"The rain has begun to subside" Haku said as he stared at the window. "We're leaving, Yuko?" he asked while looking at me and smiling faintly.
I stared at the window. And it turns out the rain has gone. The sun is again emitting its warm rays.
"Hc. Can ..." I said then immediately turned off my laptop. Then get up and get ready.
"Where are we going today?" ask Haku while wearing his coat.
"I want to go to Shinjuku Central Park/Shinjuku Chuo" I said as I picked up my slingbag.
"Hc. Be able. I've never been there either. I also want to see the Niagara Falls." said Haku excitedly.
We finally got out by taxi. It didn't take long for us to finally reach Shinjuku Chuo.
This park is actually no less beautiful than Shinjuku Gyoen National Park. It's just less known to the public. Shinjuku Chuo is a Central Park sandwiched between skyscrapers such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and many apartment buildings. The park also has its own Niagara Falls, which has become a symbol of the park. In this park there are also tens of thousands of trees to add to the greenness of the city and create a comfortable place to walk, meditate, or just relax.
The streets were still a little wet because it was raining heavily this morning. I looked up at the sky and it turned out that the rainbow was there. But the double rainbow I saw this morning was gone.
Haku looked up at the sky because he saw me looking up at the sky.
"The beautiful rainbow. After the rain there will always be a beautiful rainbow .." said Haku slowly.
"Hc. Is correct. It's beautiful." I smiled broadly. Now I turned my eyes to look at him. "Did you see a double rainbow this morning, Haku?"
"No. I didn't see it."
"Dearly enough. It's so beautiful."
Suddenly it started to drizzle back. There was the sound of wind and drizzle in my ears and I immediately grabbed Haku's arm. At that moment he smiled and pulled the arm that I was holding tightly and then gently pulled my hand.
"Follow me ..." He was trying to find a shelter.
The wind that was blowing felt so soft. Like playing a melody of life accompanied by a drizzle of rain. He led me step by step walking in the rain.
Slowly I caught something a little different.
"Walking in the rain is very different from walking when it's not raining." I said slowly with my smile.
"What's the difference, Yuko?" haku asked a little glance at me but we still continued to move on.
"When it rains. You always hold and lead me like this." I said slowly and blushed a little. I saw her slightly reddened face, but she further tightened her grasp.
"Then I will always hold it wherever we will go in the future. So there will be no difference anymore" he said with a sweet smile.
"I'm .." I blushed in shame.
The rain during the day not only makes a little splash on our bodies. But it also leaves sweet memories and notes in our hearts.
After a few moments of shade the rain stopped and the sky brightened again. Rainbows were seen stretching over the sky between the skyscrapers.
"Well, I haven't seen her in a long time" Haku said, looking at the rainbow. And today I see it with you."
We were both fascinated by that beautiful rainbow. Some time we kept looking at him from a gazebo that was just the two of us.
"Sorry this week I have not been able to fulfill my promise to go to Sea Paradise, Yuko. Next time I will definitely take you there .." said Haku breaking the silence.
"Hc ... Daijoubu, Japan. We can go next time." said I who was still looking at the rainbow.
"I'm sorry yesterday has made you so worried ... Two days I didn't call you. Because I don't want to worry you either. If in fact I was sick at that time .." said Haku slowly.
Now I take my eyes off and look straight at Haku.
"You sick, Haku?"
"Hc. Do you remember that morning I had a fever? I keep going to the office. But suddenly I collapsed in the office. I was driven home by one of the employees there. And that's when maybe my phone fell."
"You're not going to the hospital?" I'm very worried.
"Dad asked our family doctor to come over to the house." Haku looked at me and smiled gently.
"Why didn't you tell me at all, Haku?" suddenly my heart ached so much to hear that she was sick and I didn't even know about it. My eyes are already teary hearing all that.
"I don't want to worry you, Yuko. You have to do all your routines well. You still have to go to college, even you have to take care of Zen's brother. I don't want to add to your burden anymore by telling you that I was sick at the time, Yuko."
I don't feel like my tears are melting now. How not? I was sick but I was busy with my own business. I didn't even see him at the time! I feel so bad.
"Don't cry ..." Haku grabbed my body slowly and hugged me. "Now I'm fine. Yesterday was just a little down. Maybe too tired."
"Sorry Haku ... When you were sick I was busy with my own business. I didn't even visit you. I even have bad thoughts about you. Sorry .." I said getting sobbing.
"That's it. It's okay anyway. What matters is that I'm okay now." Haku said very softly and further tightened his embrace.
"Next time don't ever be like this again. Tell me when you're sick. I want to take care of you too. I also want to accompany each of your likes and sorrows .." I said slowly.
"Hc. Alright ... Now stop crying yeah .." she said so slowly and gently.
I immediately snapped my tears and wiped my tears.
"Have you really recovered, Haku? You should have had a lot of rest. Your rest time is very little. You have to go to college, and you have to work. I don't care if you use the weekend for a break. We can meet once a week, or once a month."
"No, Yuko. Meeting you is one way to ease my fatigue. And you are my spirit. How can I survive if there's no you?"
"Haku .." I was moved again and immediately threw my body into his arms.
You're so good Haku. You worry about me too. I feel so lucky to be with you. I don't want to part with you! I want to be with you always, in all your joys and sorrows. I want to always be there for you!
