A Trauma

I've been holding onto my knees that feel so limp. My tears can't stand to come out anymore. They just fell down and wet my cheeks.

"Haku .." I said softly and continued to stare at the exit of the theater. Hope Haku will come after me soon.

But how long I waited for him not to come.

"Yuko!" sounds like someone called me quite firmly. I looked up and looked at him. Anzu and Yuri are coming.

"You okay? Where's Haku?" asked Anzu who looked so worried too.

I don't know what to say. I don't know how to answer? I'm still very scared right now. Until my body feels so weak and like powerless.

"Yuko, answer me! Where's Haku?" anzu asked half-shouting and shook my shoulder.

"Russia ... Haku ... Haku's still inside. She ... she took my things that were left behind .." I replied at last.

"What?! Why would you just let it go?!" hardik Anzu who looks so wrathful. Yes ... Other than the current him looking very worried, he also looked so angry after hearing my answer.

"It's my fault .. I shouldn't have let him go .." I said back sobbing.

"Really! It's all your fault!" hardik Anzu was filled with a burning rage. "Do you really not understand Haku, Yuko?! How much do you really understand him?!" said Anzu half-screaming, even he had started crying.

What did Anzu mean to say that? I don't know! I really don't know! What else do I not know about Haku?! Whahuh?

I could only cry and cry, listening to the curse of Anzu who always cornered me.

"How well do you understand him? Don't you ever know if Haku has been traumatized by a fire?!" anzu said again still with a high tone.

I could only fall silent and shake quietly in my tears. The rest silenced my mouth with the palm of my hand.

Fire trauma? Haku never told me all that. And I don't know anything about such an important thing at all! Stupid me!

"When I moved from Sapporo. Haku has a new best friend. They were getting close and were like brothers. But one day there was a fire at our school. At that time, Haku was still trapped in the classroom. And at that time Yu was desperate to save Haku, even though the fire had grown bigger. Yu continued to search for Haku and finally found him. They were trying to get out of that place together. However ... Haku who had already run in front of Yu was finally able to survive. While Yu .. he was trapped because suddenly the 2nd floor building collapsed and closed the exit. Rescue team arrived .. but it was too late. The fire had already devoured Yu's body. Since then ... Haku always blames himself for Yu's death. Even Haku has always been traumatized when he sees a big fire" Anzu explained at length to me.

"But now .. his own fiance instead let Haku in and got caught up in his trauma back! Why are you doing that Yuko?! Why?! Why are you doing all that?!" now Anzu was already crying and said with half a shout.

I don't know what else to say at that time. My body really seems to have lost its power. I just fell down. My tears started to break again. And I can't think clearly right now.

I feel like I really have become a very stupid person for not understanding Haku. And it feels like I became a very bad person for letting Haku go. All wrong! This is all my fault!

Gathering my strength, I quickly tried to get back up and step towards the exit. I have to find Haku. I can't lose him again! Can't! I have to find her! Got to!!

My steps were getting closer to that door, but suddenly something pulled my hand and held me back.

"Tap-But my fiance is still inside!" I said while trying to take off the girl's hand.

"The rescue team is on the move. Just wait a minute! I hope they find your fiancee soon." she said again trying to calm me down.

I closed my eyes and hardened my jaw. I really don't know what else to do at the moment.

Suddenly from inside some rescue teams began to look out by carrying someone on a stretcher. I saw the victim's hand still carrying a tosca-colored totebag some of which was already on fire. The totebag fell not far from me, and I immediately picked it up to make sure it was a gift from Haku.

And it's true. Inside the totebag that was almost burned out was a necklace. The necklace that Haku just gave me.

I quickly chased after the man who was being lifted up on the stretcher with a cry.

"I'm .." I cried out in panic.

I saw him lying on a stretcher with his eyes closed. There was no visible wound. But the rest of his face and skin were filled with ash marks.

"Just go! Why else would you care about Haku! You almost killed him! You've put his life at risk." hardik Anzu suddenly came and confronted me.

I just shook slowly in my tears.

"Let me accompany Haku! I won't let you hurt Haku again!" anzu said very firmly and began to follow the officer who was carrying Haku.

Nah! I will not keep quiet. I hurriedly ran after them back until they brought Haku in an ambulance to the hospital.

As I was about to board the ambulance, Anzu again blocked me from returning.

He quickly found the back door of the ambulance. And the car just drove off leaving me. I quickly called a taxi and started chasing the ambulance.

"Sir please follow the ambulance in front!" my orders to the taxi driver.

"Well, Miss."that taxi driver.

I can't deny. It hurt a lot when Anzu told me all that, but I didn't want to stay away from Haku. And of course I won't leave him and just give up.

After a while, the ambulance stopped at a hospital. Same with the taxi I was riding.

The medical team immediately greeted him, and immediately took Haku to the emergency room. Anzu still faithfully carries Haku. While I was, still trying to run and overtake them down the aisle of this hospital.

I saw Anzu walking back and forth in front of the emergency room. He looks so worried at the moment. Why does it feel like this heart pain is increasing?
