Unconsciously, Gerald began to get used to living with Cathleen who talked a lot and managed to make him not much silence anymore. Before he had a wife, he hardly ever talked to anyone else. Even in his own family, Gerald rarely communicates because he spends more time alone. But, while living with his wife, the man began to make a sound even though not much.

The eyes with the flat highlight were looking at each other with Cathleen's sweet eyes. Gerald is exploring how women who have been his wife for more than three months feel. Eyes never lie, what else Gerald a sensitive person even though his heart is frozen. “You like me?”

Cathleen nodded in affirmation. “Sorry if I'm sassy. But that feeling just popped up without permission.”

“What do you like about a guy like me? Ketus, indifferent, lazy. Why don't you go back to your lover who seems to love you so much?” Gerald felt weird about Cathleen. Though he deliberately has a bad nature so that no woman likes him. But, how could anyone survive with such ugliness.

“I don't think you're completely indifferent, to be honest you're considerate. And I'm so amazed by your loyalty,” Cathleen explained. He bowed his head, suddenly remembering Edbert who had treated him like a prisoner. “I've decided it, he's a very irritable person, a restraint, and I don't like his nature of it.”

“Everyone has a bad nature, no one is perfect and what you want. But I'm the opposite, I don't have a good side. And you still think you're gonna like me?”

“You are different, in my eyes, you are not as bad as others think.”

Just this time there's a woman who can still survive Gerald's vices. Making the man judge Cathleen was a strange person. His family could not stand his bad attitude. But, it was Cathleen's strangeness that unwittingly began to change Gerald from being much silent and very indifferent to others, now became a little talkative and began to show concern even though it was inconspicuous. However, Gerald was unaware of the change.

“I shower first, my body is tired,” said Gerald while standing. He broke off eye contact so as not to be fascinated by Cathleen's patience. The man doesn't want to betray Chloe, but the man doesn't know where.

Tumben once Gerald bathes twice in one day. It is a rare phenomenon. Probably because having a strange wife, got him infected as well. Or it could be that the man was deliberately avoiding Cathleen.

In the past, Gerald was a warm figure like other members of his family. So, surely the man was not entirely difficult to tear down the defensive wall wrapped in a cold nature.

“You want me to get a change of clothes? I've brought you some,” Cathleen bargain. No matter what Gerald's attitude toward him, he still hasn't given up.

“Serah.” After answering, Gerald went into the bathroom that was in there.

Cathleen commented on the smile because her husband's answer was no longer sniffy. He immediately picked up the suitcase that had been taken when he was picked up by Geraldine and invited to board a helicopter to go to a cruise ship that was already in the middle of the sea.

Full of joy Cathleen is looking for a suitable suit. Even he was confused as to which one was good for Gerald to wear.

“Hopefully he fits my choice,” muttered Cathleen after determining the top of the grey plain T-shirt and the subordinate of the cloth pants that are over the knee in a slightly dark color.

Cathleen waited sitting on the bed, staring at the bathroom door. And after twenty minutes passed, the person who was waiting finally came out also with an athletic body wrapped in a towel wrapped around the waist area to the knees.
