Mr Trap. Coldhearted

Mr Trap. Coldhearted
The Part 184

“True.” Gerald answered honestly. For one week, she went to the hospital where Chloe was being treated.

Finally, after a long time, the cold man let out a voice, even if it was just a word and sounded extremely painful. But, as Gerald put it, he would rather say heartbreaking honesty than lie for the sake of happiness.

Cathleen smiled bitterly when she heard that. “Is the condition that bad that makes you have to take care of it from morning until night? Until you ignore your family?”

Gerald looked at his wife with a flat gaze. It was hard to judge what the man was thinking. “Ya.” He again swung his legs towards the game room where he had been sleeping lately.

Cathleen could only exhale softly accompanied by a clear droopy dripping without excuse. It hurts to be ignored like this. He exists but doesn't seem to exist in Gerald's life.

...........

In the morning, Cathleen accidentally left the office. She wants to follow her husband and see firsthand Chloe's condition, as well as find out what her husband has been doing all along.

Cathleen was still in the room. Waiting for the door of the next room to sound open, then he will immediately come out.

An hour passed, Cathleen was sitting on the front floor of her bedroom door eavesdropping outside. Finally, he heard the sound of the door opening and closing again. Then she peeked, making sure her husband was out.

Cathleen immediately brought a bag, sunglasses, and hat to disguise herself so as not to be caught stalking her husband. He stood in front of the elevator, waiting for the stainless door to open.

If Gerald goes down to the basement to pick up the car, it's another thing with Cathleen. The woman got off on the first floor, got out of the lobby to look for a taxi. Because, he is self-aware with the ability to drive that can not be scrambled, while Gerald always high speed when driving.

From the glass door of the apartment lobby, Cathleen could see her husband's car was out and speeding on the highway. He bit his fingers because the taxi he ordered had not yet arrived. “How long, I don't know where Chloe is being treated,” grunts with anxiety.

Before long, there was a car that stopped in front of Cathleen standing up. Not a taxi, but Edbert. The man got off the vehicle. “Cath?”

“I see you as if you are agitated, maybe I can help you. No bad intentions whatsoever for you, please trust me.”

Cathleen looked at the face of her ex-lover, looking solemn as she spoke. He did not immediately accept the offer of assistance, but looked at the taxi application online that was being awaited. It turned out to be a long way away, while he had to catch up with Gerald. “Alright, help me follow Gerald.” car Forced, had to accept Edbert's offer rather than lag far behind.

“By pleasure.” Edbert opened the door for Cathleen. “Come.”

Edbert's vehicle was speeding up, following a gray mini cooper that appeared from a distance. Cathleen clung tightly to her seatbelt because it was too extreme.

Until finally stopped at a hospital famous for many upper class who always seek treatment there. Cathleen immediately went down when she saw Gerald go inside.

“Thank you for the ride, please don't follow me,” pinta Cathleen on Edbert. He was answered by the man.

Cathleen's legs swung immediately, entering the hospital building. But a slow breath came out of his lips. “I lost track Gerald.”

Cathleen had not seen her husband, she seemed to have gotten into the elevator. He asked the receptionist. “Excuse me,” he said in a soft and friendly voice.

“Yes, anyone can help, Miss?”

“I want to see a patient named Chloe, whose room is next door?”

“Shortly, Miss, I check first.”

Cathleen is waiting for the receptionist to tell Chloe's ward, with legs unable to stop moving. It was a sign that he was anxious mixed with fear of the reality to be witnessed. But, he wanted to establish himself to look directly even though he knew it would be more painful. At least, after this can take the best decision for himself and Gerald.
