via is still trying to put Lyla to sleep by singing while rubbing the little girl's back. To believe that Lyla had fallen asleep, then Via went to the room to lay Lyla.

The hero also awakens from his daydream. He immediately stepped towards the kitchen, opened the refrigerator and grabbed a bottle of cold mineral water.

Sitting in a chair, Wira again remembered the photo of Shera's togetherness with a man. He gulped down the mineral water in his hand, hoping that his anger might subside a little with the cold water passing through his throat. However, it feels so hard. Shera's betrayal hurt her more than anything, much more than sacrificing their son.

The hero was still in the kitchen when Via came in with a glass of milk in his hand. Instantly the young woman stopped when she realized her husband was in the kitchen, sitting daydreaming by tightly grasping a bottle of mineral water until it was crushed. Seeing that, Via was sure that Wira was in a state of anger. His body was also cramped, when Wira turned to him, staring hatefully.

The woman lowered her head, "Sorry, Mas. I want to make some milk for Lyla" Via said in a soft voice.

Wira doesn't say. It was reluctantly unpretentious with Via who was to him as bad as Shera.

Regardless of the look of the unfriendly face of Vira, Via stepped into the kitchen and made milk for Lyla. Even Wira could see Via's trembling hand holding back in fear as the intimidating gaze of Wira continued to be directed at him.

"Mrrrrnn ...." There was a voice of Lyla calling from the direction of the back room.

"D-yes, Honey! Just sec..." Frightened, Via answered the call, upon hearing Lyla's sobs. He sped up the movement of his hand after Lyla's crying voice grew.

"Why does your son keep crying?" ask Wira. His tone seemed to indicate that he did not like the sound of crying.

"Ma.af, Mom. Lyla had trouble sleeping because of the heat in the room." Via's voice stammered in response due to fear.

While Wira noticed the movements of Via who was making milk. In his mind came back a few questions.

If Via, who is a woman at night, loves her son. Why isn't Shera? Are they not both mothers? But why are they different?
