The Part 211
A month passed, during which time Gerald happily drove Cathleen wherever she was going. Of course because of his ex-wife's car he brought so inevitably had to contact him when he wanted to travel.
However, despite daily encounters, Gerald still does not realize that Cathleen is pregnant. Because, the woman continues to cover using large clothes so that they do not appear distended.
During that time, Gerald often met Edbert because Cathleen's company had a partnership with a man he considered a germ because it continued to exist near his ex-wife. Both of them would not want to budge and scramble to take the heart of the beautiful widow.
This morning Gerald insisted on picking him up until he entered the mansion. Usually he was just in front of the gate. I don't know why, but he kept on following. However, this time no, because he wanted to meet his former in-laws as well so that the road to return with Cathleen was not hindered by blessing.
Gerald got off Cathleen's car. Though it is not yet time to pick up, there is still two hours left before delivering off.
Papa Danzel just wanted out for a jog. He stopped stepping when he saw Gerald who stood firm with his eyes fixed on the entrance of his mansion.
“What do you need here?” ask Papa Danzel. He broke off his intentions for morning exercise and chose to approach his former son-in-law.
Gerald was still the same, showing a cool face. But do not forget the hospitality shown by reaching out to invite shaking. “Sorry if it interferes with the time, I want to pick up Cathleen.”
Papa Danzel to raise one eyebrow confused by Gerald's changed behavior. But he still returned the hand. “No problem, but my daughter is taking a short walk around the mansion.” area
“I'll wait for him back.”
“Come in, we chat inside.” Papa Danzel neither hated nor forbade Gerald to approach Cathleen. Instead he showed that he still received the man well.
As it was welcome, Gerald went inside. He sat in the living room accompanied by Mr. Pattinson who had just come from the kitchen.
“Thank you.” Gerald did not expect that his former in-laws still received his presence well. Though he thought it would be difficult to get back into the Pattinson family.
“Can I ask you something?” asked Papa Danzel while sipping a drink he made himself using a coffee maker.
“Please.”
“Are you trying to get close to my daughter?” As a parent, Papa Danzel felt that Gerald was indeed showing strange and unusual gurgles. It was just that this time he wanted to further ascertain the man's level of seriousness so that his daughter would not fail twice.
Chief Gerald nodded in confirming. “That's why I came here early because I wanted to ask your permission to let me take Cathleen's heart again.”
“I won't ban you. But, as a parent, I ask you to show your seriousness if you really love my daughter. He was once injured, but all because Cathleen was pushing herself to enter your life. I don't want to see my son fail again, if you can't accept and love him wholeheartedly, don't approach, let him live alone without your shadow. Come again when you are sure one hundred percent will make Cathleen a top priority.”
“I'm sure to make Cath—” Gerald's speech paused because there was the sound of someone suddenly cutting.
“Loh, is there Gerald? Very morning you picked up Cathleen.” It was the voice of Edbert who had just come with his former lover.
Gerald's head automatically looked up because he heard the sound of germs asking him to speak. However, instead of replying to Edbert's questions, he focused instead on his wife's tight-fitting, uncharacteristic attire. “You pregnant, Cath?”
