Edbert's arrival made Cathleen's eyes round. Even the hand that was holding the mouse was trembling. He did not expect that the man who had been considered to have no relationship with him was still brave and determined to meet him in the company.
Cathleen thought marrying a man who was both burly and brave could make Edbert give up. It turned out that the same man was still recklessly setting foot in front of him.
“E—Edbert?” Cathleen was stammered as she called out the name of that quite terrible man.
“Yes, it's me, darling.” Edbert was swinging his legs closer to the lover.
“A—ada are you here?” cathleen asked while shaking her head to signal that the man was not approaching.
Edbert pulled the corner of her lips, showing that she did not care about Cathleen's gesture. “It is not allowed to visit my beloved company?” It stops right near Cathleen.
“Now I'm somebody's wife, Ed. Do not carelessly meet those who are not yours anymore,” Cathleen remembers with a body and a vibrating voice. Fear enveloped him at this moment.
“Indeed who said you're the wife of the devil?” Edbert responded casually. His hand rubbed the top of Cathleen's head as he said the sentence.
“Ed, you must remember, I am not your lover and yours anymore!” Cathleen tried to hold Edbert's hand over her head. The man did not rub it gently, but Edbert's hand felt clearly pressed when touching his head.
“Till any time, you are mine!” edbert firmly with intonation that contains a belief.
Cathleen shook her head. “No, you're sick, Ed. Your mind seems to have been disturbed.”
Edbert's eyebrows raised next to it made Cathleen flutter. Damn it, his feelings were mixed at this moment, fearing and feeling guilty being one. “Down, Ed, you're heavy.” He tried to push the burly man's body away.
“As you wish.” Edbert did descend from Cathleen's lap, but the man forcibly pulled the lover's hand, taking the person he loved to the sofa.
Edbert threw himself first on the soft and comfortable seat. Roughly, he pulled Cathleen down on his lap. “Now you won't be heavy anymore, darling.”
Edbert's hand gripped Cathleen's hip so that the rebellious woman could not stay away.
Cathleen to tears, facing and avoiding Edbert was not as easy as she thought. “Please don't be like this, Ed. I'm afraid of you.” He looked down because he was not allowed to escape and had to end up sitting on the lap of the man.
“I didn't bite you, Honey, no need to fear.” With one hand, Edbert rubbed Cathleen's cheek to remove the wet trace on her favorite pretty face.
“Please set me free, Ed. Accept the fact that we will never be together again. I already have a bond with my husband,” pinta Cathleen with all my sincerity.
“You and the man did not promise in the name of God, you are only country bound. That means, you can get divorced easily,” said Edbert.
