Down and embarrassed, Cathleen does not think that her husband's family already knows the plan that trapped Gerald. “Sorry, I didn't mean anything bad to your family, but I did it all because I had to. I was wrong, using Gerald to avoid my ex-lover.” He took his brother-in-law's hand. “Ampuni me,” her door with a face that was wet again by the flood of tears.
Geraldine hugged Cathleen, rubbing the woman's back. “It’s ok, we all also have faults in life, we are not perfect. My family isn't as clean as you think, your mistakes aren't unforgivable. Cunning is common for my extended family.”
“But, Gerald was very angry and disappointed with me after finding out that I set up and used him.”
“Gerald does not like to be lied to, even he always says honesty when asked, even if it will be painful for those who hear. That's why me and Uncle Davis kept what you've done a secret.” Geraldine broke down a hug, holding onto both of Cathleen's shoulders. “Already, don't cry.” The wiggle rubbed his sister-in-law's cheek. “Freely you show sadness, Gerald will not easily melt when still feeling disappointed.”
“Where can I find Gerald? I want to solve this problem.” Cathleen couldn't stay still when everything that happened was due to her mistake.
“Not to be searched, Gerald will go home by himself. Just let him go to calm down.” Geraldine rubbed the top of her brother-in-law's head, she became like a sister who was calming her sister down.
“I was afraid that Gerald would divorce me after this,” Cathleen said, her face looking anxious.
“Trust me, Gerald didn't easily break up just because it was taken advantage of. His anger was silent, but for a long time. I've fought with him a lot because of lies and cunning as well, so know how when he's angry over a feeling of disappointment.”
Cathleen did not know whether to be relieved or not after hearing that explanation. The problem is, Geraldine is a brother who is together from the womb, while she is just a wife who was loved a few months ago.
“Quiet, there's no Chloe, Gerald can't leave you, because the only threat that can make my twin craze is just that woman. So, you don't have to worry.” Geraldine patted his sister-in-law on the shoulder, then looked at the clock on the wrist. “Sorry once, Cath. It's not that I don't want to accompany you or help you. But, I have a job overseas, so I can't stay here for long. I stay, yes?”
Cathleen nodded softly. “I also want to go home, who knows Gerald will return to the apartment.”
Geraldine stood up immediately. “Spirit, Cath, facing my twin does have to be full of patience and strength.” Patting his brother-in-law's shoulder three times, he again grabbed the handle of the suitcase. “If I was unemployed, I would've stayed. But sorry, my work is a lot.”
Cathleen walked out with Geraldine. “What's wrong, I can face this.”
They split up, Geraldine heads to the airport, while Cathleen returns to the apartment. The woman kept waiting for her husband to come home, tried to dial Gerald's number but remained disconnected.
Until midnight, Cathleen was still sitting on the sofa, facing towards the entrance. Even today it feels bad to eat because it thinks of Gerald. Waiting and waiting for hours, until finally he fell asleep also because he was too sleepy.
Meanwhile, at three in the morning Gerald had just returned to the apartment. The road is a little staggering because it spends a few bottles of drinks containing alcohol.
