“That's impossible, Sir. Miss Cathleen is married, surely she can't come to New York to take care of you. So, please don't torture yourself.” Bene continued to persuade. He knew about Cathleen's married relationship from Edbert himself.

“He didn't come here because he didn't know my condition, try to tell my girlfriend,” Edbert's request. Still the man did not want to admit that his relationship with Cathleen was over.
