Mr Trap. Coldhearted

Mr Trap. Coldhearted
The Part 44

Gerald looked up at the dining table because it was close. He looked at the dish on the plate, then his eyes turned to a paper containing the message. There was no need to take the note, his eyesight was still good, he could read standing up.

‘I'm off to work. If you're awake, don't forget to eat. It's a very sweet and cute sandwich your wife made, so don't throw it away. Maybe it feels mediocre because I'm not too good at kitchen affairs, at least enough to prop up your stomach so as not to hurt. Cathleen.’

Such is the writing on the piece of paper that is read in the heart. Gerald took the note, squeezing the message left by Cathleen. He made no comment, simply threw the irregular circle into the trash and managed to get in.

Gerald brought the plate containing one sandwich into the game room, put it on the table while turning on the computer. He had promised to cherish Cathleen during his time as his wife, so Gerald did not throw away even if the food did not look delicious.

While waiting for the monitor to turn on and ready for use, Gerald picked up the phone lying on the carpet. He also placed it near the computer.

Before playing online games, Gerald opened an application that did not know what it was. Only he and certain people have. It's like communicating with other people, but only for a little while. I do not know what is discussed by the cold man because the application was immediately closed after finishing talking about important things.

Gerald began downloading new games, not forgetting he took a special mobile game stored in a drawer. The man also downloaded on the mobile phone.

Gerald connected the new game on the phone to the computer. He began playing using a mobile phone and the action can be seen also in a large monitor in front of him.

Until this moment, Gerald's lips had not yet made a sound. He was happy like that, more silent. Therefore Gerald was very upset when there was Cathleen because the woman always invited him to speak, and managed to make him reply to every remark.

There are no cameras recording Gerald's activities. He's not a youtuber game. Let's just say he's a lazy unemployed, and a hobby of playing online games, but a lot of money because his family is rich. No one knows what Gerald's job is, except for Giorgio's family, Dominique, and some of his confidants. You could say quite mysterious.

Maybe Gerald was an undercover agent, a smuggler, or maybe a mobster like his grandfather Lordeus. Indeed, a mysterious man like him should be suspected of where the source of his wealth.

When Gerald was engrossed in playing the latest online game, suddenly his cellphone used for communication with others rang. He took a quick glance to read who the caller was.

Gerald's lips clucked. He was lazy to lift, because the one who contacted him was Cathleen. Nothing must be important either. So, the man continued the game.

Instead of being constantly harassed, with a heavy heart Gerald also shifted the green round button and hardened the speaker to continue the online game.

“What?!” ask Gerald with a ketus.

“Sorry if I bother you,” Cathleen said gently.

“Indeed you are bothering me so much! Quickly tell me, I'm busy.”

“I just wanted to ask you, what sandwich on the table have you eaten?”

Gerald immediately glanced towards the untouched food. When he had played the game, he immediately forgot about anything, including not thinking about looking for his lover.

“This I will eat.” Gerald's hand on the right took the sandwich, and he began to put it in his mouth. Although it does not taste very good, but can still be smeared by his tongue.

“Already, I just want to ask you that. Happy activities, later I come home in the afternoon,” tell Cathleen. And he ended the call.

“Ck! Not important,” muttered Gerald while spending food made by Cathleen.

Meanwhile, in a luxury hotel room, Edbert was looking at Cathleen's activities from her mobile screen. Sangar's face looked gloomy and full of ambition.
