“Gerald Gabriel Giorgio? Our classmate at the University?” Madhiaz asked again with a more specific name.
Cathleen nodded. “True.” And ended a smile that showed a series of neat and white teeth.
Madhiaz raised the eyebrows. He just found out that Cathleen and Gerald are close. “Since when did you get into a relationship with that man?”
“Sshh ...” Cathleen attaches her right index finger to Madhiaz's lips. “Already, don't ask much. Bottom line, me and him are getting married.”
Madhiaz held the index finger of his twin. Squeezing eyes because they feel something is wrong. “Surely you cheated on her? Is it possible you're pregnant with Gerald's child?”
Cathleen held onto Madhiaz's head and she pointed forward to focus. “You let's just say I was having an affair and loved my affair more than my lover.” Rather than being interrogated a lot, it was better for him to just follow what his brother had accused him of.
Madhiaz clucked as his head shook. “Checking is not good, Cath. If you're married to Gerald, don't do the same thing again,” her advice.
“So, you're blessing me to marry Gerald?” ask Cathleen to make sure once again.
“How could I not approve if you were alone to have an affair with that man. Maybe, for you Edbert is boring. I won't interfere too much with your love affairs. As long as you remain a cheerful Cathleen,” explains Madhiaz by ruffling her twin hair to shambles.
Cathleen lowered her body to the left side, and hugged Madhiaz's arm. “Thank you my very understanding sister.” He put a kiss on the cheek. “But, can I ask you something?”
“What?”
“Please don't tell our parents that I'm not married to Edbert.”
“Why?”
Madhiaz who saw his sister as really wanting to marry Gerald could not dwell. He put Cathleen's happiness first. “Iya, I'll shut up.”
Vehicles boarded by Cathleen also arrived at the Population Board. They immediately entered to wait for approximately twenty minutes more before the wedding time began.
Meanwhile, Giorgio's family had not even left for the Population Board. They were on their way to Gerald's apartment.
“Try you call again, who knows Gerald hasn't woken up,” Mommy Gabby told her daughter sitting in the backseat.
“I've been calling since, but not picked up. Indeed Gerald woke up at noon, so I invite you to directly pick up to his apartment. She must have forgotten that today she has to get married,” explained Geraldine who is still trying to call her twin.
Daddy George who drove the car also stepped on the gas to quickly get to the apartment of the son. Before his son runs away and avoids responsibilities that are already willing to be fulfilled.
While at the Pattinson mansion, Edbert had just set foot there. He was immediately greeted by a waiter who had known the man because he often came there.
“Good morning, Sir,” greet the waiter by lowering his head.
“Again, is Cathleen and her family inside?” edbert asked as his legs swung to get inside.
The waiter tailed behind Edbert. “They've left for the Population Agency. Miss Cathleen is getting married.”
